As the team delved deeper into the newly revealed passage, the air pressure seemed to gradually increase. A cold wind howled from the darkness ahead, carrying unknown whispers. They proceeded along the rocky path, each step accompanied by the echoes of their own breathing and footsteps, as if the temple itself was listening to their every move.
Liu Qing, as the vanguard of the team, carefully led the way. His gaze was sharp, constantly alert for potential dangers. His sword was ready to respond to any sudden threats, its tip faintly glowing as if sensing its master's tension.
"We need to stay calm and pay attention to every detail around us," Fang Yi said in a low voice to the team, his gaze occasionally sweeping the walls and ceiling of the passage, searching for possible traps or mechanisms.
Suddenly, Chu Yun stopped in her tracks, her eyes focused on a huge stone ahead, which was inscribed with peculiar runes. "These runes carry the energy of the ancient, we may be getting close to the target," she said softly, as the power of lightning quietly gathered in her hand, preparing for a potential battle.
Xiao Zhe leaped lightly onto a raised rock, using his agility to find a better vantage point. "The structure here is very unusual, it seems like every step could trigger a mechanism," he pointed out several inconspicuous cracks on the ground, which were part of the mechanism.
Suddenly, the ground began to shake, and several huge stones slowly rose up, transforming into the shape of Stone Sentinels. The eyes of these Stone Sentinels emitted red light as they launched an attack on the team.
"Prepare for battle!" Liang Xiao shouted as he quickly charged forward, wielding his Dragon Soul Sword, facing off against the nearest Stone Sentinel. The clash of the sword and the Stone Sentinel sent sparks flying, illuminating the darkness around them.
Yun Xiang swiftly played the Xianyin Qin, the music of the qin surging like waves, forming a series of sound wave shields to protect the team from direct attacks by the stone statues. His music also attempted to disrupt the movements of the stone statues, slowing their actions.
Chu Yun gathers the full power of thunder and releases a powerful thunderstorm, directly rushing towards several stone statues in front. The thunder erupts within the stone statues, causing some of them to momentarily stop moving.
Each person in the team displays their own strengths, cooperating with each other to break through the defense of the stone statues one by one. After a fierce battle, the last Stone sentinel finally crumbles into countless stone fragments, scattering on the ground.
"This kind of challenge is just the beginning, we must remain vigilant," Fang Yi reminded everyone, and then they continued on, delving deeper into this mysterious and ancient temple, searching for the truth of that mysterious artifact."
As the team further explores the depths of the temple, they arrive at a huge circular room with a massive stone pillar standing in the center. The pillar is adorned with intricate runes and symbols, seemingly recording ancient history or some unknown prophecy.
Chu Yun approaches the stone pillar, gently touching its cold surface, attempting to sense the energy it holds. "The runes here are very ancient, possibly related to the builders of this temple. Perhaps this could give us some clues about the purpose of the temple," she reflects.

Fang Yi listened and then took out his ancient book, starting to compare the runes on the pillar with his book. "According to the records here, these runes are usually used to protect or seal a powerful force. Yun Xiang and Xiao Zhe then went to two different altars, beginning to try to influence the flames on the altars with their skills. Yun Xiang adjusted the frequency of the flames with the music of the qin from the Xianyin Qin, while Xiao Zhe used the Heart of the Wind gem to guide the surrounding wind to control the form of the flames.

Chu Yun sensed the fluctuation of electricity in the air, concentrating power in the palm of his hand, ready to release a thunderstorm at any moment to protect his teammates.
The mysterious figure stopped in front of the stone pillar, his voice deep and echoing as if coming from a distant place: "You have provoked the guardian of this temple. Now, you must prove your worth."
Liu Qing gripped the sword handle tightly and responded, "We neither fear the challenge nor will we retreat. Tell us, guardian, what must we do to earn your recognition?"
The mysterious guardian slowly walked towards the center of the light circle, pointing to the glowing sphere: "You must retrieve a pure ancient artifact from this energy source and safely bring it out of the temple. But be careful, every step is filled with danger and trials."
Fang Yi carefully recorded this information, while using the Philosopher's stone to enhance his perception, ensuring he could discern any hidden mechanisms or subtle changes in magic.
Yun Xiang lightly plucks the Xianyin Qin, using sound waves to detect the surrounding environment, ensuring safety for the teammates while providing a subtle form of protection.
Chu Yun takes a deep breath and steps towards the center of the light circle, her hands flashing with lightning, ready to release it when necessary. She treads carefully, sensing the energy waves emanating from the light ball beneath her feet.
