They were human, yet not entirely so, for these beings were all peculiar in shape. Overall, they still resembled humans, but each of the eleven creatures possessed its own unique characteristics. Some had wings sprouting from their backs, others sported massive horns atop their heads, some had fish tails like mermaids, and a few were twitching continuously, yet their faces showed no signs of pain. 0

The appearance of Master caused all of them to abruptly halt their movements. Without saying a word, Master carried Jack toward the crowd and declared, "Save him! I need the map memory in his mind!" 0

"Yes! Master!" replied a man in a white lab coat. 0

"What is the status of capturing The Twelfth Experiment Subject?" Master inquired. 0

A man with exceptionally thick arms stepped forward and said, "Master! Consort Mi has removed the positioning chip embedded in her spine, and for some reason, she also found the locator hidden within her bones. We have completely lost track of Consort Mi!" 0

"Find her! And bring those four fellows to me; see if they are alive. If they are not dead, send them to my room!" With that, Master vanished from sight, while the responding man turned and headed down the stairs. 0

After descending more than ten floors and changing into a specially designed outfit, the man opened a door. Instantly, a tremendous pressure and heat surged against his clothing, causing it to creak. He crawled into the room on all fours as the red stone walls radiated intense heat and the immense pressure of the deep sea threatened to burst his lungs. 0

In the downward-curving passageway, four figures were entangled beneath massive iron chains. All four wore breathing apparatuses to avoid suffocation; however, they were tormented by the overwhelming pressure and heat. The first two were leading; they had already lost the strength to struggle and floated helplessly in place. The other two sat cross-legged on a rock, desperately trying to suppress their physical torment. 0

Upon seeing the newcomer, one of those sitting stood up and asked, "What? Have you come to rescue us?" 0

"Four Young Masters! Master commands that you immediately proceed to his side. Those who can go will live; those who cannot will die!" The man's words were not as smooth as those of the one burdened by chains; he stuttered slightly. Upon hearing this, the seated individual clenched his hands and immediately shattered the chains binding him like a fish darting toward an exit. The standing man also broke free from his chains and left. 0

At this moment, only two remained—unable to struggle and drifting in place: Mie with his bald head and Lu Zhan. Upon hearing the man's words, they felt as if they had taken a stimulant; an inexplicable surge of strength coursed through them. In their dire state, they unleashed boundless potential and shattered their chains before moving toward the exit at a pace nearly as fast as that of the messenger. 0

Leaving aside those who had already departed, Mie and Lu Zhan followed closely behind the messenger as they exited the room. After closing the door to isolate themselves from the surrounding seawater, Mie and Lu Zhan dared not rest; they rushed toward the staircase after freeing themselves from their chains. 0

The messenger watched as they disappeared from view and couldn't help but reflect, "Even the weakest of Four Young Masters is far stronger than us. Without this gear, I wouldn't last a minute in this hellish prison!" 0

No matter how the messenger arrived, Du and Mie reached Master’s room one after the other. At that moment, the masked deity and the figure wearing a conical hat were already waiting inside. Upon seeing the two, Master nodded and asked, "How do you feel?" 0

"Master, I sense that everything we gained from this journey has solidified. Thank you, Master!" The masked deity slightly bowed but did not kneel like the other three. 0

"Very good! The mission to retrieve the Dragon Balls has failed, and I should have stripped you four of your powers. However, you are my four favorite children, so I will let this matter slide. Now we have a complete map of the outer area; Deity, take the map and explore the environment outside the Prehistoric Ruins." 0

"Pao, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of the potions. Make sure to complete the research as soon as possible." 0

"Mie and Du, you two are in charge of gathering personnel for the experiments. You must finish your tasks before Qi dissipates!" 0

With those four commands issued, Master vanished into the darkness, and the four exchanged glances before departing. 0

Meanwhile, in Perfect World, the Four Young Masters were each engaged in their respective missions. On the other side in Huaxia, the Metaphysics Society was in an uproar due to Xiao Yefeng's recent revelations. Xiao Yefeng shared all the information he had received from Cheap Brother with everyone. It turned out that Cheap Brother was a figure similar to an Inspector from a Low-Level Plane, and his surname was Bai; he did not reveal his full name to Xiao Yefeng. 0

At this point, Xiao Yefeng finally grasped some truths hidden behind history and even time itself. This truth was quite shocking and difficult for him to accept: Earth was merely a backup gathering place for slaves allowed to develop freely. 0

What about this Cheap Brother? He was indeed Inspector Bai! He hailed from a Low-Level Plane, and Master of Perfect World was also connected to forces from this Dimension. Current human speculation and research were correct; the Galaxy System was merely a small component of the vast universe. Humanity's ability to pilot spacecraft for exploration seemed powerful, but in terms of Dimension classification, it was just a Low-Level Dimension. 0

Technological Civilization represented Earth's strongest force and was key to determining Earth's Dimension level. If there were a technological power capable of distorting space, then Earth could ascend to an Intermediate Plane level. 0

However, given today's technological standards on Earth, that notion was far-fetched. For now, let's consider what kind of Dimension views Earth as a gathering place for slaves to develop freely. 0

Brother Bai's message before leaving made it clear that they came from a Dimension known as the Immortal Realm—essentially Huaxia's Transcendence—where beings could ride Flying Swords and reside in celestial abodes above thirty-three layers. However, these so-called immortals were just ordinary people in that Dimension. 0

Of course, this ordinary status could not be compared with ordinary people on Earth. Where there are people, there is war; where there is war, there is a need for resources. People and materials constitute resources. Just like Earth, the Immortal Realm had numerous factions; however, these factions were enormous and nearly as powerful as giants. The constant struggle among these factions required cannon fodder, yet they did not have enough of it at their disposal. 0

Thus, these forces began to explore the countless Dimensions within the universe, seeking various life forms to serve as cannon fodder. Unfortunately, the Blue Star, also known as Earth, located in the Galaxy System, was discovered by a powerful faction from the Immortal Realm. This faction was led by the master of the Nine-Tiered Demon Tower, who utilized Pangu to seal away his subordinates. This organization was simply named "Shu." 0

The name itself is straightforward, yet according to Brother Bai's brief descriptions, Shu held a status in their Dimension akin to that of an emperor in a Feudal Dynasty. No one could clearly determine whether Shu represented justice or evil, for with absolute power, the concepts of right and wrong became shackles of the past. Where there is an Immortal Realm, there is also a Demon Realm; as the leader of the Immortal Realm, Shu naturally bore the responsibility of confronting the Demon Realm. 0

Consequently, Shu had a significant demand for Low-Level Dimensions, and Blue Star—Earth—was identified as a reserve gathering place for cannon fodder. Naturally, being a concentration camp for cannon fodder came with its obligations. As recorded in Dao Wine, there are countless Dimensions in the vast universe; however, within the Galaxy System, only one planet harbored life: Earth. 0

Initially, the exotic beasts on Earth were treasures in themselves. Thus, Shu sent people to slay these beasts and left behind teachings that formed the first generation of deities. However, according to Brother Bai's records, not long after, a great war broke out between the Immortal and Demon Realms. All humans on Earth were drawn into battle and ultimately perished, leading to Earth once again losing all signs of life. Yet Shu, who had originally given up on Earth, discovered that this miraculous land had spontaneously evolved a new batch of life. 0

This new batch of life did not resemble humans but consisted of various powerful beasts with tails. These beasts were similar to those slain by Shu's people long ago; however, these newly emerged beasts possessed intelligent minds. This era was known as the Dinosaur Civilization. 0

The rapidly developing Dinosaur Civilization birthed countless powerful Dinosaur Warriors. With this newfound strength, Shu successfully suppressed the Demon Realm. Of course, the credit was not solely due to the Dinosaur Warriors; it was because of this great war that the age of dinosaurs came to an end and Earth entered an Ice Age. Subsequently, several powerful eras emerged on Earth but were all extinguished due to conflicts with Shu and the Demon Realm. 0

It was precisely because of the frequent recruitment from the Immortal Realm that Earth's Spirit Barrier shattered. At this moment, everyone realized that this shattering was indeed caused by this! Xiao Yefeng also came to understand; he had always suspected that no matter how strong humanity became, it could not have shattered Earth's Spirit Barrier. The true culprit was none other than Shu from this Low-Level Plane. 0

The only thing that remained unchanged in Dao Wine's records was the end of the Atlantis era. This era nearly paved the way for upgrading Earth to an Intermediate Plane through its advanced Mechanical Civilization. However, fate took a turn when people from this era discovered Prehistoric Ruins—coordinates left by Shu on Earth—leading to an inflated sense of confidence brought about by their immense power. 0

The people of Atlantis gathered sacred artifacts to unlock these ruins while simultaneously summoning Shu during a time of peace. The extraordinary life force born from Earth had already caught Shu's attention; previous slaves born from Earth had proven to be excellent war machines. How could Shu allow Earth to successfully enter the Intermediate Plane? After all, entering the Intermediate Plane would mean they could no longer be recruited as slaves for battle. 0

Thus, at the moment Atlantis activated its altar, the repaired Spirit Barrier rebounded and brought about the end of the Atlantis era! This led to what would later be known as the Cultivation Civilization. However, as Qi dissipated over time, Cultivation Civilization was replaced by Technological Civilization—this current period we now inhabit. 0
