"How is it? How well did you complete the task assigned by our superiors?" one of the three—a middle-aged man with a briefcase, gold-rimmed glasses, slicked-back hair, and dressed in a sharp suit—asked.
"Special Envoy! The mission was very successful. Utilizing this pharmaceutical company's legitimate means, we have completed eighty percent of our research. As long as we combine it with the potion you brought this time and achieve successful experiments, then our mission will be one hundred percent complete!" replied a plump man with a six-foot waistline, nodding eagerly.
Taking a glance at the man, the middle-aged individual adjusted his glasses and said, "The items I provided you were meant for your research on the precious medicines combined with potions. You'd better be honest with me. If the plan fails because of byproducts, you know what will happen next!"
"Yes, yes! My subordinate has already sent his son to personally guard the precious Slave Oil that has been refined. I believe there won't be any issues!" The fat man wiped the sweat from his forehead.
Casting a disdainful look at the fat man, the short man retorted, "Your son? Have you even considered what your son has done? A few months ago, at the graduation ceremony of Hangzhou Medical College, your son actually used Slave Oil to ambush Xiao Yefeng!
