'Pa' Fatty knocked my hand pointed at him away very hard and stared at me: "This is the last time with you. , I have nothing to do with A San, I’m normal, not as dirty as you think.” Fatty seemed to be really angry, and the fierce light in his eyes made me feel a little unnatural. The gaze that can give me chills puts more pressure on Vietnamese. A San's body was leaning toward me. I thought if I hadn't been there, he might have jumped up and run away. He even forgot to explain and just looked at Fatty with trepidation. "Okay" I had to compromise. "Let's not let this matter go for now." "You don't want me" Fatty became more energetic. 'The moment you saw me making eye contact with A San, I was asking him something. After leaving Underground Cavern, he seemed to have heard no more valuable information. I suspect the Hakka People discovered something and they are avoiding my monitoring. ' Fatty's the second half of the sentence was directed at me through lip-syncing. I turned my attention to Vietnamese, and A San immediately nodded to me and thought for a moment: 'I can still hear other people's whispers. My ability has not been lost, but some conversations have suddenly stopped, just like us. Suddenly switched to lip-syncing to communicate. There are also some places where I can't hear you even if you speak loudly. When you and Brother Gang went to meet Hakka Clan Leader, I couldn't hear your words. When you entered his house, all the sounds disappeared. But before, I could still hear the sound of you and Brother Gang talking outside his house. ' 0
I chose to skip over the questions I couldn't understand or explain. We didn't have time to get tangled up in these issues; we needed to communicate the information we could understand as quickly as possible. The questions that couldn't be understood for now would have to be resolved slowly later. 0

"What about Tang Yumo? Can you hear her voice? Where is she right now?" I asked about the person I was most concerned about, the one whose whereabouts puzzled and eluded my understanding. 0

"She has disappeared. After she left us, there has been no news, no sign of her voice. I've tried to reach out to her, but with no results. Moreover, I haven't heard anyone in the Village mention her, as if they had been ordered to keep quiet. It's like no one is allowed to speak her name." 0

"Have you heard anyone in the Village talk about us?" 0

"Yes, but not much. They don't have a good impression of us; there are outright curses. I assume you wouldn't want to hear those words." 0

I shot a glance at Vietnamese; wasn't that obvious? Who would want to be insulted? It seemed that the people in this Village were filled with hostility towards us, and their decision to keep us here must have some ulterior motive, possibly even significant danger awaiting us. 0

Suddenly, Fatty snapped his fingers, drawing my and Vietnamese's attention. 0

"How did you communicate with her? Mine is Tang Yumo," Fatty said, directing his words at A San. Then he turned his gaze toward me. "Do you understand?" 0

I thought for a moment before realizing this was what Vietnamese had just expressed. My focus had been on Tang Yumo's whereabouts, and I had overlooked Vietnamese's statement. 0

I shook my head in confusion. Fatty immediately turned his gaze back to Vietnamese. "Explain it to us." 0

Vietnamese slapped his own mouth, looking regretful for what he had just said. 0

"You have to promise not to think I'm crazy, and don't treat me like a monster, or else I won't..." 0

"Shut the hell up," Fatty said, slapping Vietnamese on the head. "Enough with the nonsense. Hurry up." 0

A San covered his head and leaned closer to me. "Brother Qiang, you have to help me out here." 0

I had no choice but to look at him seriously. "Well, you're more normal than us. That Fatty clearly has a mood disorder; don't provoke him." 0

Vietnamese nodded. "Alright, I will." 0

"Damn," Fatty cursed, moving a chair to sit next to me. 0

Most of our conversation was conducted through lip reading, which required intense focus on each other's lips, sometimes supplemented by expressions and gestures. But now A San was so scared of Fatty that he kept his distance and faced me completely while speaking. Fatty sat across from me, only able to see the back of A San's head. 0

Vietnamese looked at Fatty with a mournful expression. "My ears have always been good, and they still are. Can you hear the sounds from next door?" 0

I shook my head. Fatty leaned forward. "That's just common sense." 0

After holding back for a moment, Fatty mouthed, "We don't have that kind of special ability, so of course we can't hear." 0

A San shrank his head slightly. "I can hear it; I used to be able to hear it too. As long as I listen carefully, I can always hear some sounds that others can't. It's innate, unlike the sudden hearing anomaly from the Underground Cavern. 0

Now, if I focus on listening to someone's conversation, that person's voice becomes clear in my ears, as if they are speaking directly to me. I don't need to see them; just by concentrating on someone, their voice will appear. But I can't perceive Tang Yumo. Can you understand? Is something wrong with me?" 0

"Yes, you're in big trouble," Fatty said, his eyes wide open, making a fierce expression with his lips. "You're practically a mutant now; we should lock you in a cage when we get back." 0

With a thud, Vietnamese's legs went weak, and he slid off the chair, landing on the floor with a thump. 0

I shot Fatty a glare. "Can you act a little more serious? Is scaring him really necessary?" 0

Fatty grinned widely. "Scaring people is his specialty. When I found him and Lao People, he even tried to threaten me by using your and American Guy's whereabouts against me. The fact that I didn't take him out on the spot was already showing him some mercy." 0

I had no words in response. Why does everyone seem so clueless? Why provoke Fatty? Just look at his demeanor; he doesn't exactly come off as a friendly type. If you run into him, there's nothing I can do to help you. 0

I pulled Vietnamese up from the ground and pointed to the corner where he had made his makeshift bed. "Go rest over there. He's just trying to scare you; don't take it seriously." 0

A San trembled, unable to even look at Fatty anymore. 0

I suddenly grabbed him, pointing my thumb back. "What did Bai Ta and Xiao Ting go out to do?" 0

Vietnamese shook his head like a rattle, not daring to say a word. I tilted my head and saw Fatty ’s big eyes glaring at A San right next to my ear. 0

I had no choice but to wave him off. "Take a break." 0

A San took a couple of steps before turning back, looking at me as if he had something on his mind. 0

"There’s something I think I should tell you. It feels strange, but those three Hakka People seem to know you. When I just met with Brother Gang, I heard them mention you and whisper about you." 0

I shrugged. Of course, they knew me; Tang Yumo called my name the first time she saw me. But that must have been Fatty and Xiao Ting telling them. 0

"Yes, they know me," I said lightly. 0

But in an instant, I couldn’t feel lighthearted anymore. I saw a ghostly expression suddenly appear on A San's face. (To Be Continued...) 0
