Today, Xu Changyan got up early. When Su Wenzhi opened his eyes, he saw that there was no one in the bed. Xu Changyan had already gotten up, and the bedroom door was closed. Su Wenzhi looked at the time, then closed his eyes again and continued to doze for a while.
After about ten minutes, Su Wenzhi got up, put on his clothes, and walked out the door. Xu Changyan was holding a bowl of steamed eggs and saw Su Wenzhi coming out. "You're up. I made some breakfast. Go wash up first, and come eat in a while."
Su Wenzhi scratched his head, rubbed his eyes, and still felt quite unaccustomed to the presence of someone in his home.
Su Wenzhi looked at Xu Changyan and couldn't help but smile, saying, "Why are you up so early and even made breakfast? You're so diligent. Alright, I'll freshen up first and come over to eat right after."
Xu Changyan Used the rice cooker to make some porridge, and also made a bowl of steamed eggs. Took out some leftover pickled vegetables from the refrigerator to go with the meal.
Xu Changyan Filled two bowls of porridge, handed one to Su Wenzhi, and placed it in front of him, saying, "Be careful, it's hot!"
"Congee, steamed egg, how early did you have to get up?"
Su Wenzhi stirred the congee in the bowl with chopsticks, raised his chin to Xu Changyan, and told him he didn't have to get up so early to cook.
Xu Changyan held the dishes gracefully and smiled at Su Wenzhi, "I woke up early this morning and couldn't fall back asleep, so I decided to get up and make some breakfast."
Su Wenzhi shook his head and said, "Ah, youth. Young people, you are so fortunate. Full of energy and waking up early."
"You're not much older than me." Xu Changyan is not happy about being called young.
The porridge is quite hot, and the pickled vegetables are very appetizing. The two of them took a while to finish eating. After they finished, Xu Changyan automatically took the bowls to the kitchen to wash them.
"Why are you rushing to do the dishes? You made breakfast early this morning." Su Wenzhi leaned against the door frame, watching Xu Changyan wash the dishes.
"It's okay, I quite like doing the dishes. It's just our dishes, not many, so it's pretty quick. Are you done? You should go to work first, I'll go out later."
"Okay, I'm leaving then." Su Wenzhi suddenly stepped forward, ruffled Xu Changyan's hair, and smiled, "You'll have to figure out lunch by yourself today."
After Su Wenzhi left, Xu Changyan also finished washing the dishes. After tidying up the house, Xu Changyan went out.
Su Wenzhi went to work as usual.
"Today my mom gave me a photo, guess what for?" Han Xin leaned in, giving Su Wenzhi a mysterious smile.
"What? Let me guess... Hmm, I can't guess." Han Xin always likes to keep people in suspense. Su Wenzhi hopes he will finish soon, so he just goes along with him and urges him to speak quickly.
"A photo of a female friend, here..." Han Xin took out a photo from his phone and handed it to Su Wenzhi, "My mom's friend's daughter, my mom wants me to meet her. She gave me the photo, meaning she wants me to go on a blind date!"
Su Wenzhi After listening, he raised an eyebrow without expressing any opinion, and made a noncommittal sound.
Han Xin Raised an eyebrow, "No comment?"
Su Wenzhi Smiling, arms crossed: "Instead of giving my opinion, let me ask you, do you want to go on a blind date?"
Han Xin Lowering his head for a moment, "I actually want to go on a blind date. I don't want to be single anymore. Besides, there's no harm in meeting someone, and if it doesn't work out, at least I can make a friend." He seemed quite open-minded about it.
Su Wenzhi Raised his eyebrows, "Then it's settled, let's go. It's not like we'll lose anything. When?"
Han Xin Lowered his head, "Tomorrow night, at seven o'clock, let's have dinner together."
Su Wenzhi Clicking his tongue: "So fast? It seems like Auntie is really in a hurry."
"My mom had made an appointment with them. Since we have a day off tomorrow and they happen to be free, it's convenient to meet up. But I'm a little nervous too, even though it's just the first time meeting, we both understand what it implies."
Han Xin continued, "My mom also said, 'If you both like each other and get along, you can give it a try.'"
So, on that day, Su Wenzhi spent the whole day in Han Xin's chatter, as Han Xin went on about how nervous he was and how there was a little bit of excitement and anticipation in his heart.
At lunchtime, Li Wen noticed something unusual about Han Xin and began to question him. At first, Han Xin was evasive, but later he couldn't bear it and directly mentioned the blind date. Instead of criticizing him as usual, Li Wen and Zhao Yue seemed a bit excited and together came up with some ideas for Han Xin.
Li Wen has a boyfriend, who was her college classmate. They started dating in college and have a good relationship. After graduation, they both stayed in the same city. Therefore, based on her own experience with her boyfriend, Li Wen offered some advice to Han Xin... Su Wenzhi wasn't interested in knowing so much and quickly finished eating before returning to the office.
Back in the office, Su Wenzhi suddenly remembered that Xu Changyan went out to look for a job today.
I went out without any money and I don't even know if I had lunch. How could I have been so thoughtless at first, Su Wenzhi thought to himself. I really am careless. If I don't have any money, how can I catch the bus? Su Wenzhi felt very regretful.
Xu Changyan has no phone and no way to contact, and I don't know where he comes from. Su Wenzhi suddenly realized that this person, who suddenly appeared and intruded into his life, if he suddenly disappeared, he might not even know where to find him.
