To his astonishment, a Purple Gold Ring appeared on his right middle finger, seemingly out of nowhere. As soon as the ring touched the barrier, a hole large enough for a person opened up. Xiao Yefeng dragged Elder Yuqing through the opening just as it vanished, along with them. Meanwhile, the Teleportation Talisman in the Beast Elder's hand erupted with Azure Light.
In that instant, it turned to ashes. The Beast Elder stared in shock at the still-present Xiao Wenxin. At the same time, the demon spear surged forward, creating a slight fissure. Suddenly, one person darted into that crack just before it closed up. In that moment, a roar echoed from another end as the Dragon Phoenix Pearl unleashed an explosive wave. Countless chaotic dimensional energies surged into the passage, tearing it apart. In that instant, Xiao Wenxin, the Beast Elder, and the passage itself were shredded by the dimensional turbulence!
On another front, taking advantage of the shattered Higher Dimension Passage, the God of Sorcery let out a mournful cry and collapsed to the ground, clutching his head. In the distance, reinforcements from the divine realm were arriving. Night and Wu Kui sensed trouble and immediately fled from their location. Their mission had concluded perfectly; the God of Sorcery lost control over Earth while the divine realm lost one of its Five Elements Chaos Bodies—the Blood Sacrifice Banner!
This loss stripped them of their most crucial military enhancement power and ended years of manipulation by the God of Sorcery over Earth! However, what seemed like a joyous conclusion concealed a troubling issue that weighed heavily on Xiao Yefeng's mind.
Just as Xiao Yefeng forcibly returned through the Dimension Gate with Elder Yuqing to the Recruitment Platform, he spotted a dark figure emerging from a stormy black cloud over the sea on the other side of the Recruitment Platform. As it departed, a voice filled with rage echoed in everyone's ears.
“Xiao Yefeng, I will not let you go! The vengeance for my father is shared between us!”
The dark light flickered and vanished. Just as Xiao Yefeng steadied himself while holding onto Elder Yuqing, blood spewed from both their mouths as they forcefully activated the Purple Gold Ring's power to tear open the Higher Dimension Passage—bringing someone along with them. In that split second, Xiao Yefeng's body nearly shattered under immense pressure. Just as he regained his footing, he heard that familiar voice; it was Xiao Yeshin.
Could it be that those left behind were not Xiao Yeshin? This thought struck Xiao Yefeng suddenly and solidified quickly in his mind. Earlier within the Higher Dimension Passage, Xiao Wenxin had not been affected by the Heart Demon; his final explosion was not aimed at attacking but rather to ensure Xiao Yeshin could escape from the impending destruction of the Higher Dimension Passage!
The last mysterious Final Warrior hidden in darkness was none other than Xiao Yeshin! With this realization came clarity: Xiao Yefeng and Xiao Wenxin had been scheming against each other all along. Xiao Wenxin had concealed Xiao Yeshin’s existence with plans to use him as a trump card during their final battle. However, he did not anticipate that Xiao Yefeng would wield the Dragon Phoenix Pearl and forcefully destroy the passage in front of everyone!
As a result, when possessed by the Heart Demon, Xiao Wenxin intended to take down both himself and Xiao Yefeng but was caught off guard by Beast Elder’s betrayal. This allowed Xiao Wenxin to reclaim his body while using the accumulated power of the Heart Demon to tear apart the entrance of Higher Dimension Passage and grant his son an escape route!
With everything now making sense, Xiao Yefeng pondered how such immense power could have interrupted his own attempt to tear open Higher Dimension Passage when Xiao Wenxin chose to forgo that opportunity—for Xiao Yeshin!
At that moment, Xiao Wenxin died in the Higher Dimension Passage, while Xiao Yeshin managed to escape. With the help of the Advanced Dimension Demon Realm, the crisis threatening Earth was surprisingly resolved!
"Major Xiao! Senior Yuqing!" The warship approached Han Duhuo, and Long Dao Yi and others jumped onto the Recruitment Platform. Their words were filled with the emotions of having just survived a near-death experience. Just as Xiao Yefeng was about to inquire about the rescue operation, the Recruitment Platform suddenly shook violently. A crack emitting black light appeared beneath it, and Xiao Yefeng felt a chill run down his spine.
"Not good! The Higher Dimension Passage is destroyed; the Recruitment Platform is going to fall into the void! Move quickly!" The warship was too large to turn quickly. Fortunately, there weren't many soldiers on board, and everything was expendable. Under Xiao Yefeng's command, all soldiers abandoned the warship and boarded speedboats to escape. Xiao Yefeng and the others took the last speedboat leaving the Recruitment Platform, just as a dimensional collapse began to occur.
The warship was immobilized by the gravitational pull, and their speedboat, being the last one, was also caught in the chaotic currents of the dimensional collapse. Han Duhuo floored the throttle, but aside from the roar of the engine, they continued to drift backward.
"We can't get away!" Han Duhuo exclaimed.
"I'll handle it!" Xiao Yefeng shouted angrily. He threw down the Bagua Mirror, which enveloped the speedboat in Azure Light, instantly reducing the backward pull by more than half. At that moment, a sound resonated from Xiao Yefeng's right fist—Dragon Roar, Qilin Cry. He swung his fist forward, unleashing a beast that charged toward the warship, which was already half-consumed by the collapsing space. This creature, with four legs formed from Inspiration, Golden Scales, a Dragon Tail, and a Qilin Head, pierced through the warship with a thunderous explosion. The warship shattered into pieces while the speedboat used the force of the explosion to break free from the Recruitment Platform's range!
The speedboat sped away and finally left the dangerous waters. Once they felt no more pull or danger, everyone turned back to look. To their astonishment, a massive pit had formed in the sea near the Recruitment Platform. It was hard to imagine what it meant for there to be such a large pit on the ocean's surface; yet here it was before them. The powerful suction had drawn all nearby seawater away, and its rate of absorption exceeded that of water filling in.
A gigantic deep pit appeared before everyone, at its center lay a pitch-black crack that had swallowed up the Recruitment Platform, consumed the warship, and devoured everything in its vicinity!
The power of dimensional laws was unparalleled; this crack was quickly repaired. Gradually dissipating, it allowed seawater to fill in the deep pit once more. Soon enough, tranquility returned to the ocean's surface; the Recruitment Platform had vanished along with so much seawater—but for such an expansive sea, it hardly mattered!
