Jin Chengyan stepped out of Jin Mansion, his face tense. He scolded the two bodyguards at the entrance, "You didn't notice that someone is missing? How do you do your job?"
The two bodyguards were completely dumbfounded. They had been standing guard at the door and had no idea that Jono was gone!
There was no point in saying more; the person was already missing, and continuing to hold them accountable would be futile.
With a dark expression, he got into the car. A-Shan shot a stern look at the two subordinates before silently getting in as well.

Jin Chengyan remained silent, his brow furrowed in thought.
How could someone as big as Jono just vanish from Jin Mansion? How did she get out, and where could she possibly go? What was she planning to do?
"Go to Qiao Chen's school," he instructed the driver.
No matter what Jono was up to, the fact that Qiao Chen was her brother couldn't change. Even if she wanted to leave, she would have to take Qiao Chen with her!
He was the only blood relative she had in this world!
The car drove straight to Qiao Chen's school but was stopped at the gate. A-Shan got out and spoke with the security guard for a moment, after which the gate swung open, allowing them to park right in front of Qiao Chen's classroom building.
A-Shan initially said he would go up himself, but unexpectedly, as soon as the car stopped, Jin Chengyan rushed out and headed upstairs.
Qiao Chen was in Chinese class, with the teacher analyzing classical Chinese on stage when Jin Chengyan barged in without warning!
The entire classroom, including the teacher and forty-nine students, turned to look at Jin Chengyan at the door.

Jin Chengyan completely ignored her and walked straight towards Qiao Chen, grabbing his wrist. "Come with me!"
Qiao Chen felt uncomfortable the moment he saw Jin Chengyan. This man had come to school looking for him again, and now he was telling him to come along—on what grounds?
"Why should I go with you?" Qiao Chen snapped back, his temper flaring. He was a stubborn young man.
Jin Chengyan frowned slightly. "I don't want to repeat myself. Come with me right now!"
The situation seemed serious. Did something happen to his sister?
Qiao Chen sprang up from his chair, his height nearly matching Jin Chengyan's, and his aura equally fierce. "What have you done to my sister?"
The entire classroom watched the confrontation between the two young men, but it was clear that Jin Chengyan's age gave him an advantage over Qiao Chen's youthful defiance.
"You'll find out when we get there," Jin Chengyan said, releasing Qiao Chen's wrist. As long as it involved Jono, Qiao Chen would definitely follow without hesitation.
Sure enough, as soon as Jin Chengyan took a step forward, Qiao Chen immediately followed him!
"Qiao Chen, what are you doing? Skipping class for no reason? Do you even care about your education or college anymore?" The language teacher was furious; this wasn't the first time Qiao Chen had acted like this.

Jasper had someone black out the surveillance cameras on several roads near Jin Mansion and took Jono out through the back door.
Getting her out wasn't difficult; the challenge was what to do with Jono afterward.

But the matter between her and Jin Chengyan was known only to the two of them.

To confirm, Jono opened the Contract to take a look.
Could Jin Chengyan really have forgotten something as important as placing a document in the safe? All his weaknesses were laid bare before Jono! Was it that he trusted her too much, or had he never trusted her at all?
Testing the waters, the words flashed through Jono's mind.
It was only after arriving at the Ji Family that she slowly came to this realization. She had to do something herself; she couldn't always be at a disadvantage!

Jasper nodded in understanding. "If you need anything, just let me know. Aside from killing and arson, I'll help with whatever I can."

"However, I think Jin Chengyan will find this place soon. What do you plan to do then?" That would be the moment when Jasper and Jin Chengyan would face off directly!
"Don't worry; he won't force me to leave," Jono said confidently.
Jasper looked forward to seeing how things would unfold.

Hearing Jasper's voice, Xining sulked, but she was facing away from him, directly towards Yan'an City, making a face.

Jasper snorted lightly. "She's clearly just a little girl."

Ye Yun had informed him that Yan'an City had arranged a private plane to fly to C City.

"The Young Mistress is on a flight to C City..." A-Shan looked at the information on his phone. "Yan San is also on board."
Jin Chengyan frowned.
"Head to C City!" He didn't instruct A-Shan or any of his subordinates to go; he would go himself!
"Understood." A-Shan quickly made arrangements.
The car sped down the highway, and Jin Chengyan toyed with his phone absentmindedly. After a long silence, he said, "Is Jasper just idling around lately?"
A-Shan was taken aback. Their young master had never liked Jasper. Even though Jin Zhongshu planned to collaborate with the Ji Family, Jin Chengyan had not responded much, dragging things out.
At that moment, when Jin Chengyan asked about Jasper, A-Shan wondered if it had something to do with Jono.
"Go investigate everything about him and Xining! Leave no stone unturned!" Jin Chengyan's words were laced with a chilling tone.
No one could lead Jin Chengyan by the nose. This Jasper thought he could act high and mighty just because he had arrived in Qin Cheng. Did he really think he was the master of Qin Cheng?

Facing Yan Beiting, Jono felt somewhat at a loss. As the plane took off and climbed to three thousand meters, Jono turned his head and saw Yan Beiting still looking at him.
"Alright, Mr. Yan, what exactly do you want to tell me?" Jono said helplessly, his gaze drifting past him to see Xining already asleep down the corridor.
Yan Beiting withdrew his gaze from her and began speaking to Jono: "Did you and Xining go to C City to avoid Jin Chengyan or for some other reason? If you tell me, I can help you solve any problems. I can't let you slip out of my sight again."
