After the battle came to an end, the night brought back the tranquility within the shrine. However, the emotions of Sakura, Night Fox, and Ming Jing remained unsettled. The mysterious identity and unknown intentions of Yueying seemed like an impenetrable mist shrouding their minds.
"Do we really understand Yueying?" Sakura sat by the window, gently playing with a freshly picked cherry blossom, and asked softly.
Night Fox Leaning against the window frame, gazing deeply at the shrine courtyard bathed in moonlight, lost in thought. "His actions are always elusive, but I can sense that his goals are not simple, especially when it comes to me..."

"Has anyone seen anything unusual recently, or noticed any strangers appearing near the village?" Little Sakura asked softly as she handed out her handmade gifts.
An old lady shook her head with a smile, "Oh, Little Sakura, you always care so much about everyone. There's nothing unusual, but I did see a stranger lingering near the village entrance last night."
"Really? Thank you, Grandma. What's so special about that person?" Sakura immediately raised her alertness and noted this important information.
Meanwhile, Night Fox's actions were even more secretive. He delved into the city's night, moving like a shadow through the sparsely lit streets. Every step of his was cautious and silent, to the point that even the night wind seemed unwilling to reveal his presence. Night Fox used his sensitivity to the night to pay attention to every corner that might hide a clue.
In front of an abandoned warehouse, Night Fox stopped in his tracks. His intuition told him that there might be secrets related to the moonlight here. "Something feels off here," Night Fox muttered, then disappeared into the darkness, ready to further investigate.
Meanwhile, Ming Jing sat in front of his computer, his fingers swiftly tapping on the keyboard. His screen flickered with various website and database interfaces as he used his familiarity with technology to try to uncover traces of the moonlight from the depths of the internet.
"Wow, this encryption program is really good, but it still can't stop me." Ming Jing had a smug smile on his face as his fingers worked like magic, cracking the password of an important document that seemed to record recent activities of the Moon Shadow.
The three of them each carried out their own missions and gathered again at the shrine late at night. Sakura shared the information she obtained from the villagers, Night Fox talked about his investigations in the city at night, and Ming Jing also showed the clues he found online to everyone.
Through their collective efforts, a network about the Moon Shadow operation gradually becomes clearer.
Several days later, the three of them gathered after dinner to exchange the information they had gathered. Night Fox spoke first, "From what I've gathered, it seems that Moon Shadow is particularly interested in ancient monster legends, especially those with powerful abilities."

And as these lights gradually connected, pointing to the secret of an ancient ritual and the past closely related to Night Fox, everything seemed to become clear.
"Night Fox, you mentioned before that a part of your power was obtained through some special ritual, right?" asked Sakura cautiously during a group discussion.
Night Fox fell silent for a moment, then nodded. "Yes, it is a ritual related to the moon, but this ritual comes with a very high cost. I never thought someone would want to resurrect it."
"But why is Moon Shadow so interested in this ritual? What does he hope to gain from it?" Ming Jing clenched his fist, his brow furrowed.
Night Fox showed a hint of subtle worry on his face, "If my concerns are true, then he may be seeking to gain extraordinary power through this ritual. And this power could very well threaten the balance of human and demon coexistence."
At that moment, there were no words exchanged between Sakura, Night Fox, and Ming Jing. They all sensed the severity of the situation. If they didn't stop Yueying, the consequences would be unimaginable.
In the days that followed, they redoubled their efforts, delving deep into investigating every move of Yueying, and attempting to find a way to stop the ritual. Just then, Sakura found a passage in the ancient scriptures at the shrine that mentioned a crucial weakness of the ancient ritual.
"This is what we need!" Sakura exclaimed excitedly as she brought the ancient scriptures to Night Fox and Ming Jing. "If we can act before Yueying initiates the ritual, there's a chance we can completely thwart his plans."
Night Fox After carefully reading the contents of the ancient texts, they immediately decided, "We must take action now, there's no time to waste."
So, on a bright moonlit night, they found the location where Moon Shadow was preparing for the ritual. It was a secluded valley with an ancient altar set up in the center. Moon Shadow stood in front of the altar, holding an ancient tome, murmuring something under his breath.
Night Fox, Xiao Sakura, and Ming Jing approached silently, preparing to act according to the instructions in the ancient texts. At that moment, it seemed that the moonlight sensed their arrival, and turned to face them, with an incredible gleam in its eyes.
"You've come at just the right time. I need a few more assistants to complete this ritual," Moonshadow's voice was cold and confident.
"Stop your madness, Moonshadow!" Night Fox stepped forward and sternly exclaimed, "The power you seek will only bring destruction."
Moonlight just sneered and then began to speed up the chanting of the spell. Night Fox, Little Sakura, and Ming Jing immediately took action, following the instructions in the ancient books, launching attacks from all directions towards the altar, attempting to disrupt Moonlight's ritual.
Just as their attacks were about to reach the altar, a powerful energy wave erupted from the center of the altar, completely neutralizing their attacks. However, just when Moonlight thought everything was under his control, Little Sakura gently waved the silver sacrificial knife in her hand, and a soft light shone on the altar, which was the key to stopping the ritual.
The expression on Tsukikage's face changed drastically in an instant. He roared, attempting to launch another attack, but it was already too late. The radiance of Little Sakura had already reached the core of the altar, instantly completely dissolving the energy fluctuations of the entire ritual.
In a dazzling light, Tsukikage's figure gradually dissipated, ultimately turning into nothingness. However, at the last moment of his disappearance, he seemed to regain his calmness and silently said to them, "I will come back again."
