“Ni Yue, have you lost your mind bringing Jono here?” Ruan Shengyu instinctively felt that something was wrong when she saw Jono tied to the chair.
Seeing Ruan Shengyu's panicked expression, Ni Yue felt a sense of satisfaction.
She took out her phone and played back the recordings of every conversation she had with Ruan Shengyu.

Of course, the old man from the Ni Family had turned against Ni Yue and kicked her out. This woman was now in desperate need of money!

To Jono’s surprise, Ni Yue laughed. “Ruan Shengyu, aren’t you being a bit too ruthless? Jono has no enmity with you; why do you want to go after her?”
"Is Ni Yue really speaking up for Jono now? I can't believe it!"
"Aren't you scheming against Jono as well? Otherwise, I wouldn't have fallen into your hands!"
Ni Yue nodded, indicating that the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Now she and Ruan Shengyu were in the same camp?
"Then give me two hundred million. One hundred million as a hush fee, and the other one hundred million to help you deal with Jono's labor costs!"

Jono's mind exploded with confusion.
It was Jono who had asked A-Shan to bring Ni Yue over that day.
She had said she would handle the first half, while Jin Chengyan would take care of the second half.
Jono thought that once Jin Chengyan dealt with Ni Yue, everything would be over. But Ni Yue had been forced?
Ruan Shengyu paused for a moment. Jin Chengyan had indeed said that no one should bully Ruan Shengyu. He had taught Jono a lesson in his own way, but once he discovered the true culprit, he would definitely retaliate against Ni Yue.

"Ni Yue, I..." Jono called out her name, never expecting things to turn out this way.

At that moment, another man walked in from behind the door!
Ruan Shengyu's face turned frantic upon seeing him.
The man wore a black suit, his buzz cut accentuating a fierce face twisted into a sadistic smile.
"Big star, do you remember me?" Zhang Long said, his hands tucked into his pockets as he approached Ruan Shengyu step by step.
Jono felt a wave of disgust wash over her as she watched the man.
"Ni Yue, what do you want? Just let me go! I'll give you any amount of money you want, just let me go!" Ruan Shengyu was thrashing in her chair like a madwoman, but someone had her firmly pinned down.
Suddenly, Jono recalled the newspaper Xining had shown her earlier. There was a picture of that small-time thug, and this man seemed to be one of them.
Although the newspaper obscured Ruan Shengyu's identity, Jono knew that the person back then was indeed Ruan Shengyu. It made sense why she was so terrified of this man!
"You just want money; why bully two women? If you hurt us, you won't get a single cent! The Jin Family and Yan Family will make sure you pay dearly!" Jono spoke up suddenly.
Ruan Shengyu had completely lost her mind and could not communicate normally. If Jono wanted to stay safe, she had to rely on herself.
Zhang Long shifted his gaze to Jono, his cold eyes locking onto her.
Jono felt uncomfortable under his stare, but showing weakness now would only reveal her helplessness. She held her head high.
"I am the Jin Family Young Mistress, and she is Yan San's girlfriend. Do you really think the two families would let you off if anything happened to us? Don’t forget that you're only after money right now; in the end, you might lose your lives!" Jono clenched her hands tightly together, only she knew how scared she truly was. "The Jin Family and Yan Family have plenty of money. As long as we come out unscathed, you can leave without a scratch. You wouldn’t throw away your life over one woman’s revenge, would you? If I remember correctly, you just got out of prison not long ago; I’m sure you don’t want to go back!"
Her words struck a chord with Zhang Long.
He considered that while they were indeed after money, they also sought revenge for past grievances!
"Brother Long, this little brat has quite the mouth; don’t listen to her!" Ni Yue interjected, stepping in front of Jono and trying to curry favor with Zhang Long.

"Bring this woman a phone; let her call Jin Chengyan!"
“Miss, something's wrong! The Young Mistress isn't home, and she didn't take her phone with her. I asked the people at her company, and they said she didn't go to work today! The Young Mistress usually doesn't leave without a word!” A-Shan rushed in from outside, a chill surrounding him.
Jin Mengli frowned. “No wonder. When Jono called me earlier, he said to save her! Could something have happened?”

"Alice, it's me." Jin Chengyan interrupted Alice in a low tone.
Alice gasped in surprise, "Jin... Mr. Jin?"
"Yes, what happened? What do you mean no comment?" Jin Chengyan was currently lying on the hospital bed, completely unaware of what was happening outside.
"Well, Mr. Jin, perhaps we should wait until you're better to discuss this!"
"You know I was injured?" Jin Chengyan thought about how there were times he didn't go to the office and even Alice didn't know his whereabouts, yet she knew he was hurt.
"Everyone from Qin Cheng knows..." So the Jin Family's phone was about to be overwhelmed with calls today!
After listening to Alice recount the events of the day, it became clear that everyone in the city knew what had happened between him and Yan Beiting yesterday!
