The Capricorn Palace Master received the order and rushed towards the Underground Base at lightning speed. Meanwhile, a team of six had come to a halt upon hearing a roar. The two leaders supported each other, their faces pale as snow, fingers trembling around their staffs. These two were the Wind and Thunder Envoys. Following them were a man and a woman, each carrying two monsters on their shoulders—none other than Sophia and her companion, who had infiltrated the base to rescue Xiao Yefeng.
"It seems that blow didn't kill him!" the Wind Envoy said, his cracked lips parting.
The Thunder Envoy shook his head. "It's my fault for making you expend your elemental essence to help. But even if that old guy doesn't die, he should be in pain." He glanced at the two "monsters" being carried behind them.
"We can't delay any longer; we can't be sure that the one coming to rescue us won't pursue us. Xian, Sophia, let's move!" With that, all four nodded in agreement. The staff in Biaoqing's hand flickered with a brief light before they were enveloped in a gentle breeze, leaving as swiftly as the Capricorn Palace Master.
The rescue team managed to escape successfully, but the Capricorn Palace Master had already arrived at the Underground Base. He watched as the humanoid poison beast rampaged through the base. The Capricorn Palace Master had saved over a dozen surviving members from the Virgin constellation, including those from the Tiger Shark Team, who were bound by specially crafted handcuffs.
By this time, more than ten minutes had passed, yet the frenzied Virgo Palace Master showed no signs of exhaustion. Observing this situation, the Capricorn Palace Master scratched his head and asked, "How long can your palace master maintain this state?"
Among the Zodiac, the Virgo Palace Master was known for being feminine and ruthless, least favored among teammates. However, the Capricorn Palace Master was genuinely kind-hearted, having just saved these individuals from their own palace master. After glancing at the Capricorn Palace Master, Athena nodded and looked at her companion, Sigaeo. She then declared, "Activate Beastification!"
With that command, golden scales and dark brown fur appeared on both of them. Sigaeo transformed into a two-meter-tall bear and grabbed onto the wrist of the Virgo Palace Master.
However, as poison gas entered his body, Sigaeo immediately felt his strength waning. Just then, Nana moved; a pale yellow aura enveloped both her and Sigaeo. As soon as he was surrounded by this yellow gas, he felt the poison being expelled from his body. Having worked together for years, they coordinated perfectly—Sigaeo stomped his feet and lifted the Virgo Palace Master, slamming him heavily into the ground.
"Poof!" A spray of purplish-red blood erupted, yet the Virgo Palace Master remained unfazed. With a flourish of his fingers, he attacked the nearby team members. Just as his poisonous claws were about to tear into one person's throat, the Virgo Palace Master froze mid-air like a marionette, his blood-red eyes spinning wildly, mirroring the stillness of the birds around him.
"Haah~" Heavy breaths escaped from the group. At this moment, Sigaeo and Athena had also dispelled their Beastification. However, Sigaeo was clearly exhausted, having discarded his heavy gear to others.
"Thanks to your poison, big sister, we managed to counter Old Pervert's toxins with poison against poison. But the side effects of this toxin are too strong; it's really tough on my three-hundred-pound frame!" As his words fell, a flare shot up from the treetops in the distance. Then Zhebie, carrying a long Sniper Rifle, rushed over. Zhebie looked just as he did years ago, with countless braids adorned with various gems. Upon closer inspection, his Sniper Rifle was also emitting a faint glow.
"Yun Jian, it's been a while! The last time you covered for one of our teams, I still haven't thanked you!" Capricorn Palace Master smiled upon seeing Zhebie approaching.

Zhebie was quite straightforward; seeing his teammates captured had made him impatient. Now that they were all freed, he had no interest in chatting with Capricorn Palace Master.
Capricorn Palace Master didn't mind at all; after a hearty laugh, he directed everyone to clean up what remained intact and gather any necessary documents. Just then, a helicopter hovered above the base. A burly white man dressed in a light blue leather jacket and large sunglasses jumped directly down from the helicopter, landing outside the main gate from a height of over ten meters.
With a loud thud, he landed heavily on the ground, creating two deep craters in the not-so-soft earth. In the Underground Base below, Capricorn Palace Master and the three members of Tiger Shark Team looked towards the entrance; all four were elite users of Gene Serum and sensed this person's presence immediately upon landing.
"Sigaeo whispered, 'That person is very strong!'

"It was definitely Brother Feng. Just now, he and another person were rescued by two natives. It was too far to see clearly, but they should have been unconscious, and Brother Feng was still in Beastification state!" Zhebie replied. It turned out that the rescue operation by the Wind and Thunder Envoys and Sophia was under his watch.
Hearing Zhebie's account, the two nodded. Although this operation couldn't be considered a success, it wasn't a failure either, as Xiao Yefeng and Consort Mi had been rescued. Just as the Tiger Shark Team was organizing their materials, a wild roar echoed from the laboratory. The three exchanged glances and said in unison, "Not good, Old Pervert has broken free!"
At the same time, in a private room of the Underground Base, Capricorn and Yin-Yang Fish were searching around. Various potions were neatly arranged on different shelves, yet the two paid no attention to these potions and only searched hidden compartments.
"How could this happen? How is it possible that the potion Old Virgin was responsible for isn't in the password box given by Star Master?" Pisces Palace Master exclaimed, staring at the empty safe in his hands.
Just at that moment of surprise, they heard the roar, and their expressions changed as they rushed toward the laboratory, having guessed the location of that potion.
In the laboratory, their speculation was spot on. The Virgo Palace Master, bound within the lab, had regained his freedom. His colorful scales had lost all luster, dull and gray like a beast nearing decay. However, just as the three reached the entrance, they witnessed a shocking scene.
For some reason, Virgo Palace Master's once jet-black hair had turned completely gray. His dull scales were on the verge of cracking. At that moment, he was gripping one of Virgin's subordinates tightly and continuously draining his blood. The sound of blood being gulped echoed through the basement.
Perhaps having drained this subordinate's blood completely, Virgin Palace Master tossed him aside. The visible speed at which his skin regained elasticity was alarming. Yet instead of attacking the group at the door, he chose to charge toward the experimental platform.
With a hissing sound of corroding metal, a large pit formed on the platform from the purplish-red blood he spat out. A hidden compartment beneath the table appeared before Virgin Palace Master's eyes. His blood-red pupils relaxed slightly upon seeing it as he extended his claws toward the compartment. Just then, two furious roars came from outside the door.
