I took a deep breath of the cool air and quickly chased after it.

After I spoke, the Paper Man remained silent, standing still. As I got closer, I suddenly realized that this Paper Man's Soul had no consciousness at all.
I gasped in shock, thinking I had been tricked. But just as I touched the Paper Man, it suddenly grabbed me. I froze for a moment and heard it whisper two words: "Help me..."
After that, the Paper Man let out a horrifying scream, and I watched as its Soul transformed into a Light Spot, which then fell into my eyes.
I stepped back a few paces, looking around at my surroundings. When I turned back, I found nothing there; it was as if all the White Lanterns and Soul Banners had vanished in an instant.
I took a deep breath.
But at that moment, a shadow appeared behind me. I felt a gaze on the back of my head, so I turned around but found nothing there.
Before long, a pair of pale hands rested on my shoulders. I stood frozen for a few seconds before turning around again, only to find nothing at all.
I breathed heavily, my heart racing.
Was that hand a soul? Or a person? The red and white lights here intertwined, and the more I looked, the more my vision became chaotic.

My eyes couldn't see him at that moment, but just then, a Red Lantern fell. When the Red Lantern hit the ground, it was immediately consumed by flames.
The red light radiated outwards as I stared at the lantern, watching it burn from start to finish until it was reduced to ashes. Suddenly, I felt a wave of cold wash over me.
The atmosphere was filled with horror and eeriness, and I felt lost.
Suddenly, a scream pierced through the air behind me. I quickly deduced that it sounded like Jianjian's voice, and I hurriedly ran back.
The lanterns on both sides rushed past my vision.
However, after running for a while, someone suddenly tapped my shoulder from behind. I turned around to find the Soul that had left Ke'er standing there.
