After finishing everything, the group felt exhausted and leaned against the wall to rest. The oil lamp continued to flicker, casting a warm glow, but one by one, they succumbed to sleep. 0

At that moment, a commotion arose as the Spider Legion turned back around. 0

White Mang lay on the ground with wide eyes. When it saw countless spiders approaching, it felt a twinge of anxiety but remained still. 0

The leading spider halted upon spotting White Python, releasing a unique signal that caused all the spiders to stop in their tracks. 0

It seemed they recognized that White Python was injured, so they did not immediately retreat. Meanwhile, the others were still deep in slumber, completely unaware of the external disturbance. 0

The two sides faced each other. White Python wriggled slightly, causing the spiders to hastily retreat, their formation thrown into disarray. A few were pushed off and scrambled back onto the wall. 0

However, the spiders quickly regained their composure and did not vanish as they had before. 0

White Mang flicked its tongue in warning at them. The spiders seemed to understand its intent: you are cornered. Instead of retreating, they advanced a little closer. 0

White Python's eyes glimmered as it continued to flick its tongue in warning but made no further movements. 0

Seeing that they were not harmed by their advance, the Spider Legion grew bolder and approached White Python, preparing to attack. Just as they moved in, White Python struck with lightning speed, its hefty body displaying surprising agility as it swallowed a large portion of the nearest spiders whole. It landed silently, executing the entire maneuver flawlessly while the group remained sound asleep. 0

After suffering significant losses, the Spider Legion retreated like a defeated army, scattering and vanishing completely. 0

White Python consumed the spiders. Typically, snakes can go months without food after a single meal. 0

Now that it was injured, it needed to replenish its energy! 0

All of this transpired in an instant, and White Python lay back down as if playing dead. 0

As time passed, the group gradually woke up; the oil lamp was nearly burnt out. The silence remained undisturbed. Second rubbed his head and said, "How did I fall asleep?" He glanced at White Python and noticed its eyes were closed, mistakenly thinking it had died. Tentatively, he reached out to touch its head. 0

To Second's surprise, White Python's eyes snapped open quickly, startling him. He cursed under his breath, "Damn it, you can play dead too?" 0

White Python seemed too lazy to respond and slowly closed its eyes again. 0

As the others finally reacted, they watched Second stumble backward, puzzled but silent. 0

Seven said, "We need to find a way out; we can't just sit here wasting time." Wang Er Gou sighed, "It's tough! If we go down, we'll suffocate; if we go up, we all know that's a dead end." 0

"But we can't just wait for death," Second replied. This was Second's principle: it was better to take initiative than to passively await doom. 0

"We've overcome so many obstacles to get here; why fear this little difficulty?" Second added. With First no longer present, he felt a greater sense of responsibility. 0

After a moment of silence, Third spoke up, "We might still need to use 'sorcery'." The group fell quiet. 0

Second asked, "Is that the method we used to enter?" Third nodded. The current issue was that there were no ancient symbols or inscriptions in this place. 0

A thought crossed Third's mind: since I was lured in here, could it be that we are meant to uncover something or seek out an answer? Perhaps we must find the solution before we can leave. 0

Do we have to reach the very depths before we can escape? 0

Meanwhile, Wang Er Gou, flipping through the pages of "Feng Shui World," exclaimed, "I've got it!" This broke the tension, and everyone asked what he had found. 0

Wang Er Gou turned to the last page of "Feng Shui World," where elegant cursive writing filled the space. It read: "I am old now, and it is a great regret that I cannot pass this book on to future generations. I am trapped here and fear I may never escape in this lifetime..." 0

There was a long pause before more writing appeared, showing strength and vigor that indicated it was written at a different time. It continued: "I should never have secretly taken this ancient text from my sect; falling into this predicament is truly my punishment." 0

Another gap followed before it stated: "I am nearing death; is this old man playing such a cruel joke on me? Just as I approach my end, I learn of the exit from this place. Fate is indeed capricious." 0

Yet another pause led to: "I have no face to return; dying here would be better—buried with the sins I've committed against the Feng Shui School!" 0

"If a fated person finds this book, it means you are already trapped here. I will guide you out as long as you are sincere. Bow three times at my place of death! At that moment, I will show you the way out. I have one last request: when you leave, please deliver a copy of this book back to the Feng Shui School so I can atone for my wrongs." 0

Wang Er Gou closed the book, and excitement spread across the faces of the group. This news felt like discovering a treasure beyond measure. 0

"Then what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Second shouted. 0

Suddenly, White Mang, who was lying on the ground, wriggled closer to Third. At first, Third thought White Mang was going to attack him and took a step back against the wall. 0

However, its movements were so gentle that it couldn't be an attack. Third reached out to touch White Mang's skin in response to its friendly gesture. Then he stood up. Second had already taken a few steps forward when White Mang unexpectedly blocked Second's path and exhaled a breath towards him. Second was overwhelmed by the stench and cursed, "Damn it, you snake! Have I made an enemy of you?" 0

Third suddenly realized something and walked in front of White Python, pausing to look into its eyes. "Do you not want us to leave?" White Python seemed to understand his words, wriggling slightly and blinking its eyes, but it also seemed to indicate that wasn't quite the case. 0

Wang Er Gou held the book in his hands, eager to test the waters. 0

Instinctively, Wang Er Gou shifted his feet, and White Python nudged against him. Wang Er Gou halted in his tracks. 0

Seeing this, Second became even more frustrated. This creature was so gentle with others but had just blown foul breath at him. 0

Third continued speaking to White Python. "If you can understand me, blink your eyes." 0

Sure enough, White Python blinked. 0

"Wow, this creature really can understand human speech," Second said, previously only guessing but now feeling certain. He stepped forward and demanded, "Do you have a problem with me?" 0

To his surprise, White Python blinked again. Second was left speechless with anger and awkwardly retreated to his original spot. 0

The others were stifling their laughter! 0

Third pressed on with his questions. "Do you not want us to go up?" 0

White Python nodded again. Its eyes were beautiful and net-like, appearing deep and unfathomable. 0

Everyone stared in amazement at White Python; it completely shattered their preconceived notions—this was truly incredible. Third continued asking questions while everyone else remained silent, only the sound of their breathing could be heard. Third went on, "Do you want us to stay here with you?" White Python blinked once more. 0

Third added, "Do you not want us to leave this Stone Path?" Upon hearing this question, White Python did not blink; instead, an expression of innocence appeared in its eyes. 0

"Have you guessed what it is?" Third asked. "You don't want us to kneel before the person in the cell, do you?" 0

At this, White Python quickly blinked its eyes. Wang Er Gou found it hard to accept and said, "Can it really believe that?" Although everyone had this doubt in their hearts, being alive was certainly more reliable than being dead, even if it was just a snake. 0

Third continued to lean towards the answer in his heart and said, "Is it that the person in the cell has a problem?" 0

Unexpectedly, White Python blinked its eyes again. 0

Second chimed in, "Could that bastard be a fraud?" This time, White Python didn’t argue back and quickly blinked its eyes. The group stared at it in astonishment! 0

"This..." Seven felt a bit confused. Third then asked, "Is this a conspiracy?" White Python blinked its eyes rapidly once more. 0

Third felt he had a basic understanding now. Wang Er Gou's heart was also churning with waves of turmoil. 0

The Feng Shui master was nothing but a fraud until death, leaving behind an eternal deception. How utterly shameless! Wang Er Gou cursed inwardly, filled with disdain. 0

Third continued to ask, "Can you lead us to the exit?" 0

White Mang blinked its eyes but wriggled its body, indicating that it was still injured and not very convenient right now. 0

Third gently said, "Shall we wait until you heal before we go out?" White Mang blinked again. 0

Wang Er Gou flipped through the book and said, "Could this book be fake?" He couldn't help but voice his thoughts. Seven replied, "You're the expert on this; we're all novices." 0

However, most of the Feng Shui techniques recorded inside were familiar to Wang Er Gou; he had only heard of some in rumors, and there were others he had never heard of at all, like the 'Revival Technique' and the final chapter titled 'Heavenly Art,' which were completely unknown to him. 0

Second said, "Regardless of whether it's good or bad, let's keep the book hidden; it's not a burden anyway." 0

At this moment, Third spoke up: "This book might actually be real." 0

Wang Er Gou stared at him, waiting for more explanation and wanting to know why he was so certain. Third continued, "It’s likely that the owner of this book doesn’t want anyone else to possess it or take it away." 0

"Then why doesn't he just destroy this book?" Seven asked. 0

"That's hard to say. Maybe he couldn't bear to do it or didn't have the time. Looking at it now, it must be that he ran out of time," came the reply. 0

"What a narrow-minded fool! Damn it, it's all thanks to this beast," Second said. 0

White Python clearly took offense to the term "beast" and flicked its tongue at Second. 0

Second shouted, "I'm not afraid of you!" White Python wriggled its body and lifted its head, causing Second to take a few steps back in fright. "Alright, I give in! I admit defeat," Second said. 0

Seven laughed heartily, " Second, you're too funny! Why bother arguing with it?" 0

Feeling victorious, White Python withdrew its head with satisfaction. Second turned to Seven and said, "You keep laughing, and you'll see how I deal with you later." 0

Seven immediately stopped laughing and said, " Second, don't be like that! I was just joking." 0

Second fell silent and sat down on the ground to rest. 0

Now they could only wait for White Python to heal before heading out. Everyone busied themselves with their own tasks. Although Wang Er Gou felt angry inside, he realized that when he was in the game, he only deceived others and never harmed anyone's life. 0

He never expected there would be such scum within the Feng Shui School. 0
