Two people, one unconscious and the other at a loss, found themselves on an island in the sea. Aside from the unknown and everything that had happened the previous night, the scenery here was stunning. The azure waters lapped against golden beaches, backed by lush coconut groves, while seagulls occasionally circled overhead. Crabs scuttled back and forth along the shore.
At this moment, Liu Yiyi could only hug her knees and watch Xiao Yefeng. Time had passed for quite a while; the morning sun had transformed into a sunset draped in orange hues. Xiao Yefeng had been moved from the beach to a rocky outcrop by Liu Yiyi, where a rudimentary shelter had been fashioned above him. Large leaves from nearby plants provided some cover, while Liu Yiyi struggled with a military dagger and a pile of easily found dry twigs.
As night approached, Liu Yiyi wanted to light a fire to keep Xiao Yefeng warm. After retrieving an alloy dagger from Xiao Yefeng's Spatial Ring, she searched through the coconut grove and finally found a pile of dry branches. However, starting a fire proved challenging. Liu Yiyi knew how to create fire by friction and understood various methods, but despite her efforts, she could not ignite the dry twigs.
Just as Liu Yiyi was focused on her struggle to start the fire, Xiao Yefeng began to stir awake. He felt utterly weak, as if his body might fall apart. However, the Talisman inscribed on his Symbol Bone was remarkably compact, making a significant difference compared to unmarked bones. At that moment, his palms and soles regained some strength, but his torso remained powerless.
With great effort, he extended his arms to support himself and let out a soft groan as he finally leaned against the rock. Perhaps too absorbed in her task, Liu Yiyi failed to notice Xiao Yefeng's awakening. Like Liu Yiyi, memories of the previous night flooded back to Xiao Yefeng; he calculated that he had kissed her four times.

Startled by the sound, Liu Yiyi looked up in surprise and exclaimed, "Brother Xiao, you're awake!"
She rushed over; they were close enough that her leap landed her directly in Xiao Yefeng's arms. In an instant, he found himself holding an exquisite beauty. The warmth of her presence did little to alleviate the pain behind him; as she collided with him again against the rock wall, it caused another jolt of pain.
In that moment, the scab on his wound broke open once more, blood flowing freely again. Liu Yiyi felt something wet on her fingers as she instinctively pulled them away from his back and was shocked to see blood. Realizing what had happened, she quickly scrambled up and said, "Brother Xiao! I-I didn't mean to!"
Xiao Yefeng grinned through the pain and replied, "It's fine! It's fine! If it weren't for your help last night, I probably wouldn't have recovered so quickly!"
However, when Liu Yiyi moved behind him and saw the extent of his injuries, her eyes filled with tears. The collision hadn't just reopened one scab; it had dislodged another large patch of healing tissue. Now Xiao Yefeng's back was once again bleeding profusely.
Xiao Yefeng's comforting presence accompanied Liu Yiyi's sobs, and finally, when all the bandages in Xiao Yefeng's Spatial Ring were used up, the crisis of secondary injury was resolved.
After tending to the wounds, the two sat beneath the cliff, facing a pile of unlit firewood. Neither dared to meet the other's gaze, and a long silence ensued. Both felt a bit awkward; although last night's events were unavoidable, Liu Yiyi was still a young girl, and Xiao Yefeng was no seasoned rogue in matters of the heart. They found themselves at a loss for words.
Just then, an awkward sound broke the silence—a loud growl from Liu Yiyi's stomach echoed in the stillness of the island. With only the two of them present, Xiao Yefeng looked at Liu Yiyi with a hint of amusement, while she, feeling shy, covered her face with her hands like an ostrich.
Seeing Liu Yiyi's bashful demeanor made Xiao Yefeng chuckle. "How about this? I'll light this fire. I see you've caught a few fish; let's grill some!"
With that, Xiao Yefeng took out an Earth Fire Talisman from his Spatial Ring and drew upon his spiritual energy to activate it. Instantly, the yellow talisman ignited the dry wood, and the flickering flames illuminated their surroundings. Liu Yiyi lowered her hands from her face as the fire blazed to life, revealing two sea fish skewered on sticks above the flames.
At that moment, Xiao Yefeng realized that these fish had clearly been caught by Liu Yiyi using her spiritual power. Even under the Symbol Fire, frost still clung to them. It seemed that circumstances had forced Liu Yiyi to catch food herself.
However, the fish had not been gutted. Although they were well-cooked, one of them had its gallbladder pierced by Liu Yiyi, resulting in a bitter taste. Nevertheless, when Liu Yiyi suggested they share one fish, Xiao Yefeng decided to eat the bitter one. As he put it, he would eat whatever fish Liu Yiyi had worked hard to catch—even if it meant eating it raw.
As night deepened, Xiao Yefeng still hadn't regained his mobility. While his limbs could move somewhat, his entire torso felt like a noodle. He leaned against a flatter part of the rock wall while Liu Yiyi sat beside him. They gazed up at the starry sky in prolonged silence. At that moment, both thought about a shared concern: Xiao Yefeng had initially sought out Liu Yiyi to pass on her team's savings and take care of her.
Now, however, Xiao Yefeng felt he could no longer fulfill Liu Team's request. Liu Yiyi lacked for nothing financially; he had risked his life to help her deal with Yin Jue Vein. It seemed he had lost his reason to stay by her side. Moreover, because of Liu Yiyi's situation, he had yet to embark on his true plan against Perfect World. With Jin Liu Yiyi no longer troubled by Evil Qi, did he still need to remain with her?
At the same time, leaning against the rock wall and gazing at the stars, Liu Yiyi pondered this question as well. But then she wondered: would Brother Xiao think she was a loose girl because of what happened before? Her heart was in turmoil; words couldn't describe how conflicted she felt at that moment. Suddenly, the crackling sound of burning wood broke through her reverie. The unexpected noise startled Liu Yiyi just as Xiao Yefeng turned to look at her. In that instant, their eyes met...
With no colorful phoenix wings to fly together, yet a deep connection in their hearts, at this moment, the two locked eyes. Liu Yiyi tightly pressed her lips together and said, "Brother Xiao, I... I have something to say!"

Thus, the kiss lasted several minutes until they both felt they were running out of air and finally parted. Looking at each other's faces so close together, Xiao Yefeng spoke up, "Yiyi, be my girlfriend! I realize this seems to be the best reason for me to stay by your side!"
His words resonated like a bell, each syllable embedding itself deeply in Liu Yiyi's heart. She hadn't expected Xiao Yefeng to voice what she had been thinking first. Now nestled in his embrace, Liu Yiyi shyly nodded her head.
