Apart from Chen Si's area, there were several other battlefields. A man dressed in a white suit and wearing gold-rimmed glasses was engaged in combat with Li Jun from the Chinese Military Spirit. The man with the gold-rimmed glasses was also in a Half-Beast Transformation state. The man and woman he recognized were former colleagues from Zodiac Mercenaries. The unremarkable-looking man was known as Crippled Monkey from South Korea; he had been picked up by the Constellation Scavenger Team around the same time as Xiao Yefeng. Originally named Park, he had suffered a leg injury during training at age five, earning him his nickname.
The tall woman was known as Wise Fox and was one of the four members known as the Four Foxes from Xiao Yefeng's generation: Wise Fox, Snow Fox, Demon Fox, and Jade Fox! They were among the strongest commanders at that time, with Wise Fox being the leader of the Four Foxes. However, being called the Four Foxes did not mean they were all teammates; on the contrary, Wise Fox and Jade Fox were bitter rivals while Snow Fox and Demon Fox also had their own conflicts.

The Gene Warrior from Chinese Military Spirit was pushed back as these five prepared to retreat; their cooperation stemmed from countless life-and-death situations that forged their synergy.
The five attempted to pursue three times but were suppressed by gunfire each time. The chaotic bullets inadvertently aided Chinese Military Spirit; three bullets struck Shark Killer’s back during his fight with Chen Si. Suddenly attacked from both front and back, Shark Killer found himself at a disadvantage.
With a loud smack resembling a fan slapping against Shark Killer's neck, his spine nearly broke under the force of impact. The violent collision caused Shark Killer to lose consciousness instantly and collapse on the ground. Meanwhile, Venomous Shark on another front also fell victim to stray bullets; shot in the leg and losing balance, he was quickly restrained by two attackers who seized his limbs. Unable to resist any longer, Venomous Shark was knocked unconscious by a swift strike from Chen Si who rushed over.
Afterward, Xiao Yefeng did not see the situation, but facing three enemies, it would be a miracle if Blood Shark could escape from them. The reason Xiao Yefeng did not witness Blood Shark's fate was that he had already pursued Wise Fox's team and left.

After the white man finished speaking, the last member of the group, an Asian man with the largest backpack, chimed in, “No way! If they make us take the blame, how can we handle it? Just dealing with ordinary Gene Serum is tough enough; those Enhanced Gene Serums are a nightmare in terms of cost!”
Wise Fox understood his teammates' complaints but replied firmly, “Alright, we won’t take the blame. His sudden halt startled the others, but Crippled Monkey quickly reacted by drawing his Sniper Rifle and scanning their surroundings. In this team, Crippled Monkey acted as the vice-captain.
Crippled Monkey's posture surprised the other three. Although they had questions, they instinctively raised their weapons for defense. The Black man almost instantly set up his nine-barrel machine gun and glared around them while positioning himself to protect Wise Fox.
“Clap! Clap! Clap!” A series of applause echoed from a dark corner ahead.
At that moment, Crippled Monkey shouted, “Who’s there?”
In an instant, a series of whistling sounds from hidden projectiles filled the air. The four of them possessed night vision capabilities and saw Flying Needles approaching. Instinctively, they aimed their guns to defend themselves. Then came a series of metallic clinks as Crippled Monkey and his companions felt a jolt in their hands; a Steel Needle had lodged itself on their triggers, blocking the critical mechanism needed to fire.
Seeing the Flying Needle stuck on his Sniper Rifle, Crippled Monkey exclaimed in surprise, “This! This needle! Could it be…?” Just then, Wise Fox—protected in the center—bent down and pulled out the Flying Needle embedded in the ground. It turned out that Wise Fox hadn’t set his foot down earlier; at that very moment before landing, he had spotted the Flying Needle on the ground and had retracted his step instead.
“Wasp Sting? It’s been a while, Bee Instructor!” The wise eyes of Wise Fox flashed with surprise, quickly followed by a glint of cunning.
“Is he really a madman? How did he end up here?” Crippled Monkey exclaimed in shock. The other three, though unaware of the reason behind the astonishment of these two, could tell from their expressions that they had encountered a formidable opponent.
At that moment, from the shadows emerged Xiao Yefeng, carrying a machine gun on his back. He casually walked out without using it, and as he walked, he remarked, “Not bad! In an unaware situation, the reaction time of the new and old team members was just over a second. The firepower suppression from the Machine Gunner with his nine-barreled machine gun was about a second and a half—quite impressive!”
