Ma Hao's mother was doing it on purpose. 0

She deliberately provoked me, hoping to make me emotional and then cause a miscarriage. I was truly infuriated by her actions. 0

Looking at her tear-streaked face, I couldn't help but sneer. "Ma Hao's mother, I know you're worried about the child, but this is going too far, don't you think?" 0

"I'm just pregnant; I'm not sick. Why can't I continue being the homeroom teacher?" 0

"If you really care about the child, you should respect the child's teacher instead of humiliating me in front of so many people like this." 0

Seeing this, several other parents began to criticize Ma Hao's mother as well. "Ma Hao's mother, this is too much. Teacher Lin is just pregnant; that doesn't mean she can't work." 0

"Exactly! Teacher Lin is so responsible; even while pregnant, she will still take good care of her students." 0

"What you're doing is just too domineering!" 0

As Ma Hao's mother noticed everyone starting to blame her, she became even more furious and stood up abruptly, pointing at my nose and shouting, "You all don't understand anything! It's not that I want to transfer schools; it's this woman who is deliberately retaliating against me!" 0

I looked at her coldly. 0

"What do you mean by that, Ma Hao's Mother?" 0

"What do I mean?" Ma Hao's Mother scoffed. "You’re afraid I’ll report that you’re pregnant, so you threaten to transfer Ma Hao. And now you have the nerve to ask me what I mean?" 0

I couldn't help but laugh in disbelief at Ma Hao's Mother. It was the first time I had seen someone twist the truth so boldly and confidently. 0

I shook my head. "Ma Hao's Mother, I never said I wanted to transfer Ma Hao." 0

"You’re lying!" Ma Hao's Mother snapped. "If you didn’t have that intention, why would you block me? You know very well that blocking a student's parent is a huge taboo!" 0

I replied calmly, "That’s because what you said was too much." 0

"How was it too much?" Ma Hao's Mother grew increasingly agitated. "Everything I said is true. You’re pregnant and can’t work, so you should resign instead of occupying the homeroom teacher position and delaying my child’s education!" 0

I really didn’t want to continue this argument any longer. I turned on the projector and displayed the message Ma Hao's Mother had sent in the parent group onto the blackboard. 0

"Everyone take a look; this is the message Ma Hao's Mother sent me yesterday." 0

"She said I’m pregnant and can’t continue as homeroom teacher, suggesting I terminate the pregnancy." 0

"Isn’t it obvious she wants me to resign?" 0

Everyone stared at the news on the screen, and an uproar ensued. 0
"Ma Hao's Mother, this is too much, isn't it?" 0
"Teacher Lin is just pregnant; that doesn't mean she can't work. Why should you force her to resign?" 0
"Exactly, Teacher Lin is so responsible. Even while pregnant, she will still take good care of her students." 0
"What you're doing is really excessive!" 0

As the crowd's accusations grew louder, Ma Hao's Mother's expression darkened. She clenched her teeth and suddenly shouted, "Everyone, shut up!" 0
"Do you know why I want her to resign?" 0
"Is it just because I can't teach Ma Hao?" 0
"No!" 0
"It's because she doesn't deserve to teach Ma Hao!" 0
"A woman like her is completely unworthy of being Ma Hao's teacher!" 0

I was taken aback by her outburst. This was the first time I had seen her so hysterical. She had always been someone who cared deeply about her image, maintaining an air of superiority at school. But now, she seemed like a completely different person. Her face was twisted with rage, and her eyes were bloodshot, as if I were her sworn enemy. I looked at her, unable to suppress my frown. 0
