Chen Jing doesn't know how to ride a bicycle. When everyone else was learning in their childhood, his parents were too busy arguing and getting divorced to pay any attention to him. After junior high school, he attended boarding schools and never had the need to ride a bike.
Going out to play, Zhou Sui always complains about him, saying he can't ride a shared bike and can only take a taxi.
He thought Zheng Yu was going to teach him, but Zheng Yu just sat on the bike and patted the back seat, saying, "Get on."
Chen Jing not only doesn't know how to ride a bike, but has never even sat on the back seat of one. So when the bike started moving, he got scared and held onto Zheng Yu's waist tightly.
Zheng Yu couldn't help but chuckle, and Chen Jing pinched his waist in annoyance, "You did that on purpose."
Several aunties were chatting downstairs, and they all saw him, which was quite embarrassing.
"Alright, sit down," Zheng Yu stopped teasing him and rode his bike, speeding down the road.
The slightly cool breeze lifted the stray hair in front of her forehead, bringing a hint of refreshing coolness in the hot summer. Chen Jing curiously looked ahead and asked, "Where are you taking me?"
"To sell you off. Are you afraid?"
He couldn't understand Zheng Yu's twisted sense of humor. Is it fun to tease him all day? "Aren't you afraid!!!!"
He was so busy talking to Zheng Yu that he didn't notice the slope ahead. The bike went straight down, and Chen Jing screamed in fear, closing her eyes.
The road finally leveled off, and Zheng Yu laughed and teased him, "Why are you afraid of everything? You're afraid of ghosts and heights."
His heart was still pounding wildly, and Chen Jing explained defiantly, "I'm not afraid of ghosts because they deliberately scare me. I'm not afraid of heights because you suddenly rushed down from a high place."
It's all because of you anyway.
After riding for about twenty minutes, the bicycle stopped by a lake. The scenery here is nice, with newlyweds taking wedding photos around, a few children running around, and a few old men fishing by the lake.
"It's indeed quite suitable for a date," Chen Jing raised an eyebrow and joked, "Are you planning to take wedding photos with me, or are you planning to go fishing?"
"Wait." Zheng Yu took out a large bag from the car, inside of which were folded canvases and some paint.
Chen Jing was somewhat shocked. How did he fit so much stuff in there?
"You can actually paint?" Zheng Yu skillfully put things away and ruffled Chen Jing's hair.
"I learned for a while, but it's been a long time since I painted," said Chen Jing as she pulled Chen Jing to sit on a nearby rock. "I'll paint one for you to hang in the room."
"You're a pervert, hanging me in your room," Chen Jing complained, but she obediently sat still without moving.
Zheng Yu chuckled lightly, took the brush in his hand, and roughly measured, "Hang you in your room."
Chen Jing suddenly felt embarrassed and her ears turned red quietly.
Chen Jing had never modeled before and she stood stiffly, too nervous to move. Zheng Yu said as she painted, "You don't need to be nervous."
"Okay," Chen Jing blinked but didn't move.
"Has your dorm always had three people?" Zheng Yu could only chat with him to distract his attention.
"No, originally Jiang Yuandong was also in this dormitory." Zheng Yu paused slightly at the tip of his pen and looked up at him.
Chen Jing realized that she had spoken too quickly and said the wrong thing, so she quickly explained, "When I reported, I saw the name Jiang Yuandong, and asked the senior to change it. He found out that we were in the same dormitory, and he moved out in less than a week."
"Do you still like him?" Zheng Yu was a little angry. They lived in the same dormitory, so did they see everything?
"I don't like him anymore, I like you," Chen Jing quickly explained.
Zheng Yu was taken aback by his sudden confession and snorted, "That's about right."
The topic passed like this, and finally Zheng Yu put down the paintbrush and said, "Come take a look."
Chen Jing eagerly went over. No one has ever painted a picture for him.
The morning sunlight is nice, shining on the lake, creating sparkling ripples of light. A fresh-looking young man sits on a rock, gazing intently ahead, with a faint smile on his lips.
"Wow! So beautiful," Chen Jing exclaimed in surprise.
Zheng Yu was thrilled in his heart, his painting skills could only be considered amateur, but Chen Jing's praise made him extremely proud.
"Do you like it?"
Chen Jing nodded busily, "Like it."
