The vault had only one door and two windows, now guarded by two machine guns. The surrounding walls were reinforced against missiles; no one could break through. Time passed slowly; Zhao Gang and Miyuki's hands gripping their guns became soaked with sweat. Liu Entai, who had been continuously defending, finally began to tire. However, even the Geomancer from Huaxia had to admit that the improved variant of the Thunderstorm Talismans from Wa Country was immensely powerful. A wall designed to withstand missiles could not hold back these Thunderstorm Talismans, especially not when two were used at once. At that moment, the four Jonin shared a thought: why hadn’t they used these from the beginning? It would have spared their comrades such a tragic fate.

Its evil-slaying energy surged like a powerful crossbow bolt piercing through clouds, severing one of Gu Huo Niao's forms.
“Half-hearted curse? Liu Entai, do you really intend to keep me here?” Sakai was taken aback; with his Shikigami restrained, he could not leave.
“Keep you? You overestimate yourself! You all stay here!” With that, Liu Entai snapped the Copper Coin Sword in half with his bare hands. The red string binding the coins broke apart inch by inch as twenty-eight coins transformed into a dazzling golden light that scattered outward. The four Jonin pursuing them had no choice but to turn back and defend themselves; however, Liu Entai's desperate strike was not something they could easily fend off.
Apart from Oshima and another Jonin who had perfect defenses, the other two were injured by copper coins. The one who received the most attention, Sakai Tomokazu, suffered greatly; after using a Shikigami as a decoy, his Shikigami was instantly destroyed by Daicheng's sieve, causing it to vanish in an instant. Meanwhile, the last three mid-level Onmyoji behind him fell victim as well, leaving them all behind on Taiyu Island. Aside from the four Jonin and Sakai Tomokazu, everyone sent by Wa Country perished here.
