Xiao Yefeng remarked as he observed the hexagram vanish and the Spirit Servant appear before him.
"Hmph, the Huaxia Sorcerers claim to be authentic, but where is your authenticity? This is the method established by our ancestor, Abe no Seimei of Wa Country. If you have the ability, come and try it!" After a disdainful snort, Sakai Tomokazu shot a disgusted glance at Xiao Yefeng.
Xiao Yefeng was not affected by Sakai's words. He shook his head and said, "All living beings deserve respect, even any animal you intend to kill. The way you abuse the souls of living beings shows that you Wa Country people have truly lost your humanity!"
Spirit Servants are not born this way; they are the failed products of those who raise demons. Many spirits are trapped together and refined through a method of nurturing poison, causing them to devour each other until only one remains—this Spirit Servant. It was evident that this Spirit Servant was a composite of various beings, and Xiao Yefeng couldn't help but admire the imagination of these Wa Country people!
"Weaklings care about humanity!" Sakai said dismissively from behind the Spirit Servant.
"Go, tear them apart!" Sakai Tomokazu then pointed at Xiao Yefeng and the others. The Spirit Servant's arms, resembling saw blades, struck its chest a few times before its thick tail swung towards the leading Xiao Yefeng.
Faced with this grotesque Spirit Servant, Xiao Yefeng couldn't help but grip his sword tightly. He swiftly dodged back and formed hand seals while chanting, "Gathering wind and water, Screened Horse, rise up from the ground!"
In an instant, a refreshing breeze swept through the air, and the sea wind rolled back to blow away half of the Eerie Energy from the Spirit Servant. As the sun gradually rose from behind the clouds over the sea, the Spirit Servant was affected by losing half of its Eerie Energy cover. Its claw strike slowed down by at least thirty percent. At that moment, Xiao Yefeng activated the Carefree Vitality Technique and kicked the Spirit Servant in its lower abdomen, dispersing its Eerie Energy in that area.
However, Xiao Yefeng forgot that this Spirit Servant had a tail! The tail struck the ground, allowing it to stand firmly in place despite being kicked. Enraged by the blow, the Spirit Servant swung its arms wildly; blades whizzed past Xiao Yefeng as massive rocks could not withstand the sweeping attack of its blade-like arms and shattered into rubble. Meanwhile, Oshima's corpse fell beside the Spirit Servant.
"Spirit Servant, eat him!" Sakai pointed at Oshima's body on the ground. The Spirit Servant obediently complied; its massive jaws opened wide as it grabbed Oshima's body and tilted its head back to swallow him whole. This sight shocked Xiao Yefeng immensely. After all, he was just a newcomer relying on ample memory and excellent skills; he had only recently begun to engage in battles between Sorcerers.
Just as Xiao Yefeng was stunned for a moment, beneath the faceless maw of the Spirit Servant appeared a human face—Oshima's face. At that moment, Oshima's expression was bizarre; it seemed to smile without truly smiling, his eyes squinted as if they were merely ordinary patterns.
