At that moment, the Master abandoned Jiang Xing and others in front of him and turned to engage Xiao Yefeng instead. Jiang Xing managed to escape and shouted: "Return to Huaxia immediately; Perfect World has explosives!"
"Where do you think you're going? Hold them back!" At this moment, Beast Elder shed his earlier weakness and somehow produced a white bone staff. Just then, familiar sounds reached him; turning around in surprise, he saw dozens of giant Bats approaching the Recruitment Platform. Upon seeing those familiar Bats, Abel exclaimed: "Not good! They have an ambush too!"
Yet everything was so unpredictable. Just after being severely injured by Xiao Yefeng and with Rose Twin Swords barely protecting him from death by providing a last bit of Qi, how could he withstand Luna's attack?
As he uttered his last word, pale hands gripped his throat with fingers piercing into his neck. Drops of golden liquid were absorbed by her fingertips. This person was Luna, dressed in a purple-red noble robe; having absorbed Abel's blood at this moment meant she finally possessed pure vampire royal blood!
"Help Huaxia eliminate these Specters!" Luna commanded as Bats hovering in mid-air descended one after another into pure-blooded noble men and women with white skin. Just when victory seemed almost within reach for Xiao Yefeng, suddenly a crimson firework erupted from the military ship that brought them here. The Master chuckled: "Hahaha! You have lost!"
"Arrogant! After a few more rounds you will fall before me!" Xiao Yefeng shouted as he lunged forward with his sword! However, at that moment black energy coalesced around the Master; Xiao Yefeng braced himself with his sword to defend against it when suddenly black energy exploded violently. All members belonging to Perfect World vanished from the Recruitment Platform only to reappear back on their military ship while Xiao Yefeng glared furiously at them.
As Xiao Yefeng stepped onto the Xun Character Technique, a massive three-dimensional projection platform rose on the warship. At that moment, Master showed no concern for the losses incurred during this mission, not even for the loss of the powerful Abel. He said, "You and I speak boldly! Heh heh, take a look at this!"
A scene appeared on the projection screen: a man standing with his back to the audience was facing a group of men, women, and children. In front of this group lay two figures, the White-Haired Elders, sprawled in pools of blood, which caused Xiao Yefeng and the others to halt in their tracks.
"Old Cao! Old Li!" Jiang Xing kicked away the Ultimate Warrior that had entangled him and exclaimed angrily.
"Haha, do you recognize this place? Do you recognize these people?" Master asked.
"You! How could you so easily infiltrate the Metaphysics Society!" Xiao Yefeng gripped his Yin-Yang Sword tightly, his knuckles cracking. This was indeed where the Metaphysics Society had placed the families of everyone involved; it was one of the most secretive locations in Huaxia, protected by countless defenses and guarded by Cao Man and Li Xiangjun. Even if they brought ten times as many people, it would be impossible to breach it in such a short time!
Just as Xiao Yefeng was about to ask another question, the man in the projection turned around. At that moment, Xiao Yefeng saw the surprised expressions on his wife and children's faces, along with confusion on others' faces. They showed no signs of tension; instead, they seemed puzzled! Meanwhile, on the other side of the screen, the Masked Man pointed at Consort Mi and the others and asked, "Do you know who you are?"
A shocking response came from everyone present: "Xiao Yefeng!"
At those words, Xiao Yefeng nearly dropped his Yin-Yang Sword in shock. He exclaimed, "What is going on? How can he be me!"
As soon as Xiao Yefeng finished speaking, Liu Yiyi said, "Brother Feng! He is you—there's no trickery involved! The only difference is your aura! Just an hour after you left, we saw you return alone on surveillance. Old Cao and Old Li asked why you came back, but then you suddenly attacked them both and knocked them down!"
"He looks just like me?" Xiao Yefeng pointed his sword at the Masked Man.
