Arriving at the scene, it was clear that the local police station had already secured the area. There it was, the brown SUV that had appeared in the surveillance footage, quietly parked by the roadside. The officers on site seemed unaware of what had transpired upon our arrival. 0

One officer asked, "What's going on? Is the owner of this vehicle a fugitive?" 0

I replied, "Not a fugitive, but a greater threat. We need to check the nearby surveillance immediately; I want to know exactly when this vehicle was parked here." 0

The officer hesitated at my command but promptly set off to carry it out. 0

Dezi circled around the SUV, trying several door handles, all of which were locked. Upon closer inspection, the vehicle was parked neatly in its space, and judging by the dust accumulation beneath it, it hadn't been driven for over a day. Since this was Killer's car, I decided to take action and said, "Dezi, break it open." 0

Dezi nodded. Just as I was about to search for something like a brick to assist him, I heard a loud crash. Turning back, I saw that Dezi had smashed the driver's side window with his elbow. He then unlocked all four doors from the inside without breaking a sweat. I couldn't help but give him a thumbs up. 0

This guy's body is made of steel! 0

With the doors now open, we peered inside and immediately spotted a black handbag resting on the seat. Frowning slightly, I opened it to find a letter and a bone inside. Juan Juan took the bone and examined it closely before saying, "This is a human bone—a piece of vertebra." 0

The letter was still skin; there was no doubt it was another Human Skin Map. I unfolded it to take a look. This Human Skin Map was much smaller than the first one we had encountered. Naturally, there were fewer words on it, resembling more of a note. As I spread it out and began reading: 0

"When you receive this letter, it should be our Officer Shao Shilin, right? If not, finding me next will be quite difficult for you. However, your arrival here indicates that you have cracked the secret of the Human Skin Map. So if you see this letter, it must be Officer Shao Shilin. 0

Last time I gave you a lesson on gourmet food; this time we should play a game when we meet. Let's make it quick; I've heard there's going to be heavy rain soon. If those things get washed away, finding me will be quite challenging! 0

If you can't find the next clue, our game will lose its meaning. Enough said; I need to prepare now. You all better hurry up and find me! Haha!" 0

The letter ended there. Sure enough, Killer had intentionally left his vehicle in view of the cameras for us to find. Realizing this, I immediately climbed onto the roof of the car and said to Dezi, "Dezi, hold up the Human Skin Map letter high; if I'm not mistaken, this should still be part of the Human Skin Map." 0

Dezi complied and raised it higher. I quickly took out my Wolf Eye Flashlight; its beam was incredibly strong and had great range. From my elevated position, I shone the flashlight onto the Human Skin Map letter. Instantly, light filtered through it and cast a shadow on the ground—once again revealing numerous light spots that could form lines into another localized map. 0

Mary quickly captured an image of it and continued working with her tech team to compare maps. Just then, we heard a rumble of thunder overhead as a cold wind swept through. To my surprise, there was still thunderstorm activity in late autumn; Killer had indeed factored in the weather conditions into his plans. The meticulousness of this situation created an intense feeling of pressure within me—it felt as though we were being toyed with. 0

According to what was written in the letter, if we didn't find this location soon enough, we might miss some crucial clues. 0

The Captain suggested, "Let's get inside the car to wait out the rain; it looks like we're in for quite a storm." 0

We looked up at the sky, where there was no moonlight and no stars. It seemed as if a massive dark cloud had suddenly covered the entire night, creating a suffocating feeling that made it hard to breathe. Then, a heavy rainstorm arrived as expected. We were in the car, and Mary was remotely controlling the members of the Police Department's technical team through her computer. 0

As the rain intensified, I felt a sense of panic. The Killer was certainly not joking, but what would happen if we couldn't find any clues? Just as I was feeling increasingly anxious, Mary spoke up, "Found it! This place is on the outskirts of the city; it seems to be a wild hillside not too far from here!" 0

Having located the site, I immediately told the Captain, "Drive there right away!" 0

As soon as the car started, I heard a police officer from behind shout, "Captain Shao, what do you mean by just leaving without the surveillance footage? The surveillance!" 0

"Forget it!" I shouted back. 0

In this stormy weather, I urged Captain Gao to drive faster while ensuring safety. However, Captain's driving skills left much to be desired; he probably wasn't as good as I was. This situation continued until we switched drivers to Yan Junde. To be honest, Yan Junde was an experienced driver. During his training with the armed police, he had driven through similar terrains countless times. Sure enough, half an hour later, we arrived at our destination. 0

The outskirts were all dirt roads, muddy and bumpy; I felt like I was on a boat, swaying back and forth. Captain Gao simply rolled down the window and spat outside. After a long struggle, we reached a point not far from our destination where the road ended. It was a hillside of moderate height, and the torrential rain had caused some landslides. 0

I couldn't afford to delay any longer; I led the Special Investigation Team up into the rain. Not long after we started walking, I spotted a pit in front of me. Looking inside, I saw a pile of bones—how many pieces there were, I couldn't tell. Earlier, in that black handbag accompanied by a letter, there had been one bone; now seeing countless bones inside made everyone immediately understand the Killer's intentions. 0

The rain was pouring down heavily; we were all drenched and didn't care about appearances anymore. I quickly said, "The bones inside should all be human bones; this is the next clue left for us by the Killer. We need to collect all of them—leave not a single one behind." 0

Dezi jumped in first, followed closely by me and Captain Gao while Mary and Juan Juan stayed above. We dug and grabbed whatever hard pieces we could find and stuffed them into bags. After working for a solid twenty minutes, we finally managed to extract all the bones from the pit. Once we confirmed there were no more bones left, we climbed out. 0

At that moment, water in the pit was accumulating rapidly; when Dezi was the last one to come up, it could no longer hold so much rainwater and suddenly collapsed, sending water rushing downwards. Seeing this scene sent chills down my spine. If it had rained for even a little longer, the pit would have been completely washed away by the water; at that point, we wouldn't have been able to collect all these bones and would inevitably miss some. 0

With that heavy weight lifted off my chest, we made our way back through the muddy path. I lost count of how many times I stumbled before reaching the car. Once inside, we were still dripping wet; our clothes clung uncomfortably to our bodies. 0

Dezi drove towards the Police Department but wasn't nearly as fast anymore. We could still hear thunder rumbling in the distance while the rain had lessened somewhat. Captain Gao helplessly said to us, "It looks like after this case is over, our car will need a thorough cleaning inside and out." 0

And so we returned to the Police Department; people around us looked at us as if we were five monsters. 0

After washing up properly, we finally looked somewhat human again. We gently poured out that large bag of bones and discovered that their specifications were quite strange. In the darkness of that stormy night, we could only faintly make out their shapes as bones; however, now in the brightly lit office, we could finally see clearly. 0

Juan Juan picked up one piece and said, "This should be human bone; however, it seems like the Killer has meticulously processed it. Judging by the craftsmanship involved, it must have taken him a lot of time! Anyone capable of doing this is truly twisted to an extreme degree!" 0

Juan Juan spoke without a hint of falsehood, for the bones had been ground into square, thin slices. Yet, each slice protruded or recessed in certain areas. Moreover, the hues of the bones varied, seemingly dyed by Killer, but overall they were bright colors, which is why they appeared faintly visible in the night. 0

Captain exclaimed in surprise, "Isn't this just like the puzzle my kid plays with?" 0

I nodded, observing that Killer had likely taken a person's bones and processed them into this puzzle-like form. However, there were far too many bone slices here, densely packed together. Anyone with a fear of clusters would probably faint at the sight. 0

Scratching the back of my head, I said, "No matter how long Killer spent on this Human Bone Puzzle, it’s a clue he left for us. Now, we can only piece together this human puzzle." 0

Puzzle games require immense patience and attention to detail. Impatient people simply cannot handle it; someone like Dezi would be completely incapable of this task. Starting from small sections and connecting them densely, it would be a miracle if Dezi didn’t end up stomping on it in frustration. 0

Captain immediately issued orders to split the Puzzle Set into two teams. Those who hadn’t participated in the search during the day would now take over piecing together this puzzle. The rest would rotate out by six in the morning for the next shift, ensuring that we aimed to complete this puzzle within a day. 0

Captain said, "Killer made this puzzle alone, while we have so many people. Don’t worry; you’ve all worked hard today, so make sure to rest well. Facing a Killer like this, I think we’ll have our hands full in the future." He raised his voice to address everyone: "Comrades, make sure to inform your families and prepare for the possibility of overtime." 0

With that, Captain yawned and continued, "If you have mothers at home, let them know; if you have wives, tell them too. And if you have neither—what are you waiting for to earn some money?" 0

A Senior High School Student was kidnapped along with Leggy School Beauty and Busty Third-Tier Celebrity, trapped in an Abandoned Cabin after mistakenly eating Unknown Wild Fruit, feeling feverish in the middle of the night. 0
