As the sunlight penetrated through the tall treetops, the outdoor learning area of the magic academy gradually became lively. Arya and her team, accompanied by Garys, Logan, and Selena, entered the gathering point. Their faces showed signs of fatigue from days of adventure, but their eyes sparkled with a sense of accomplishment.
The academy's teacher, Mr. Magellan, a middle-aged man with a full beard, wearing a loose robe, stood on a large rock, scanning the group of students until his gaze settled on Arya and her team. He raised his wand, calling for everyone's attention, looked around, and revealed a satisfied smile.
"Welcome back, my young adventurers!" Mr. Magellan's voice was loud and infectious, "What kind of journey have you all been through these days, and what precious herbs have you discovered? Now, let's share your harvest."
First, the other five teams presented their results one by one. The first team brought back a few shining ferns and nightshade flowers. Although these two herbs are common, they are quite beneficial in treating night blindness and skin diseases. Mr. Magellan nodded in approval and noted their achievements.
The second team showcased the star moss and moonlight orchids they had worked hard to find. These herbs emitted a faint glow, particularly eye-catching at night. The teacher praised their courage and perseverance, awarding them a good score.
Next was the third team, who proudly presented rare flame fruits and ice crystal vines. These herbs grew in extreme environments and were highly valuable for advanced magical potion research. Mr. Magellan’s eyes lit up, giving them high praise.
The fourth and fifth teams also refused to be outdone, each showcasing the Soul flower and dream herb they found, as well as thunderwood and bouganvillea. These herbs all possess unique magical properties that play a significant role in magical healing and elemental control.
Finally, it was Arya's team's turn. Arya stepped forward and took out a bundle of herbs from her backpack. These herbs shimmered with a strange light in the sunlight, as if containing endless magical power. Garys, Logan, and Selena also presented their harvests, including the extremely rare Shadow Phoenix Flower, Radiant Orchid, Flame Dragon Root, and Icicle Heart.
Mr. Magellan's eyes lit up with a hint of surprise as he carefully examined these herbs, each of which was a rare treasure, especially the Shadow Phoenix Flower and Radiant Orchid, which were peculiar plants that could only grow in special environments. His gaze turned to Arya with a hint of inquiry.
Arya nervously bit her lip and then gathered the courage to say, "We found these herbs deep in the dark forest, and each one is filled with powerful magic. I believe they will greatly aid us in our studies and practices."
Garys added, "During the adventure, we also encountered many challenges, but it is these challenges that have made us more united and have made our magic more proficient."
Logan continued, "Yes, this experience has deeply taught me the harmonious coexistence of Elemental Magic and nature, which has greatly benefited my research."
Selena whispered, "Among these precious herbs, I feel the miracle of life, which will greatly enhance my healing spells."
Mr. Magellan nodded in approval, his gaze sweeping over the four young wizards, then announced, "Your team not only completed the mission, but also exceeded expectations. These precious herbs will bring new research directions and inspiration to the academy. I declare that Arya's team has achieved the highest score!"
Applause and cheers erupted, weaving into a joyful ocean under the sunlight.
Arya and her teammates embraced each other, their faces filled with satisfaction and pride. This adventure not only brought academic achievements but, more importantly, it forged their friendship and team spirit, which would be invaluable wealth in their magical careers.
The next day, as the sunlight sprinkled into the ancient stone-built lecture hall, the students of the magic academy took their seats one after another, looking forward to the special lecture that was about to begin.
The teachers have arranged various magical props and ancient books on the podium in front, in order to delve into the mysteries of Elemental Magic.
Arya, Garys, Logan, and Selena are sitting in the front row, their eyes shimmering with a thirst for unknown knowledge. Mr. Magellan steps onto the podium, clears his throat, and begins his lecture.
"Elemental Magic," the voice of Mr. Magellan echoed in the towering lecture hall, "originates from the most fundamental forces of nature, and it is closely related to our world. Today, we will explore the history of Elemental Magic, its types, and how to connect with these forces."
He waved his wand, and images depicting the development of Elemental Magic appeared in the air, forming vivid scenes. The students watched with rapt attention, especially Arya, who could sense the magic contained within each picture.
Mr. Magellan then went on to explain the characteristics and applications of the four elements: fire, water, wind, and earth, as well as how to use these elements for creative magic.
When he mentioned communicating with and forming contracts with Elemental spirit, Logan's eyes lit up, showing a particular interest in this field.
"Not just learning to use these elements," Logan whispered to Garys beside him, "I want to understand their essence and establish a deeper connection with them."
Garys nodded, sharing similar thoughts, especially regarding his expertise in Dark and Illusion Magic. He always felt that these magics had a mysterious connection to traditional elemental powers.
Next, Selena demonstrated her healing magic, gently waving her wand as a gentle light flowed from its tip, illuminating the entire lecture hall. This light contained powerful life force, making everyone present feel a sense of comfort and peace.
"Healing magic is not just about healing wounds," Selena spoke softly but firmly, "It is also a form of protection, a respect and love for life."
