Molin's words caught me off guard, but I knew one thing: I quickly covered his mouth with my hand and shot him a warning look. 0

Since I was sitting in the back seat and leaning towards Molin, Shizui probably couldn't see me. But just to be safe, I leaned in closer to Molin and whispered, "Shizui is still here! Keep it down." 0

To my surprise, Molin pushed my hand away, glanced at Shizui, who was focused on driving, and suddenly said, "It doesn't matter if he hears." 0

"What?" I exclaimed, pointing at Shizui. "Isn't he—" 0

"You suddenly got in between me and Ling Feng just now. Ling Feng couldn't hold back that punch. He appeared out of nowhere and blocked it effortlessly, catching Ling Feng's fist with ease." Molin narrowed his eyes at Shizui and spoke each word deliberately. "Did I say anything wrong? Mr. Shizui, when did you change your name? Or should I call you Rong Zhi?" 0

I couldn't see Shizui's expression clearly since he wasn't facing me directly; I could only catch a glimpse of a slight curve at the corner of his brow in the rearview mirror—a smile that was there but not quite. 0

"You should call me brother-in-law," Shizui said, his pleasant voice flowing like clear water—tasteless yet impossible to resist. "It's just that after all these years, you're still so naive, getting your energy drained by a little Zombie. If your sister knew—" 0

"You have no right to mention my sister! I will never call you brother-in-law!" 0

Molin clenched his fists in anger, glaring fiercely at Shizui. His face was flushed with rage and blood, filled with murderous intent. If he could, he would definitely beat up Shizui. 0

Yet Shizui remained unfazed and calm. 0

Listening to their conversation made me feel a bit disoriented. "Do you two... know each other?" 0

I recalled Molin's expression from yesterday at the hospital when he mentioned that his sister had fallen for a ghost and ended up being consumed. Although I had only pieced together fragments from his reactions, it seemed to be about right. 0

At this moment, I could feel the Malice emanating from Molin, wrapping around him and occupying his heart. 0

"Yes," Shizui said as he stopped the car at the red light. "I am his brother-in-law, and also a ghost. In the end, his sister died because of me, so he hates me." 0

Molin slammed his fist against the back of the seat, causing the injury on his face to throb. "You clearly went mad and devoured my sister!" 0

"I told you, it's not as you think." 0

"Then how is it?" Molin sneered, a strong hint of mockery in his voice. "First Demon Rong Zhi!" 0

Shizui's expression trembled at those six words, then he lowered his head, his dark bangs obscuring his handsome features. His deep voice carried a hint of hoarseness as he said, "Right now, I am just Shizui." 0

"Hmph." 0

"You need to get your injury treated at a hospital." 0

"That's none of your business!" Molin shrugged off my hand and opened the door to get out. I hurriedly followed and supported him. " Molin, you need treatment for your injury." 0

Molin impatiently grabbed my arm. "Treatment? No way! We have to get to Startup Community; there's no time left. Let's go!" 0

I couldn't stop Molin, but fortunately, it wasn't far to Startup Community. However, by the time we arrived, we were still a step too late; that girl had already jumped from the building and landed right in front of us. 0

Her brain matter splattered everywhere, and bright red blood flowed from the gaping wound, gradually spreading out. 0

I pulled Molin back a step, as someone had already noticed and screamed, drawing more people over. 0

"Let's go!" 0

Taking advantage of the commotion, Molin led me into their house just as Deceased's Parents rushed down to find out what was happening. 0

Perhaps they were too preoccupied with the news of their child's incident to even lock the door, which allowed us to slip in easily. 0

Once inside, Molin headed straight for the room where the deceased had jumped. I wasn't sure what he was doing, but barging in like this could get us into trouble if we were caught. 0

" Molin, what are you doing?" 0

Molin was scanning the deceased's room and finally spotted a photograph in the corner. "Just as I thought." 0

Curious, I leaned in to take a look. The photo showed the deceased just before she climbed out of the window to jump, and from the adjacent window, it seemed there was someone standing there—likely a woman based on her height. 0

"There's someone in this place." As soon as I spoke, I noticed that the deceased had vanished from the photo, and the blurred figure behind her had also disappeared. I was utterly astonished. "What is going on?" 0

"The deceased has passed away, so any photos taken with this ability will show them disappearing." 0

Suddenly, there was noise at the entrance. Molin grabbed my hand. "We need to leave first; I'll explain later." 0

Fortunately, we managed to sneak out without being noticed. I was terrified out of my wits, while he seemed completely unfazed, as if he did this all the time. 0

He casually hailed a car, and we headed back. 0

As soon as we entered, I couldn't wait to ask, "You have to tell me what’s going on! How could Xiao You possibly be a Zombie? And who are the women in these photos? Are they the masterminds behind this?" 0

Molin took off his outer coat and sat down on the sofa. On the coffee table lay his collected materials, along with photos of Ling Feng's death. "Tend to my wounds while you talk," he said. 0

Resigned, I fetched the first aid kit to clean his injuries, urging him, "Hurry up and explain." 0

"Alright, you're so annoying," Molin replied impatiently, rolling his eyes. "Look at this photo." 0

He handed me the one where Ling Feng was choking someone. He pointed at a shadowy figure behind Ling Feng in the display case and said, "Do you see that figure?" 0

"Yes, I see it," I confirmed; I had noticed it earlier. 0

"I had my senior brother analyze it and enlarged that shadow. This is what we got." 0

Molin pulled out another photo and handed it to me. As I was disinfecting his hand, I accidentally pressed too hard, causing him to gasp in pain. I then gripped the photo tightly, my eyes widening in disbelief. 0

"This can't be real! How could it be Xiao You?" 0

"I didn't believe it either, but I have no choice but to accept it. Just when I was about to notify you to go to the Startup Community, I found another photo from another victim's hand. It reflected a shadow of someone—it's still her." 0

"No! I refuse to believe it! Xiao You wouldn't do something like this; she's a human! How could she kill someone?" 0

"But now Lin You is a Zombie." 0

I was taken aback, recalling the words of that stranger from last night. A mix of emotions surged within me as I tightly gripped the photograph, falling into silence. 0

Molin sighed and continued, "What you saw earlier was indeed Lin You, but she is a Zombie, and her powers are profound. She must have been dead for quite some time, which doesn't match Lin You's situation. Even if we assume Lin You really is a Zombie, I can't feel it, but Jun Chong should be able to sense it. He is a ghost, and his awareness of death is far greater than that of a human. The fact that he hasn't said anything only indicates that Lin You is posing as a Zombie, and this isn't really Lin You." 0

"You aren't lying to me, are you?" 0

"Why would I lie to you? Deceiving you benefits me in no way. My life is still in Lin You's hands, and I have only two days left until the next blood payment. If I can't find it, I will die." 0

Hearing this, the tension in my heart eased. "But if she isn't, why would she take on Xiao You's appearance? Where has the real Xiao You gone?" 0

"I don't know." Molin bent down to pick up the photographs on the tea table, all of them featuring Ling Feng. "But I have another question." 0

"What question?" 0

"Every deceased person receives a photograph from the Soul Website before they die. But why did Ling Feng's photograph end up in our hands? Our relationship with Ling Feng isn't particularly close or friendly; even if it were sent to the wrong address, it shouldn't have come here." 0

I nodded. His observation made sense; it was indeed strange that Ling Feng's photograph had arrived at my home, yet we had never considered this angle. 0

"I later asked Ling Feng, and he told me he had never logged into that Website. I also inquired about his Birth Date and Time, discovering that his birth chart wasn't purely yin or yang; it was quite ordinary. Given all this, I can conclude that whoever sent the photograph here did so intentionally for us to discover this matter. Moreover, it's likely they knew I was investigating it." 0

"Then why would they do this? What benefit do they gain from leading us to investigate?" 0

Molin shot me a glance. "If I knew, I wouldn't be frowning like this. I've been drained of my energy, and my brain isn't functioning properly. Get me something to eat so I can rest for a bit." 0

His words only made me more curious. Remembering Lin You's strange behavior, a possibility flashed through my mind. " Molin, why do you think that Zombie is targeting you today? I feel like she might have some grudge against you. Have you offended her in any way?" 0

I had only said it casually, but Molin's expression froze, and his face gradually turned pale. 0

"What's wrong with you?" 0

"I used to have a crush on a Zombie." 0

"…" 0

Molin scratched his head impatiently. "But she shouldn't be bothering me anymore! Why is this happening?" 0

"Don't you feel it's her?" 0

"A Zombie smells like death; there's no way to tell them apart." 0

I tilted my head in thought. "Could it be that she thinks you like Lin You? So she took on Lin You's appearance to get close to you, and now she's angry at your abandonment? In a fit of rage, she instigated Ling Feng to beat you up as a form of revenge?" 0

Molin paused for a few seconds, then suddenly leaped off the sofa, clenching his fists. "No matter what, it's wrong for her to kill. Tonight we're going to Ling Feng's House. If it really is her, I won't hold back." 0
