Wanyi actually remembered Zhao Yanqing's poem. 0

I covered my face and fell silent. 0

Tang Mufeng had been sitting beside me, quietly watching me and Wanyi. After Wanyi left, he finally spoke up, "Miss..." 0

"Yes?" I lowered my hand and looked at him. 0

Tang Mufeng hesitated, "You just..." 0

"What about just now?" 0

"You just..." Tang Mufeng frowned, "Were you praising Third Young Master?" 0

I was taken aback. 0

I stared wide-eyed at Tang Mufeng. What was this brat doing? 0

"Do you think my literary talent is inferior to Second Young Master?" Tang Mufeng mumbled, "We've competed before; how do you know I'm worse than him?" 0

I sighed inwardly. I knew he wasn't any worse than Zhao Yanqing. But right now, my priority was to cut off any budding feelings between Wanyi and Zhao Yanqing. 0

"What do you know?" I shot a glare at Tang Mufeng. "I have my own plans." 0

Tang Mufeng remained silent, looking at me with a complex expression. But I could sense that he seemed upset. 0

Was he angry? Why was he angry? Was it because I wasn't nice enough to him? 0

But I had already been good enough to him. I had given him everything he wanted; what more could he ask for? After some thought, I decided to make one more effort. I spent a considerable amount of money hiring a renowned university professor to teach at our residence every day, covering poetry, literature, and etiquette. 0

Of course, I wasn't genuinely interested in learning these things. My main goal was to cultivate Tang Mufeng. Although Tang Mufeng was highly skilled in martial arts, he was indeed lacking compared to Zhao Yanqing when it came to poetry and etiquette. Zhao Yanqing was a refined gentleman, while Tang Mufeng was just a mere warrior. I wanted Tang Mufeng to surpass Zhao Yanqing in knowledge and talent, hoping that it might catch Wanyi's attention. 0

However… I was thinking too much. Tang Mufeng simply wasn't cut out for studying. He couldn't even hold a fountain pen properly! 0

"Miss, what is this..." The professor looked at me in confusion. 0

"Ahem." I cleared my throat. "Teacher, don't mind me; just teach him." 0

"But..." The professor looked troubled. "You are the student." 0

I was speechless. I bit my lip and turned to Tang Mufeng. "Are you willing to learn?" 0

Tang Mufeng nodded without hesitation. "I am willing." 0

"Alright then." I said to the professor, "You can teach him; I'll just listen from the side." 0

The professor remained silent. 0

In the days that followed, I accompanied Tang Mufeng to class every day. To be honest, those poems and literary works were incredibly dull. After listening for a while, I started dozing off. 0

Tang Mufeng looked at the situation and quietly said to the professor, "Sir, the young lady is tired. How about we call it a day?" 0
The professor sighed, closing his book. "Alright, we'll stop here for today." 0
I opened my eyes and glanced at Tang Mufeng. 0
He smiled at me and said, "Miss, you can rest now." 0
I thought to myself, this guy is really considerate. 0
Unfortunately... he isn't mine. 0
The more thoughtful he was, the less willing I felt to let him go to Wanyi. 0
I pulled Tang Mufeng's arm and rested my head on it. 0
His body stiffened for a moment before he relaxed. 0
He gently patted my back and asked, "Miss, are you tired?" 0
"No," I mumbled, "just stay with me for a while." 0
"Okay," Tang Mufeng replied softly. 0
I closed my eyes and began to drift off to sleep. 0
Tang Mufeng's arm was quite firm, pressing against my cheek uncomfortably. 0
But I didn't want to let go of him. 0
It seemed he noticed as well; he reached out with his other hand and propped it under my cheek. 0
That was definitely much more comfortable. 0
I sighed contentedly and fell into a deep sleep. 0
