It appeared to be an ordinary plastic bag, but someone saw something suspicious within it. 0

A 25-year-old young woman, fair-skinned and beautiful with an impressive figure, was found naked and discarded beneath the Expressway Bridge. 0

Strangely enough, aside from the two layers of plastic bags covering the victim's head, there were no other traces or clues at the scene. 0

Yet, you would never guess that the key to solving the case lay in the favor of the weather. 0

Time: February 6, 2009. 0

Location: Shandong Province, Yantai City, Xixia City. 0

That morning, a villager was leisurely practicing his driving skills on an empty lot near his home. 0

Suddenly, he spotted something white in the rearview mirror. Upon closer inspection, he realized it was a completely naked corpse. He immediately called for emergency assistance. 0

After receiving the report, the Xixia City police quickly arrived at the crime scene. 0

The location was beside a small river, with the Tong San Expressway above and a large apple orchard nearby. It was a remote area that rarely saw visitors. 0

The villager told the officers that at first he thought it might be a drunkard or a fool who had frozen to death, but upon reflection, he realized it was unlikely for anyone to freeze to death while completely naked. 0

Meanwhile, forensic technicians discovered that the victim's head was tightly wrapped in two plastic bags—one black and one white—making it impossible to discern her features. 0

After the forensic examination, the police confirmed that the deceased was a woman, approximately 25 years old. The cause of death was determined to be blunt force trauma to the head, and the time of death was estimated to be during the day on February 5. However, villagers reported that when they passed by the area around 5 PM on February 5, there was no body and nothing unusual. 0

In light of this, the police classified it as a Murder and Body Dumping Case. 0

The primary focus of a Body Dump Case is to identify the source of the body, but none of the nearby villagers recognized the deceased. 0

The victim was completely naked and had no belongings or identifying features. However, technicians assessed that based on her head, face, and hairstyle, she had lived a relatively affluent life. 0

During further investigation, technicians discovered something perplexing: the victim was about 1.7 meters tall and weighed around 50 kilograms, yet there were no suspicious footprints or signs of vehicle passage at the scene. How did the victim end up in this remote wilderness? 0

Just as the police were grappling with this mystery, a drop of blood on a nearby rock caught the technicians' attention. The bloodstain on the rock appeared to have dripped, leading police to speculate whether the body had been thrown from an Expressway Bridge. 0

Soon after, technicians found some friction bloodstains on the bridge's railing. Tests confirmed that these bloodstains matched the victim's blood sample perfectly. Consequently, the police concluded that this bridge was indeed where the body had been disposed of. Further autopsy results indicated that there were clear tire marks on the victim's back. 0

Based on these clues, the police outlined a possible scenario for the Suspect's actions. The Suspect likely killed the victim elsewhere before driving her body to this bridge and throwing it over before fleeing. 0

However, with hundreds of thousands of vehicles traveling on Tong San Expressway daily, and over ten thousand vehicles passing through during the time of the incident, finding a suspect vehicle among them would be like searching for a needle in a haystack. 0

Nevertheless, based on their analysis of the scene, police believed that the Suspect's vehicle should have been traveling in the same direction from South of Qixia. 0

This led them to focus their investigation on the Shandong section of Tong San Expressway, which included areas such as Weifang, Rizhao, Linyi, Qingdao, and Yantai. The Xia City police sent requests for assistance to public security departments in these locations. 0

Days passed without any feedback from those areas. As their search radius widened, hopes of identifying the deceased through missing persons reports dwindled. The Xia City police also entered the victim's fingerprints into their database for comparison but yielded no results. 0

To expedite identification of the body’s source, investigators turned their attention to two plastic bags wrapped around her head. The black plastic bag was an ordinary garbage bag; however, the white plastic bag had distinct features—it bore five characters that read "Every Day is a Good Day," along with a faint phone number printed on it. 0

The phone number belongs to a plastic bag manufacturing company in Rizhao. 0

After investigation, it was found that this type of plastic bag had only produced over 100,000 units, and they were divided into two sizes: 24cm and 26cm, sold respectively to Jiangsu Huai'an and Shandong Qingdao. The plastic bag that wrapped around the victim's head was the 26cm model, which had been sold to Jiangsu Huai'an. 0

With this clue, the police analyzed that the suspect likely disposed of the body between 5 PM on February 5 and 8 AM on February 6. However, it was extremely challenging to investigate over 10,000 vehicles that passed through the crime scene during those 15 hours. 0

In response, the police held multiple case analysis meetings and made bold yet reasonable speculations about the possible escape routes of the suspect after committing the crime. Ultimately, they concluded that after disposing of the body, the suspect would be eager to return to their local area to create an illusion that they could not have committed the crime. 0

With this hypothesis in mind, the police began their investigation. After screening over 7,000 vehicles, they finally noticed a black Hyundai at Qixia North Toll Station. 0

Upon investigation, the police discovered that the owner of the vehicle was in a romantic relationship with the victim. On the morning of the incident, Liu Gang wanted to engage in intimacy with Gao but was rejected. This left Liu Gang feeling displeased, especially since Gao had brought home another man the night before and claimed that he was much better than Liu Gang. 0

As Liu Gang listened to these remarks, his anger grew, and he gradually lost interest in their conversation. They soon got into an argument during which Gao shouted at Liu Gang to pay back money. 0

This was all because Liu Gang was a gambler who had accumulated debts of hundreds of thousands due to gambling and had borrowed 70,000 yuan from Gao's sister-in-law without repaying it. Thus, during their quarrel, Gao demanded repayment from Liu Gang and accused him of being good for nothing except gambling. 0

Gradually, as these words were exchanged, Liu Gang became furious and walked straight to the balcony. He grabbed a hammer and returned to Gao's side, striking her head three times before killing her. He then borrowed a car from Deng and under cover of darkness drove into Xia City in Shandong, where he disposed of Gao's body beneath an expressway bridge. 0

Liu Gang thought he had executed everything flawlessly; however, he did not anticipate that the item covering his license plate would blow off during transit. 0

Thus, this case was successfully solved by the police. 0
