Dent felt significantly lighter as he sank into Song Guilong's seat, but it also caused harm to Song Guilong. He noticed bloodstains on the seat and saw that the first aid kit beneath it had been pulled halfway out, its contents scattered. It seemed that before leaving, Song Guilong had performed emergency treatment on his wounds. This indicated that he had been calm and conscious before departing. Dent couldn't believe that this severe injury would restore his clarity; the most likely scenario was that his previous state of unconsciousness had been a facade. 0

Liu Squad Leader's body was half-hanging from the seat, secured by the seatbelt, leaning outward like a limp creature, with his limbs and head drooping down as if he could fall at any moment. Dent reached out to check him; there was a pulse and breathing, but his body was cold. 0

Given his position and the condition of the Sealed Chamber, it was difficult for Dent to provide medical assistance. He needed to get Liu Squad Leader out. However, he was alone, and it would be too challenging to do it by himself. After some thought, he decided to ensure Liu Squad Leader's head was safe while neglecting other parts. After all, one of his arms was already useless; preserving his life came first. A glance at Liu Squad Leader's collapsed left shoulder confirmed Dent's decision. 0

He positioned himself at the hatch, bracing Liu Squad Leader's body with his right arm while unbuckling the seatbelt with his left hand. Liu Squad Leader's body immediately slumped down. Lifting a conscious person was entirely different from lifting an unconscious one. A conscious person could cooperate even if they didn't move, their body tensing up to provide leverage. But an unconscious person, like Liu Squad Leader now, felt like a sack of flour—soft and limp. Dent struggled to hold onto Liu Squad Leader's upper body, slipping his arms under his armpits and crossing his hands over his chest. Liu Squad Leader's arms instinctively lifted weakly as his body slid downward. With all his strength, Dent clutched just below Liu Squad Leader's neck; he dared not touch his head because if he lost grip there, he would have no choice but to choke him—an outcome too terrible to contemplate. 0

Despite the awkwardness of the maneuver, Liu Squad Leader's legs successfully dangled down and, guided by Dent, exited the Sealed Chamber. Dent let out a quiet sigh of relief as he grasped Liu Squad Leader's hands and pulled him through the hatch. 0

At that moment, he heard a faint voice beneath him: "You stepped on my hand." 0

The voice was weak and feeble. Upon hearing it, Dent felt an overwhelming surge of joy—it was Cao Mingzhe! He had regained consciousness. Finally, he had help. 0

Dent hurriedly asked him, "Are you okay? If you're fine, come help me." 0

Cao Mingzhe replied again, "You stepped on my hand." 0

Damn it! In his excitement earlier, Dent had forgotten about that detail. He looked down and saw that he was indeed stepping on Cao Mingzhe's hand, which had become deformed underfoot. While holding onto Liu Squad Leader earlier, he hadn't steadied himself properly. 0

Quickly lifting his foot so Cao Mingzhe could retract his hand, Dent asked, "How is it? Does it hurt?" Cao Mingzhe glanced at his swollen and misshapen hand and replied, "A bit." Yet there was no expression of unbearable pain on his face. Seeing this made Dent realize that Cao Mingzhe might have been dazed from the fall; he couldn't rely on him for much help now. All he could say was, "Check yourself for injuries and wait here for me. I’ll get Liu Squad Leader out." 0

"Cao Mingzhe," he said, "don't save him; he's a bad person." I quickly asked, "Why is he a bad person? What did Li Squad Leader do to him?" Cao Mingzhe furrowed his brow and thought for a moment before seriously replying, "I can't remember, but I know he's a bad person." 0

Hearing this, I realized that his condition was not much better. His head was injured, causing some memory loss, and most importantly, his sensory nerves were damaged, leaving him somewhat numb to pain. This was critical; pain is a protective mechanism of the body. Without it, he couldn't protect his injuries or even perform simple treatments like bandaging. If he moved around carelessly, it could worsen his condition. 0

Still holding Liu Squad Leader in my arms, I had no strength to take care of him right now. I told Cao Mingzhe, "Stay here and don't move. I'll be back soon." 0

Cao Mingzhe nodded. "Are we saved?" 0

I really didn't have the energy to waste here and ignored him as I gritted my teeth and set Liu Squad Leader down. 0

I managed to carry Liu Squad Leader through the two Sealed Chambers and laid him down in the lower Sealed Chamber before I could exit myself and then drag him out from there. During this process, Xiao Guolin cooperatively protected the two injured individuals, seemingly understanding my intentions without needing to ask. 0

I directly carried Liu Squad Leader out of the rescue pod and cleared a space to lay him flat. Exhausted, I collapsed beside him, gasping for breath and tearing off my mask to throw it away. I was utterly drained. 0

At that moment, I noticed a pair of feet standing quietly nearby. A cold sweat broke out on me as I looked up to see Cao Mingzhe. He had somehow come out without me noticing and was watching me nonchalantly. I felt an urge to jump up and hit him; not only was he not helping, but he was also scaring me. 0

Xiao Guolin seemed inspired by my actions as well; he crawled out of the Sealed Chamber and was trying to pull the soldier out with some effort. However, it was tough for him to do so alone, and after a while without success, he turned to me with a pleading look. 0

I gritted my teeth and stood up, first addressing Cao Mingzhe: "Stay here and don't move; I'm going to help Xiao Team." 0

Cao Mingzhe nodded again and pointed at Liu Squad Leader. "He's not a good person." 0

Looking into Cao Mingzhe's determined eyes made me worry about what he might do against Liu Squad Leader while my back was turned. But with someone in his state, I had no good options. Forcing a smile, I told him, "Wait for Xiao Team to come over; you can go with him. Just wait for me." 0

I was done; I no longer dared to chatter with him and quickly crawled into the transition chamber. The two of us swiftly dragged the warrior out of the Sealed Chamber, and I crawled back in to retrieve two first aid kits. When I emerged, Liu Squad Leader had regained consciousness. 0

He must have woken up from the pain. To get him out, I grabbed both of his hands, including the broken left arm, and pulled him out with all my strength. As soon as Liu Squad Leader came to, a layer of sweat appeared on his face at a visible speed, contorting in agony as he couldn't utter a word. 0

The first aid kit contained Morphine, and I quickly injected him with a dose. Gradually, color returned to Liu Squad Leader's face. He managed to say two things; the first made his face turn pale again, while the second changed the expressions of everyone around us. 0

His first question was, "Where's Captain Song?" 0

Xiao Guolin must have heard my shout and naturally knew that Song Guilong was missing. I had no intention of hiding it from Liu Squad Leader and replied, feeling quite frustrated, "Song Guilong ran away." 0

His second question was, "Where's my gun?" 0
