Zhang Rui lightly traced the mark on his palm, the only proof of his existence in this fantastical world and the source of his power. He pondered Dr. Nan's words about The power of the sun, the mysterious and potent force discovered in the Medical kiosk. He recalled the warmth that the power brought, a feeling both mysterious and familiar, as if deeply connected to his soul.

Zhang Rui slowly sat up from the bed, his eyes still a bit blurry, and his body seemed not fully awake from the dream. He stretched lazily, trying to invigorate his body. The scene outside the window was not the usual morning sunlight he was used to, but a hazy mist, unique to the Shadow Realm.
He stood up and walked to the window, pushing it open. A fresh, slightly cool breeze greeted him, carrying the unique scent of the Shadow Realm. Here, the morning did not come with harsh light, but rather a gentle, quiet atmosphere. When Zhang Rui first arrived, he found these mornings somewhat gloomy, but now he was starting to get used to it, even finding the subtle light and shadow more relaxing.
Zhang Rui took a deep breath, feeling his body gradually waking up, and began preparing for the new day ahead. He remembered that he had a task to report to Master Liu, and his heart was filled with anticipation and curiosity.
Zhang Rui entered the Shadow League communal bathroom, picked up a toothbrush, and began his morning routine. As he focused on cleaning his teeth, a familiar figure entered the bathroom. It was Daruixiu, the friendly beastman who had helped him yesterday.
Daruixiu was tall and muscular, holding a giant toothbrush much larger than a regular one, brushing his two huge and sharp beastly teeth. There was foam at the corners of his mouth, which looked somewhat comical, but he seemed unfazed. When he noticed Zhang Rui watching him, he nodded with a mouth full of foam, as if greeting him.
Zhang Rui stood in a corner of the public bathroom at Shadow League, his gaze drawn to Daruixiu's unique way of washing up. Daruixiu stood in front of the sink, holding a giant toothbrush and vigorously brushing his two huge and sharp fangs. His movements were large and rugged, each brush accompanied by the harsh friction between the toothbrush and his teeth.
Daruixiu's teeth were extremely large, each one the size of an ordinary person's palm. He had to open his mouth wide to ensure the toothbrush could reach every corner. When he brushed the inside of his teeth, his facial muscles tensed, making it look somewhat difficult, but he seemed to have become accustomed to this daily routine.
With the movement of Daruixiu brushing his teeth, steam began to gather on the mirror in front of the washbasin, blurring his reflection. The corners of his mouth were filled with toothpaste foam, which almost overflowed a few times, but he seemed completely unconcerned.
Watching this scene, Zhang Rui was filled with curiosity. He had never seen such a scene, which gave him a deeper understanding of the diversity of the Shadow Realm. Just then, Daruixiu suddenly stopped brushing his teeth, turned his head to Zhang Rui, with foam at the corners of his mouth, and his eyes shimmering with a friendly yet mischievous light.
"Hey! It's really impolite to keep watching how others brush their teeth," Daruixiu joked.
Zhang Rui smiled awkwardly, realizing his rudeness, and quickly apologized, "Sorry, Daruixiu, I was just curious."
Daruixiu chuckled, wiped the foam from the corner of his mouth, revealing his huge teeth: "It's okay, young man. Here, you will see all kinds of strange things. Don't take it too seriously."
After speaking, Daruixiu continued his morning routine, while Zhang Rui returned to his own, filled with anticipation and curiosity about life in the Shadow Realm.
Zhang Rui brushed his teeth, returned to his room, and stood in front of the wardrobe. He picked out a decent outfit - a regular T-shirt and a pair of jeans that he had brought from the real world. In the Shadow Realm, a place full of mystery and exoticism, this kind of attire undoubtedly seemed out of place.
He gently put on the T-shirt, zipped up his pants, and adjusted his clothing in front of the mirror. A hint of contemplation appeared in his eyes as he secretly planned that if it weren't for reporting to Master Liu today, he would go to the market to buy some Shadow Realm clothing.
He thought about his first day at Shadow League, the intense battle with Xingtian, and the unexpected experience at the arsenal yesterday, feeling a strange excitement and anticipation in his heart. Life in the Shadow Realm was full of unknowns and challenges, but it also brought him a sense of excitement and the joy of adventure.
Zhang Rui looked at himself in the mirror, filled with determination and anticipation. He adjusted his clothes, took a deep breath, and made up his mind to find his place in this new world. Then he turned and prepared to leave the room, heading to the core area of Shadow League to find Master Liu and begin his new mission.
