"You kissed me passionately last night," Bo Jingtian said earnestly.
"I..." I was utterly shocked.
"You were very enthusiastic last night," Bo Jingtian added shyly.
"I..." I felt extremely embarrassed.
"You need to take responsibility for me," Bo Jingtian said seriously.
"Ah?" I was bewildered.
"You need to take responsibility for me," Bo Jingtian repeated.
"I..." I was at a loss for words.
"Can you do that?" Bo Jingtian stared at me, asking.
"I can," I replied, forcing myself to agree.
"Very good," Bo Jingtian said with satisfaction.
"Um..." I hesitated, wanting to say something.
"What is it?" Bo Jingtian asked, puzzled.
"Shouldn't we change our relationship?" I said cautiously.
"What do you mean?" Bo Jingtian asked, confused.
"I mean, we should have a real romance," I stated seriously.
"Are you saying we should fall in love?" Bo Jingtian exclaimed in shock.
"Yes," I affirmed firmly.
"Are you sure?" Bo Jingtian asked uncertainly.
"I'm sure," I confirmed.
"Alright," Bo Jingtian agreed.
"Then we..." I said expectantly.
"We'll take it slow," Bo Jingtian replied softly.
"Okay," I obediently agreed.
"Make sure to rest well," Bo Jingtian said with concern.
"Mm," I nodded in response.
With that, Bo Jingtian left the room.
In the following days, Bo Jingtian's attitude towards me changed completely. He became more caring and considerate.
"Could it be that he's upset because I kissed him?" I wondered aloud.
"What if he wants a divorce?" Anxiety crept in.
"What if he actually brings it up?" I fretted.
However, Bo Jingtian did not mention divorce; instead, he took even better care of me.
"What does he really want?" I was utterly perplexed.
"Could he have ulterior motives?" a sudden thought crossed my mind.
"But there's nothing about me that would interest him," I dismissed the idea.
"Forget it, it doesn't matter," I decided to let it go.
"We still have one last destination for our honeymoon," Bo Jingtian suddenly said.
"Huh?" I was taken aback.
"Which city do you want to visit?" Bo Jingtian asked, looking at me.
"I..." I hesitated.
"I have a cousin who recommended a place," I recalled.
"Great, I'll make the arrangements," Bo Jingtian replied readily.
"Okay," I said, feeling touched.
The next day, we boarded a private plane.
"Are we flying straight there?" I asked curiously.
"Yes," Bo Jingtian replied softly.
"What about our luggage?" I glanced at him.
"We'll buy what we need when we arrive," Bo Jingtian said calmly.
"Huh?" I was shocked.
"We're just going on our honeymoon; we don't need to bring too much," he explained.
"Oh," I realized with understanding.
"You just need to follow me," Bo Jingtian said, looking at me.
"Alright," I agreed obediently.
Thus, we headed to our final honeymoon city. As soon as we got off the plane, a car was waiting to pick us up.
"It's so beautiful," I exclaimed as I took in the scenery around us.
"I'm glad you like it," Bo Jingtian said gently.
"Mm." I said happily.
We got into the car, which took us to Seaside Villa.
"Are we staying here tonight?" I looked at Bo Jingtian and asked.
"Mm." Bo Jingtian replied softly.
"That's great." I said with joy.
"Let's go inside." Bo Jingtian took my hand and said.
"Mm." I responded happily.
So, we entered the villa.
Over the next month, we visited many places. We got to know each other better, and our feelings deepened.
"We're going back tomorrow." I said while sitting on the beach.
"Mm." Bo Jingtian replied softly.
"Will we always be together?" I looked at Bo Jingtian and asked.
"Of course." Bo Jingtian affirmed.
"Will you leave me?" I asked with concern.
"No." Bo Jingtian said firmly.
"Really?" I asked uncertainly.
"Really." Bo Jingtian assured me.
"Then I can relax." I said with relief.
"I won't leave you." Bo Jingtian said seriously.
"Mm." I felt touched.
The next day, we returned to our city.
Bo Jingtian went to work at the company every day and came home early to have dinner with me.
I had a leisurely time at home, playing games online with Liu Ying and the others every day.
"Xiaoxiao, do you have time?" Zhang Liangshan called me.
"I do." I replied calmly.
"I need to talk to you about something." Zhang Liangshan said politely.
"What is it?" I asked curiously.
"Our company recently hired a new agent," Zhang Liangshan reported.
"Oh," I replied calmly.
"He brought in a newcomer, and things are going really well," Zhang Liangshan continued.
"Isn't that great?" I said happily.
"But the old employees at the company are not happy," Zhang Liangshan said helplessly.
"Why?" I asked, puzzled.
"They feel threatened by the newcomer," Zhang Liangshan explained.
"I see," I understood.
"Now the old employees and the newcomers are about to fight," Zhang Liangshan said, worried.
"Is it that serious?" I asked in surprise.
"Yeah," Zhang Liangshan confirmed.
"What do you plan to do about it?" I looked at Zhang Liangshan and asked.
"I don't know," Zhang Liangshan said helplessly.
"Actually, this situation is easy to handle," I said calmly.
"How?" Zhang Liangshan asked curiously.
"Increase the workload of those old employees," I said seriously.
"Huh?" Zhang Liangshan was taken aback.
"If their workload increases, they will create more benefits for the company," I analyzed.
"But what if they resist?" Zhang Liangshan worriedly asked.
"They won't resist," I assured him.
"Why not?" Zhang Liangshan asked, confused.
"Because they want to keep their positions," I replied calmly.
"I understand now," Zhang Liangshan said, enlightened.
"Just do as I say, and there won't be any problems," I said confidently.
"Okay, I'll follow your advice," Zhang Liangshan trusted me.
"Great," I said with satisfaction.
"I have nothing else to discuss, so you can get back to work," Zhang Liangshan said politely.
"Alright," I replied readily.
"Goodbye," Zhang Liangshan said gently.
"Goodbye," I responded.
Just like that, I resolved the company's issues.
In the afternoon, I went to the office.
"You see, she's here," I overheard someone say as I passed by a corner.
"What is she doing at the company?" another voice questioned.
"She must be here to see President Bo," the first voice replied.
"Isn't it normal for her to come to the company since she’s married to President Bo?" the second voice added.
"She only married President Bo because she seduced him," the first voice scoffed.
"Exactly," another voice chimed in.
"She has nothing but her looks," the first voice continued with disdain.
"But her work skills are impressive too," the second voice defended me.
"If it weren't for President Bo, she wouldn't even be able to run a company," the first voice mocked.
"Right," another voice agreed again.
"I can't stand women like her," the first voice expressed with contempt.
"Enough of that," the second voice tried to mediate.
"We're just speaking the truth," the first voice insisted confidently.
"Exactly," another voice echoed once more.
"Are you all that bored?" I approached them and asked.
"Huh?" They were taken aback.
"If you're so bored, I can assign you more work," I said calmly.
"We're not bored," they quickly denied.
"That's good to hear," I replied with satisfaction.
"We're very busy," the first voice hurriedly added.
"That's great," I said, feeling pleased.
"We'll get back to work now," they said as they hurried away.
