When Loewe regained consciousness, he found himself standing in the academy, holding a few books, with no memory of the previous events. A new memory surfaced in his mind: he had come to investigate Garys's unusual behavior, but ultimately found nothing out of the ordinary.

Elven decided to delve deeper into this information. He summoned several senior wizards from the academy and formed a secret team to begin an in-depth study of Guilas's history and magic. They discovered that before being sealed, Guilas left behind several prophecies hinting at the possibility of his power reappearing in the mortal realm.
At the same time, Garys felt the pressure from the dean and began to be more careful in concealing his actions. During a random patrol of the academy, Garys accidentally revealed a moment of his true power, which was witnessed by a new teacher named Sela. She had an unusually keen sense of magic perception and felt that Garys' magic was different from others, so she decided to secretly follow him, hoping to discover more.
Garys noticed Sela's tracking and decided to set a test to see Sela's true intentions. He led Sela into a remote forest, filled with carefully designed illusion traps. As soon as Sela entered the forest, she found herself lost in a magical realm filled with magical creatures.
Garys and Sela confronted each other in the forest, engaging in a thrilling magical duel. Sela excelled in using Natural magic, summoning powerful roots and vines in an attempt to bind Garys, who responded with his mastery of illusions and dark magic.
As the battle raged on, Garys began to feel the mounting pressure, gradually revealing his true power. At the climax of the battle, Garys unleashed a powerful dark explosion, shrouding the entire forest in darkness.
Sela struggled, but in the end, she was overwhelmed by Garys' power. Just as she was about to be completely consumed by dark magic, Garys suddenly stopped. He didn't want this trial to turn into a slaughter. He approached Sela and whispered to her to forget everything. Then he lightly touched her forehead, using dark magic to implant a false memory in Sela's mind, making her remember only a normal forest adventure.
When Sela woke up, she found herself lying in the academy's infirmary, with only a vague memory of the forest. Meanwhile, Garys continued to keep his secret, quietly waiting for the next challenge.
