I took a bite of the Jianbing Guozi, the crispy outer layer crackling lightly as I bit into it. The rich sauce and the aroma of the egg spread in my mouth. I glanced at the Suit Man, noticing a bit of sauce at the corner of my mouth. I casually wiped it away with my thumb and asked, "Excuse me, are you looking for me?" 0

The Suit Man paused for a moment, his perfectly tailored suit making him appear somewhat awkward as he adjusted his gold-rimmed glasses. Finally, he reacted and pulled out a business card from his briefcase, handing it to me with a much more respectful tone. "Miss Xie, hello, I am the assistant to the president of Gu Group..." 0

I waved my hand to interrupt him, pointing at the Jianbing Guozi in my hand. "If you have something to say, wait until I finish eating." I took another big bite of the Jianbing Guozi, chewing slowly on purpose to buy some time. 0

Seeing this, the Suit Man's lips moved as if he wanted to say something but ultimately held back, standing patiently beside me. The autumn sunlight spilled over the leaves of the sycamore trees by the roadside, turning them golden. A gentle breeze rustled through the leaves. 0

After finishing my Jianbing Guozi, I crumpled up the wrapper and tossed it into a nearby trash can. Only then did I take the Suit Man's business card, glancing at it to see that it read "Special Assistant to the President of Gu Group." I raised an eyebrow and casually slipped it into my pocket, saying, "Let me eat a Jianbing Guozi to calm down first; we can talk slowly." 0

The Suit Man hesitated for a moment but eventually accepted another Jianbing Guozi that I handed him. Seizing the opportunity, I walked behind the Jianbing stall and picked up a spatula, skillfully preparing another Jianbing Guozi. To the stunned vendor, I said, "Boss, today I'll help you with business; you can take a break." 0

Before the vendor could react, I had already started calling out to customers. "Jianbing Guozi! Delicious and affordable! Don’t miss out as you pass by!" 0

After finishing his Jianbing Guozi, the Suit Man stepped in front of me with a much more respectful tone. "Miss Xie, President Gu would like you to return; he wants to discuss something regarding the check again." 0

Without looking up, I continued making Jianbing, expertly cracking an egg onto the sizzling iron plate with a satisfying sizzle. "Sorry, I'm really busy right now; I don't have time." 0

At that moment, a black Maybach pulled up in front of the Jianbing stall. Gu Yuanshan stepped out of the car with a dark expression on his face. Upon seeing me making Jianbing, his expression soured even further. He walked straight up to me and said in a low voice, "Xie Gongqiu, what exactly do you want?" 0

I handed a freshly made Jianbing Guozi to a customer and collected payment before turning my attention to Gu Yuanshan. "President Gu, I think my current job is quite good; I get paid daily and don’t have to deal with anyone's moods." With that said, I picked up another dough ball and began preparing another Jianbing. 0

Bai Qianchen had also followed Gu Yuanshan to the Jianbing stall. Seeing me skillfully making Jianbing filled her eyes with surprise. She approached me and quietly asked, "Miss Xie, you really know how to make Jianbing?" Dressed in a white dress, she looked delicate and pure like a white lotus untouched by dust. 0

I smiled and nodded, handing her a freshly made Jianbing Guozi. "Try it, my skills are renowned far and wide." 0

Bai Qianchen took the Jianbing Guozi, carefully taking a bite, her eyes lighting up. "Delicious!" A look of surprise spread across her face, like a child who had just received candy. 0

Gu Yuanshan watched us laughing and chatting, his expression darkening. He snatched the Jianbing Guozi from Bai Qianchen's hands and threw it to the ground, then pulled her away, leaving only a cold silhouette behind. The Jianbing Guozi lay scattered on the ground, the sauce and broken egg mixing together in a messy heap. 0

I watched their retreating figures, shrugged my shoulders, and continued making my Jianbing Guozi. The autumn breeze blew by, lifting a few fallen leaves that twirled in the air before gently landing on the ground. 0

I picked up the spatula and skillfully flattened a new dough ball on the Jianbing griddle. "Next!" I called out loudly, scanning the line of customers. 0

A man in a plaid shirt stepped forward. "Young lady, your Jianbing Guozi is truly authentic. I'll have one with sausage and egg." 0

"Sure thing!" I replied, my wrist flicking as I moved with fluid grace. The egg sizzled on the Jianbing, filling the air with its enticing aroma. Around the griddle, the scent of food mingled with hints of fallen leaves and earth. 0

The stall owner watched in awe, rubbing his hands together awkwardly. "Um... Miss Xie, you're really impressive. The business at this Jianbing stall is more than double what I usually get." He pointed to the mountain of ingredients piled behind him. "We're about to run out." 0

I smiled back at him. "No worries, I can handle it." 0
