After speaking these words, Jin Ling looked up at the golden Condemnation Arc less than a foot away from her. Just then, Zhang Chuanhai suddenly surged with Eerie Energy; dozens of Eerie Energy chains surged forth like a black dragon and collided with the descending golden Condemnation Arc. In an instant, the golden Condemnation Arc split into two parts as it descended upon both Zhang Chuanhai and Jin Ling's Ghost Body.
However, it was an uneven split; relying on the Earthbound Spirit level of Eerie Energy's density, Zhang Chuanhai used the chains connected to his Ghost Body to pull over eighty percent of the condemnation onto himself. He bore it for Jin Ling with his own Ghost Body. Perhaps due to Zhang Chuanhai’s intervention, another wave of golden Arc descended again this time heading straight for Zhang Chuanhai himself.

Now unable to move at all, Xiao Yefeng had also suffered greatly; the divided Arc ultimately returned to him after being split into six paths. After storing away the two spirits, Xiao Yefeng took a deep breath, calming himself as he absorbed the Qi in the air to resist the tingling sensation in his cells. Time passed slowly, and Xiao Yefeng's complexion gradually improved. Throughout the night, he maintained a five-heart posture.
