Neil put on his observation glasses and felt as if he had instantly traveled through time and space to a whole new world. He felt like he was in the midst of a huge political and social pressure vortex, and the atmosphere here was clearly different from any other world he had observed. 0

"Analysis, activate," Neil thought to himself. 0

Observing through his glasses, Neil immediately scanned various indicators of this world and projected the data into his field of vision: nationalism prevails here, with every country and culture strongly asserting its superiority and independence. This self-awareness has reached a feverish level, making Neil feel a bit uneasy. 0

In this particular world of the Multiverse, Neil was immediately drawn to the almost boiling social atmosphere. The air was filled with an undeniable pressure, not just physical, but psychological, as if the entire world were a pressure cooker, ready to explode at any moment. 0

Nationalism here is a fire, constantly burning the passion and anger in people's hearts. It starts from the textbooks in school classrooms, instilling in every child the idea that "you are the best, your culture is the greatest." This kind of education may seem inspiring at first glance, but in reality, it fosters exclusivity, an "us versus them" mentality. This situation is even more serious among adults, as political leaders continuously use this nationalism as a tool to consolidate their power base. 0

However, nationalism is not the only problem in this world. On the opposite side, imperialism and socialism, these two major political forces, are also waging their own wars. Like a zero-sum game, each expansion of imperialism triggers a backlash from socialism, and the rise of socialism prompts imperialism to seek new conquest paths. 0

In this context, several major powers are engaged in economic and military struggles. They use various means—sometimes through trade wars, sometimes through military interventions—to suppress smaller countries. These smaller countries often become the victims of the power struggle, forced to take sides or suffer economic sanctions and political isolation. 0

In certain regions, socialist ideas are gaining increasing support. Workers and farmers are beginning to unite and launch various social movements, demanding changes to the unequal economic system and unjust social structures. They are no longer satisfied with the wealth gap brought about by capitalism and are beginning to question the legitimacy of the affluent classes. 0

In this environment permeated with the smell of gunpowder, geopolitical tensions are escalating. Regional conflicts and ethnic movements have become more frequent, often sparking large-scale social movements or even wars from a small spark. Extremist organizations and terrorists are thriving in this environment, constantly recruiting and expanding their influence. 0

Neil stands in a corner of this world, deeply feeling that the situation here is more complex and dangerous than any world he has observed before. 0

Neil feels a heavy sense of responsibility. This is a complex and uncertain world, but it is precisely because of this that this observation mission has become particularly important. He knows that only through rigorous scientific observation and in-depth analysis can we truly understand the essence of this world and find opportunities for potential change and progress. 0

Neil can't help but wonder, if all of this is just part of a simulated assessment, then what does The organization of the Eyes of the Philosopher really want to test him for? Is it his keen observation of political and social phenomena, or his ability to remain rational and calm in extreme situations? 0

Although feeling uneasy and conflicted inside, Neil knew that he had to complete this observation mission in order to become an official member of The Eye of the Philosopher. 0

"End observation, transmit data," Neil thought to himself, and the observation glasses began to transmit all the information he had observed. 0

Next, Neil's fingers lightly touched the smart panel, and the time slider on the operating interface slowly moved forward. In an instant, his field of observation was filled with various complex and changing future scenarios. In the virtual world before him, the images of various countries became increasingly blurred, replaced by scenes of horrifying wars. 0

At first, Neil observed the leaders of various countries gathering in a grand conference hall. Their faces carried a tense yet hopeful expression, as if this war could quickly resolve all the problems. However, as he pushed the timeline forward slightly, those intentions were quickly shattered by reality. 0

Young soldiers appeared in his field of vision, their faces filled with enthusiasm and boundless ideals. After experiencing the initial battles, these faces became expressionless, like puppets. Instead, a deep-seated fear and despair took over. Their eyes lost focus, leaving only emptiness. 0

Neil felt uneasy, but he knew he couldn't stop. He continued to observe the battlefield in that virtual world. Explosions of gunfire in the void, splattering blood, and scattered limbs exposed the brutality of the war. Amidst the intense artillery fire and smoke, soldiers cried out in pain with their last bit of strength. Some soldiers, unable to bear more pressure and fear, chose to point the gun at themselves, ending their brief and tragic lives. 0

Neil's heart was almost stopping, but he knew this was not the end. He saw that medical facilities and supplies were not only scarce, but extremely inadequate. What was heartbreaking was the horrifying way the wounded were being treated: a rusty surgical knife, an expired bottle of anesthesia, these were their only lifesaving equipment. These scarce medical resources eventually became a valuable commodity, only used to save those deemed "more valuable." 0

Then there were the civilians, innocent civilians. Their lives were shattered by this senseless war. The city was constantly bombed, buildings and houses turned into ruins. Residents suffered from hunger and cold, many perished or became displaced. Children cried in their mothers' arms, while elderly fathers held their spouses with trembling hands, step by step, walking towards an unknown shelter. 0
