"Yes," I said. 0

"Shen Ziyun," Chen Junfeng said, "I was wrong, but it shouldn't lead to me..." 0

At that moment, my dad returned. 0

He walked up to Chen Junfeng with his phone in hand. 0

"Take a look for yourself!" my dad said. 0

Chen Junfeng took the phone. 0

On the video was footage of what had happened at school. It turned out that the recent events had already been uploaded online by well-meaning individuals. Now, discussions were rampant, with many claiming that our school was poorly managed and unfit to teach other people's children. 0

"I didn't expect things to escalate like this," Chen Junfeng said. "I mishandled the situation, but you can't expel me over this, can you?" 0

"Coach Chen," my dad replied, "I have doubts about your management and handling abilities, but who hired Lu Yueyue?" 0

"It was..." Chen Junfeng glanced at Lu Yueyue, "Lu Yueyue interviewed for the position." 0

"Who allowed her to start working?" my dad asked. 0

"It was..." Chen Junfeng looked at Lu Yueyue again but remained silent. 0

"I asked for the job myself," Lu Yueyue said. "Coach Chen felt sorry for me when he saw I couldn't find work and let me come on board." 0

"Uncle," Lu Yueyue squeezed out a couple of tears. "My brother and I lost our parents when we were young. We managed to finish high school with the help of relatives. My brother is now in middle school, and I have no job. Life has been really tough..." 0

"Lu Yueyue," I interjected, "the hardships you and your brother face are not our school's concern. This is Fitness School, not a charity organization; rules are rules." 0

"Chen Junfeng," my dad continued, "I don't want to fire you. You and Lu Yueyue should resign voluntarily." 0

"What?" Chen Junfeng asked. 0

"The apartment you're living in also belongs to my family," I said. "You need to move out." 0

"What did you say?" Chen Junfeng asked. "Isn't that apartment rented from you?" 0

"It was rented to you by me," I said, "but the house is mine." 0

"Impossible!" Lu Yueyue exclaimed. "Chen Junfeng said this house belongs to his dad, and his dad gave it to him!" 0

"When my parents divorced, the house was awarded to my mom," I replied. "He always thought it was his dad's, but it has always been my mom's." 0

"Chen Junfeng," Lu Yueyue's face turned pale, "didn't you say the house was your dad's?" 0

"I always thought it was," Chen Junfeng admitted. "But I later found out that the house is under my mom's name." 0

"Chen Junfeng, are you trying to ruin me?" Lu Yueyue asked. 0

"Don't speak so harshly," Chen Junfeng replied. "How could I possibly harm you?" 0

"Enough!" my dad interjected. "You two, sign your resignation and leave!" 0

"Okay." 0

After they signed their resignation letters, they left. 0

After their departure, Chen Junfeng kept sending me messages, calling me, even showing up at my doorstep, begging for forgiveness. I really didn't want to deal with this issue, so I agreed to meet him at a café. 0

"Ziyun," Chen Junfeng said, "I'm sorry." 0

"You don't need to apologize to me," I replied. "You lied to me, your mom lied to me, your dad lied to me, your sister lied to me; even Lu Yueyue deceived me. Not one of you is good!" 0

"Ziyun, I was wrong," Chen Junfeng said. "But I'm also a victim." 0

"What do you mean?" I asked. 0

"Lu Yueyue deceived everyone," Chen Junfeng explained. "She doesn't have no parents; her brother isn't really her brother—he's her own son!" 0

"What?" I asked in disbelief. 0

"She used to date a rich second-generation heir," Chen Junfeng continued. "She got pregnant and wanted to marry into wealth using her child as leverage, but she ended up being dumped by that heir. A month ago, when she found out I became the principal and that I'm a resident of Rose Garden, she started planning to get close to me." 0

"So what?" I pressed. 0

"Ziyun," Chen Junfeng pleaded, "I was wrong. Can you forgive me? Let's be good together again, okay?" 0

"Impossible," I said. "Every decision I've made, I won't turn back on." 0

"Ziyun..." Chen Junfeng said. 0

"Don't say anything more," I replied. "If you contact me again, I'll call the police." 0

"Ziyun..." Chen Junfeng looked at me in pain. 0

"Lu Yueyue deceived you; go find her," I said. "Don't look for me anymore." 0

I turned and walked away. 0

I heard Chen Junfeng shout, "Lu Yueyue, I want you to pay the price!" 0

The next morning, the property management called me, saying someone had hung a banner at the entrance of the community, accusing me of being a third party in a relationship and having an abortion. 0

I called my lawyer and reported it to the police. 0

When I went downstairs, I saw Dingding holding the banner, loudly proclaiming my "crimes" through a megaphone. Behind him stood an elderly man from the community who was responsible for cleaning, banging a gong. 0

"What are you doing?" I asked. 0

"Hmph!" Dingding replied. "Who told you to make my sister unhappy? I'll make sure you don't have it easy either!" 0

When the police arrived, Dingding immediately wilted at the sight of them. 0

" Dingding, what are you doing?" the officer asked. 0

"I... I..." Dingding stammered. 0

"What do you mean 'I'?" the officer said. "Come on, you're coming with me to the police station." 0

"Officer," Dingding pleaded, "I was wrong; I won't do it again." 0

"Now you realize your mistake?" the officer said. "It's too late! At your young age, instead of learning good things, you choose this path. Just wait for your guardian!" 0

"Officer!" Dingding cried out, bursting into tears. "I was wrong; please forgive me this time. I promise I won't do it again." 0

The officer ignored him and took him and others back to the police station. 0
