That night, Jin Chengyan's punches seemed even more ferocious. A-Shan took several solid hits before finally succumbing, leaning against the soft barrier and waving at Jin Chengyan.
Jin Chengyan ripped off his gloves and tossed them aside, accepting a bottle of water from his assistant and gulping down several mouthfuls.
"What's wrong with you today?" A-Shan had sensed something was bothering Jin Chengyan from the very beginning, and it had cost him dearly in the ring.
Jin Chengyan frowned. "Do you think the idea of social status is deeply ingrained in your godfather's mind?"
A-Shan thought for a moment before nodding.
Jin Chengyan shot him a glare.
But that was just how things were. If Jin Zhongshu didn't hold such strong views on social class and didn't look down on Ruan Shengyu's background, perhaps Jin Chengyan would have already brought her into the Jin family.
He had always felt that the obstacle between him and Ruan Shengyu was familial expectations.
"But if a relationship can be hindered by external forces, can it still be called true love?"
Jin Chengyan glanced at A-Shan, unwilling to admit the truth in his words, and coldly replied, "You little brat, what do you know about love? You've never even been in a relationship."

That day, Jin Zhongshu had mentioned Jin Mansion out of the blue. Jono returned from the company today and opened the grand door of Jin Mansion. Just then, she heard a horn honking behind her. Turning around, she saw a Lincoln parked across the street with its window rolled down. Inside sat Jin Zhongshu!
Soon, the two arrived at the residence.
Jono felt a bit flustered and finally asked Jin Zhongshu if he preferred tea or warm water, but then he realized that he was the host here!
"I'm quite used to it." Jono wondered how Jin Zhongshu had suddenly come here, and Jin Chengyan hadn't informed her in advance.
As for Jin Zhongshu, he didn't seem as cold as the rumors suggested. He appeared to be just like Jono's father—a middle-aged man with a touch of gray at his temples, who could still show a smile when interacting with younger people.
"Mr. Jin, please don't misunderstand. I am staying here solely because of your kindness, knowing that I had nowhere else to go. Once I find a place to live, I will move out. You truly are a good person." Without any rehearsed lines, Jono felt uneasy saying this.
Jin Zhongshu chuckled lightly. "Ayan is a good person."
A chill ran down Jono's back.
"So what do you think of the Jin Family?"
