"Jono, I guess we can consider ourselves friends now?" Yan Beiting said as he dropped Jono off at her apartment building, just before parting ways.
Jono neither nodded nor shook her head.

Jin Zhongshu felt as if he had hit a wall of cotton; it was frustrating. He let out a cold snort.
Beside him, Mrs. Melancholy immediately placed her hand on his to comfort him.
"Ayan, it's like this. I've been chatting with a few of your aunts recently. Do you remember Xixi? She just returned from Paris. Let's find a time to have dinner together, what do you think?" Mother's tone was much gentler than Father's.
"Mom, I don't have much time lately. Let's talk about it another time."
"Hmph!" Jin Zhongshu snorted again, causing the more than ten people at the table to immediately put down their chopsticks, no one daring to move again. "Jin Chengyan, if you continue to associate with that Actor, don't ever step into the Jin Family's door again!"
With that, Jin Zhongshu stood up and left.
The people at the table fell silent.
