Amidst the intense discussion among her classmates, she learned that they had a very important basketball game today, which was being held at the neighboring school. She heard that the opponents were very strong and the game was intense, so she didn't see him on the small balcony in the hallway as usual, enjoying the breeze.
When the school bell rang, Li Xiao didn't rush to leave. She waited until most of her classmates had left before slowly making her way to the staircase, wondering if he would appear.

"No, my injury is fine. I came to return something to you," she said as she unzipped her backpack. Neatly arranged inside were a bag of White Rabbit creamy candies, a row of milk, and two bottles of spray, alongside her books.
He looked at the backpack in front of him without saying a word, but instead scratched his head somewhat embarrassedly, his eyes shining as he looked at Li Xiao.
"Um, I didn't wait for your call, and you didn't mention any compensation, but I felt guilty, so I thought of using candy and milk to express my apology," he explained somewhat confusedly, not knowing if it was because it was the first time he had done something like secretly giving snacks to a girl, or because he had been rejected by her again.
"I've already said it's not because of one person, or maybe I need to prepare something for you as well, otherwise, I'll feel unbalanced too," she said very calmly, as if it should be this way, which was reasonable.
Jiang Yan looked at the girl in front of him. Today, she had her hair tied up in a high ponytail, unlike the day when her hair was loose. Her features were very distinct, and she was wearing a pair of gold-rimmed glasses. She looked very quiet and seemed like a well-behaved girl, but when she spoke, she was very organized, had her own ideas, and had a strong attitude.
"I didn't mean that, but besides sugar and milk, you must accept those two bottles of spray. Otherwise, I'm willing to accept your 'compensation.' Let's just keep compensating each other until your injury is completely healed," she said.
His response caught Li Xiao off guard.
Jiang Yan looked at the girl in front of him in silence for a while. He quietly watched her think and didn't speak until he saw her take out only candy and milk from her backpack, and quietly said to herself, "Thank you." She accepted the two bottles of medicine, and then she saw him smile faintly. He only had one dimple, and when he smiled, his eyes lit up even more, as if there were stars twinkling inside.
