"Then go ahead and kill me! Come on!" Takeda Dairo shouted at Jiang Chen.
Jiang Chen's expression turned serious as he reached out towards Takeda Dairo. Despite the distance of several meters, it was as if a powerful force pulled Takeda Dairo directly towards him. Takeda Dairo's face changed as he tried to struggle, but he couldn't break free at all.
Jiang Chen grasped Takeda Dairo by the throat, his gaze sharp and his expression dark as a deep abyss. Takeda Dairo looked at Jiang Chen in horror; the look on Jiang Chen's face and in his eyes was terrifying. Suddenly, Takeda Dairo saw a blur before his eyes, countless shadows appearing around him. It felt as though he had fallen into a colorful, dreamlike abyss filled with countless eyes that were watching him. He felt that all his secrets were being exposed to those eyes.
This sensation was mystical. Takeda Dairo felt dazed, unsure how much time had passed when the illusion suddenly vanished, pulling him back to reality, where he faced Jiang Chen's cold and indifferent expression.
"It hurts!" Takeda Dairo felt as if his brain had been doused in boiling water, a splitting headache overwhelming him.
"I already know where you've hidden the Kunlun Divine Mirror," Jiang Chen said lightly, then casually tossed Takeda Dairo aside.
"Are you trying to scare me? How could you possibly know if I didn't tell you?" Takeda Dairo refused to believe it.
Jiang Chen looked up towards Kyoto. In the heart of the city, the night was illuminated with brilliant lights, towering skyscrapers standing tall. Among them, a few buildings stood out prominently. Jiang Chen pointed to a high-rise next to the Kyoto Skytree; its lights shone bright red with a beam of light shooting up into the sky, particularly eye-catching against the night backdrop.
"Takeda Clan Leader, if I'm not mistaken, the Kunlun Divine Mirror should be atop that building," Jiang Chen remarked with a smile.
Takeda Dairo's expression changed dramatically as he stared at Jiang Chen in disbelief.
"How do you know?" Takeda Dairo felt as if his world had turned upside down, shock written all over his face.
"I have my ways of finding out what I want to know, even if you don't tell me," Jiang Chen replied playfully. This Takeda Dairo was forcing him to use the Mind Soul Search Technique; after all, it was just a Kunlun Divine Mirror. These mortals placed too much importance on it; even if they possessed it, it was merely an antique. It was ridiculous that Takeda Dairo valued the Kunlun Divine Mirror more than his own life.
The Mind Soul Search Technique was a divine ability from the celestial realm that allowed one to invade an opponent's mind and steal their secrets using mental energy. However, this technique consumed a tremendous amount of spiritual power. For Jiang Chen at his current cultivation level, using it once would be taxing.
Jiang Chen had anticipated that the Takeda Family would politely hand over the Kunlun Divine Mirror so everyone could coexist peacefully. After all, his abilities were enough to intimidate them, as Takeda Kyoko had witnessed firsthand.
But Takeda Dairo, as the clan leader, was too extreme and would rather die than surrender the Kunlun Divine Mirror; thus, he would have to be dealt with accordingly. Moreover, now that he had used the soul search technique, the Takeda Family held no value for Jiang Chen anymore.
"Alright, it's time for this to end," Jiang Chen declared as heavy rain suddenly poured from the sky.
The members of the Takeda Family changed color dramatically; Jiang Chen had just stated that when heavy rain fell, he would kill them.
Jiang Chen took out a Storage Jade Gourd from his pocket. With a slight movement of his mind and a flick of his finger, the Sky Sword whistled out into the air.
