The two walked side by side along the familiar streets of Old Town, the old buildings on either side filled with childhood memories. Sunlight filtered through the lush branches of the Phoenix Tree, casting dappled shadows on the ground. 0

Su Xiaonuan pointed to an old pastry shop by the roadside. "Look, this shop is still here! We used to come here often to buy red bean buns." 0

Lin Chen nodded. "I remember. You always bought two—one for yourself and one… to feed the pigeons." He looked at Su Xiaonuan, a hint of affectionate amusement in his eyes. 0

Su Xiaonuan stuck out her tongue playfully. "I was young back then." 0

As they reached the entrance of the park, Lin Chen spotted a cotton candy stall. The fluffy cotton candy looked as white and soft as clouds. Remembering how much Su Xiaonuan loved cotton candy as a child, he approached the stall. "Excuse me, one cotton candy please." 0

Taking the cotton candy from the vendor, Lin Chen turned and handed it to Su Xiaonuan. "Here you go, your favorite." 0

Su Xiaonuan happily accepted the cotton candy, her eyes turning into crescent moons. "Thank you, Brother Chen!" She couldn't wait to take a big bite, the sweet flavor spreading in her mouth, reminding her of the times she shared cotton candy with Lin Chen during their childhood. Back then, Lin Chen always saved the bigger piece for her while he only took a small bite. 0

"It's so sweet!" Su Xiaonuan said contentedly, squinting her eyes in delight. 0

Just then, the sound of a motorcycle engine grew louder as it approached. A red motorcycle stopped at the park entrance. Shen Hao took off his helmet, revealing his handsome face illuminated by sunlight. Upon seeing Su Xiaonuan, he waved enthusiastically. 0

"Xiaonuan! What a coincidence! Are you here to play in the park too?" 0

"Shen Hao?" Su Xiaonuan exclaimed in surprise. "Yeah, I came with Lin Chen." 0

Lin Chen nodded slightly in acknowledgment. 0

"What a coincidence!" Shen Hao parked his motorcycle and walked over. "Let’s walk together." 0

The three of them strolled along the park's path, and the atmosphere became somewhat delicate. Lin Chen quietly observed Su Xiaonuan and Shen Hao's interaction, a trace of barely noticeable jealousy flickering in his eyes. He slipped his hands into his pockets, his fingertips gently rubbing against the Handmade Doll that Su Xiaonuan had given him. 0

Shen Hao pointed at the basketball court in the park. "Back in the day, I was the captain of the school basketball team, and I left behind quite a few glorious achievements here!" There was a hint of pride in his voice. 0

Su Xiaonuan smiled in response. "Yeah, a lot of girls used to scream for you back then." 0

Shen Hao scratched his head awkwardly. "Oh, come on, that was all in the past." 0

He turned to Lin Chen. "Speaking of which, during high school, Li Wei was relentless in pursuing you—bringing you breakfast and writing love letters. You really had some charm back then!" 0

Upon hearing the name "Li Wei," Su Xiaonuan's expression changed slightly, and a flicker of disappointment crossed her eyes. The cotton candy in her hand seemed to lose its sweetness. 0

Lin Chen noticed Su Xiaonuan's shift in mood and quickly changed the subject. "How about we go over to the corner and play some claw machines? You loved that when we were kids; you always managed to grab so many." 0

He took Su Xiaonuan's hand and led her toward the corner, his tone light and natural as if nothing had happened moments before. 0

Su Xiaonuan paused for a moment before breaking into a faint smile. "Sure." 0

She followed Lin Chen's lead, her gaze lingering on their joined hands, a ripple of emotions stirring within her. 0

Seeing this, Shen Hao hurried to join them. "Great! I'll try my luck too!" 0

He quickly moved to Su Xiaonuan's other side, and the three walked side by side toward the corner. 0

In the evening park, the setting sun cast its golden rays on the tree-lined path, stretching their shadows long and slender. 0

Lin Chen turned his head slightly and discreetly nudged Su Xiaonuan with his arm, a barely noticeable smile playing at the corners of his mouth. "Do you remember which doll you loved to catch the most? That Pink Bunny? You would hold onto it tightly every time." 0

Su Xiaonuan shifted her gaze from Lin Chen's hand to the front, her thoughts drifting back to childhood. "Of course I remember! I lost that little rabbit later on, and I was sad for quite a while." 0

Her voice carried a hint of nostalgia. 0

Shen Hao interjected, "What a coincidence! I also loved claw machines, but my target was that big Teddy Bear. Unfortunately, I've never managed to grab one." 0

As he spoke, his eyes unconsciously darted toward Su Xiaonuan, seemingly trying to catch her attention. 0

Su Xiaonuan smiled politely but didn't respond; instead, her gaze instinctively drifted back to Lin Chen. 0

The leaves of the Phoenix Trees rustled softly by the roadside, blending with the sound of their footsteps on the fallen leaves, creating an unusually clear melody. 0
