The next day, the sound of seagulls outside woke me up. I looked out the window and saw a flock of seagulls soaring through the air, appearing as if they were riding the wind. They looked proud and spirited. It seemed to be their feeding time, as many other birds I couldn't identify dove into the sea to catch fish, creating a magnificent scene. 0

After a quick wash-up, I stepped out of my room to begin today's investigation. I decided to start with the group of businessmen from America, hoping to uncover any grudges among them. These individuals were not familiar to me; they typically avoided participating in any events. However, the boss certainly had the demeanor of a leader, and we couldn't expect someone of his stature to be fishing on deck without a care. 0

As I left, I noticed that Zhao Mingkun's subordinates had just changed shifts, continuing their watch in the corridor. I couldn't help but shake my head; it was evident how powerful this organization was, given how strictly he controlled his subordinates. They had been stationed there all night without moving. 0

Reaching the upper deck, I found several passengers already awake. I took the opportunity to check on Mai Lang and found him opening the door for me. As soon as I entered, I saw Franco playing with a cat. To my surprise, the cat had climbed onto the roof and showed no signs of coming down. Franco and Mai Lang both looked somewhat helpless upon seeing me. 0

A dog was barking incessantly at the cat while a parrot kept squawking in Italian, "Come down! Come down!" 0

It seemed like something Mai Lang had just taught it. I quickly left to find Zhao Mingkun and asked him to gather all the businessmen together. At that moment, Zhao Mingkun was only wearing a shirt and shorts, showcasing her stunning figure. I never expected her to open the door dressed like that. 0

Through Zhao Mingkun, I learned about these businessmen's backgrounds. They were all talents from Silicon Valley who had come together to explore markets around the world and ended up on this ship. Most of them were familiar faces since they were all involved in startups in Silicon Valley and were well-versed in internet trends. 0

Zhao Mingkun briefly explained what these individuals did, but I was left confused as she didn't fully understand either. Although I had passed my English Level Six exam, many technical terms related to the internet were beyond my comprehension. At that moment, I thought about how helpful the Special Investigation Team would be. 0

If Juan Juan were here yesterday, he could have figured out everything about Anderson's death—how he died, when it happened, and what he did before his death. If Mary were here now, she would surely explain these people's roles in simple terms. 0

With no other options available, I suddenly remembered that Mai Lang was also an internet professional—albeit from an Italian company—and likely understood these technical terms much better than I did. I decided to show him the information. After reviewing it, Mai Lang said, "Based on this data, let me categorize them for you." 0

"Although Anderson and Davis are from different companies, they frequently collaborate on search engine projects. The others are involved in building online platforms or interactive networks. In short, we are currently in an era dominated by the internet; these people are diverse and rarely similar in their work styles. Therefore, it's hard to say there is any malicious competition among them. However, no one knows what connections lie behind them; that's something you'll have to investigate yourself," Mai Lang explained. 0

Afterward, he headed up to swim in the pool. 0

I nodded and continued examining the materials. Through detailed investigation into these individuals, I discovered that none of them seemed capable of harboring murderous hatred towards anyone. However, one person provided me with a lead that hadn't crossed my mind before: he had seen Franderson getting close with someone. 0

If Mai Lang were here, he wouldn't have mentioned it; yet seeing him leave prompted this individual to share this information with me because it concerned Franco, Mai Lang's girlfriend. 0

It was probably a few days ago. The ship was large, with various facilities inside, making it easy to find some secluded spots. One day, the merchant, feeling aimless, decided to take a stroll around the ship to see how long it would take. Eventually, he found himself at a basketball court and spotted Franderson. 0

The merchant did not step out to greet the two, as it felt somewhat awkward in that environment. He had no idea why these two were in the basketball court; it seemed strange. So, he quietly observed them from behind, and soon he saw something involving Franderson. 0

What followed was a scene of two people engaging in an adult activity on the basketball court. The merchant quickly understood what was happening and quietly left. However, he never mentioned this incident to anyone; he did not want to get involved in their affairs. Had it not been for this incident, he would never have spoken of it because it concerned someone else's privacy. 0

But Anderson's death made him feel that things were not so simple. After thinking about it all night, he decided to tell me about the incident. Although he could not be sure there was a connection, at least it eased his conscience somewhat. Upon hearing Anderson's words, I couldn't help but furrow my brow. Throughout this time, Franco had never mentioned this matter to us. Was he trying to avoid suspicion or cover something up? I felt I needed to clarify this. 0

So I immediately went to find Brazilian Babe and knocked on the door. Franco answered, and I noticed Mai Lang was not inside; she was probably still swimming in the pool above. This was a perfect opportunity since Mai Lang was absent; I needed to gather some information quickly without discussing what had happened between Franderson in front of her. 0

I cleared my throat and asked, "Franco, there's something I need to clarify with you. It might be related to Anderson's death or it might not be, but we can only know after some judgment has been made. Someone saw you and Anderson having an encounter in the basketball court a few days ago; do you deny this?" 0

Franco looked at me with a furrowed brow and then calmly replied, "I thought no one would see us; turns out someone did notice. Yes, I did have an encounter with Anderson in the basketball court, but if you’re concluding that I’m a murderer just because of that, then that’s absurd." 0

I shook my head and quickly said, "I'm not saying you killed him; I just want to understand the situation at that time. Before this incident, it seems you gave something to Anderson. That person couldn’t see clearly; what I need to ask you is what exactly you gave Anderson and whether it has any relation to his death. I hope you can answer truthfully." 0

The girl’s expression suddenly changed; she looked somewhat panicked but quickly regained her composure. At that moment, she was wearing a bikini and wrapped herself in a towel. She began pulling the towel up slightly until her long tanned legs were revealed. With her already stunning figure, this only made her look more alluring. 0

"I've never tried being with a Chinese guy," she said while licking her lips. "If you can keep this quiet, I'll make sure you're satisfied. What do you say? Come on, I can't wait any longer." As she spoke, she slowly began to undo her clothing. 0

I immediately grabbed her hand and draped the towel back over her shoulders seriously saying, "I’m a police officer; I never joke about someone's life. If you act like this, I can only consider you the prime suspect! Tell me—did you kill him?" 0

"No!" She replied when she realized she hadn’t confused me. 0

"Since you're not the one who killed him," I said earnestly, "what did you give Anderson? Although you have an alibi, the time of Anderson's death isn't precisely determined; murder can happen in a very short time frame. You could very well have killed him and then gone up on deck!" 0

Franco looked at me seriously, seemingly unwilling to give up. He leaned closer, trying to pull the blanket away and pressed against me, saying, "Don't be like this. Have you ever tried a body like mine? Don't refuse. Come on, I can't wait!" I immediately stood up and said, "You really don't need to do this. I'm a police officer." 0

Franco also stood up and replied, "I can say that I didn't kill anyone, but I won't tell you what that thing really is." 0

I looked seriously at this Brazilian Babe, realizing there must be some hidden connection between her and Franderson. But if she wasn't the one who killed him, why wouldn't she just say so? There must be something unusual going on; I needed to get to the bottom of this. 0

With that thought in mind, I smiled lightly and said earnestly to Franco, "Miss, at this point, it's not about whether you want to talk or not. I'm going to call someone over right now, and then you'll have to speak up whether you want to or not. Or you could just tell me now. What would Mai Lang think if he found out about this? Have you considered the consequences of your actions?" 0

Franco remained unfazed, looking back at me intently as she said word by word, "I gave you a chance, sir. Our relationship has been quite good so far. But if you keep pushing me, I will have no choice but to turn hostile. I advise you not to force us into a confrontation." 0

This was an obvious threat, but I didn't think Franco had any real way to threaten me at that moment. Did she have a gun? A knife? 0

"That should be my line," I said while observing her closely. "Don't push me." 0

Upon hearing my words, she suddenly untied her bikini and jumped into my arms, shouting, "Help! Help! Someone is trying to rape me!" 0

It was my first time out at sea when I encountered the famous Bengal Aid Worker. Young and impulsive, but too poor to really take action until the First Mate told me that a bag of instant noodles could get me through the night with a group of women... It was intense and multi-faceted. 0
