Mo Yanyu took Star's hand with anticipation and a hint of nervousness, walking into the city's swimming pool. Today was their first time attending a parent-child swimming class, and Mo Yanyu hoped that through this experience, Star would not only learn to swim, but more importantly, overcome her fear of water and strengthen the emotional bond between them.
"Uncle Mo, this place is so big!" Star looked up, her eyes shining as she curiously looked around the spacious and bright swimming pool.

Under the coach's guidance, Mo Yanyu first demonstrated the basic swimming strokes, then gently assisted Star in trying them out in the water. Star was initially afraid, but with Mo Yanyu's encouragement, she gradually let go and began to imitate Mo Yanyu's movements, gently paddling her little hands in the water.
"Look, Uncle Mo, I can swim like Lele now!" Star cheered, and her progress brought a proud smile to Mo Yanyu's face.
In order to make the learning process more interesting, the coach also taught them several water games suitable for parent-child interaction. One of the games is "treasure hunting." The coach scattered some colored plastic balls in shallow water and let them search for them like divers.
"Xingxing, let's see who can find the yellow ball first!" Mo Yanyu challenged Xingxing, making the game full of competitive fun.
The stars refused to be outdone, saying, "I will definitely win against Uncle Mo!" She happily dove underwater, her small figure darting through the water. Soon, she emerged with a yellow ball, triumphantly saying, "Look, I found it!"
Through these games, the star not only learned to swim, but more importantly, she learned courage and perseverance. Mo Yanyu nodded and chased the floating ducklings in the water with the stars. Their laughter echoed in the swimming pool, attracting the attention of the surrounding crowd.
As the class ended, Mo Yanyu and the stars walked out of the swimming pool, and the afterglow of the setting sun sprinkled on them, drawing a perfect end to the day. On the way home, the stars excitedly talked about their swimming experience, while Mo Yanyu was filled with contentment and joy.
This parent-child swimming class not only taught Xingxing how to swim, but more importantly, it brought Xingxing and Mo Yanyu closer together. They created an unforgettable memory together, which will become a precious treasure in their hearts.
The gentle evening breeze brushed past, casting elongated shadows of the two under the streetlights, as if carving out their own heartwarming moment in the urban night. Xingxing excitedly held Mo Yanyu's hand, hopping in small steps and recounting their aquatic adventures. Her voice was clear and full of joy, warming Mo Yanyu's heart as well.
After returning home, Mo Yanyu prepared a warm glass of milk for Xingxing, letting her rest on the sofa in the living room, while he began organizing today's photos and videos, preparing to preserve these precious memories. Xingxing curiously leaned over, propping her head with her little hand, her eyes occasionally twinkling with a smile, watching herself on the screen, from her initial timidity to her final bold playfulness.
"Uncle Mo, look, this is me flying!" Xingxing pointed to the small figure laughing in the water on the screen, her eyes filled with pride.
"Yes, today the star was very brave, Uncle Mo is proud of you," Mo Yanyu said gently, with a look of deep affection for the star. In that moment, he once again felt that the relationship between him and the star had far surpassed the typical parent-child bond; they were indispensable parts of each other's lives.
After finishing up, Mo Yanyu suggested, "Star, let's practice the swimming moves we learned today again, so you won't forget."
The soft mats were laid out on the open space of the living room, and Mo Yanyu and Xingxing were about to start a special "swimming lesson."
"Uncle Mo, can we really learn to swim at home?" Xingxing asked curiously, her eyes shining with eagerness for new things.
