At the end of the annual magic school competition, Mr. Magellan stood on the wide stage of the grand hall, with light pouring down from the huge crystal chandelier at the top, adding a touch of mystery and grandeur to the event. The entire school's faculty, students, and guests were dressed in their finest, and the air in the hall quivered with anticipation.
Arya and her team won second place in the annual magic competition, standing on either side of Mr. Magellan. Her teammates - Garys, Logan, and Selena - also smiled, enjoying the attention and applause from the crowd.

Her precise and bold actions ultimately pierced through Evan's defense with a move called "Light Piercing," securing her victory in the competition. She made history by entering the top 100 of the cross-grade magic competition, ranking 70th, the youngest in the academy's history to achieve such a feat, becoming a junior magician in the top 100 of the magic academy's rankings at the age of seven.
It's a pity for Garys, who was clearly on the verge of winning a match and entering the top 100 rankings, but lost due to a rare special high-level light attack from the opponent. Otherwise, he could have achieved the same result as Arya.

The brief yet intense memory of the dark magic wave during Gary's recent match was still fresh in his mind, prompting him to decide to conduct a thorough investigation.
"This child, could he really be hiding some secret?" Elven muttered, determination shining in his eyes.
As the headmaster of the Magic Academy, he noticed Garys exhibiting unusual abilities when he seemed to want to use dark magic during the failed match. Although the dark magic quickly dissipated, Elven's sixth sense told him something was off, so he began secretly observing him.
He summoned a trusted scout from the academy and arranged for him to infiltrate Garys's dormitory to search for possible evidence. The scout is a young wizard named Loewe, skilled in invisibility and silence spells.
Loewe silently entered Garys's room, unaware that he had stepped into a carefully laid trap. Garys seemed to have a premonition and set up an illusion trap that would activate upon touch.
When Loewe came into contact with what seemed like an ordinary book, the entire room suddenly darkened, and countless illusions swarmed out, each one taking on the form of Garys, mocking and attacking Loewe from all directions.
"Are you ready to face the consequences of trying to uncover the secrets of the darkness?" The illusion of Garys said coldly. Loewe tried to resist these illusions, but quickly realized that his spells were almost ineffective against this powerful illusionism. He reluctantly sought an opportunity to escape, only to find that every door and window had been sealed by illusionism.
Just as Loewe felt despair, the illusion of Garys approached him, and a dark energy suddenly appeared in his hand. "You shouldn't have come here, but I won't let you leave with these secrets."
Then, Garys gently touched Loewe's forehead, and a stream of dark energy slowly entered his mind. Loewe felt dizzy, and as the dark energy penetrated, his memories began to distort and deform.
