"Big Sis—" Qiao Chen rushed home in the morning, only to find the house empty, with only the bloodstains in the kitchen reminding him of what had happened.

"Let's go inside first. Qiao Lovely should be waking up soon; we need to get her something to eat."

He took Jono's phone and said to Qiao Lovely, "Daddy is going out to take a call. You be good and don't move around."
"Will you come back?"

"I'll remind you once again, she is Jono, not Faye!" Jin Chengyan declared with a domineering tone. No one could take Jono away from him, not even Xi Yisheng, who had spent four years with her.
"You—" Xi Yisheng wanted to say something more, but the call was abruptly ended by Jin Chengyan.
Not only did he hang up, but Jin Chengyan also changed Xi Yisheng's contact name back to his original name and set his phone to block calls from that number.
After doing all this, Jin Chengyan felt at ease as he returned to the hospital room and put down his phone.
Around the same time, Jono came back. Seeing Jin Chengyan still there, his brows instinctively furrowed.
However, noticing that Qiao Lovely seemed to be getting along well with him, Jono couldn't help but think about how this pretty girl would grow up in the future.
