Chu Yun and her teammates entered the next room of the Demon Lord's Palace and discovered a spacious hall with a huge crystal ball in the center. Surrounding the crystal ball were four stone statues, each holding a different weapon and facing in four different directions.
"These statues seem to have some kind of connection to this crystal ball. We need to figure out the correct activation sequence," Chu Yun carefully observed the surroundings, trying to find clues.
Liu Qing approached a statue holding a sword and felt a chilling aura emanating from it, resonating with his knowledge of Frozen Episode. "Let me give it a try," he said. Placing his hand on the sword's hilt, he silently recited the incantation of Frozen Episode. Frosty ice flowers began to condense on the blade, gradually spreading across the entire body of the statue.
Meanwhile, Xiao Zhe approached another statue holding a shield and sensed the power of wind emanating from it, aligning with his own Heart of the Wind. Taking a deep breath, Xiao Zhe focused his energy and pushed his palm forward, causing a gust of wind to emanate from his hand. The patterns on the shield began to spin in the wind, emitting a soft sound.
Fang Yi observed a deity holding a staff with a glowing gem embedded in its head, which seemed to have some resemblance to his Philosopher's stone. He approached and gently brought the Philosopher's stone close to the staff, causing a slight vibration and radiance between the two, then the gem on the staff lit up, emitting a soft glow.
Finally, Liang Xiao faced the last deity holding a hammer, which emitted a surging flame power. Without hesitation, his Flame Armor was filled with intense fire elements. He reached out and touched the hammer, causing the flame to merge with it, and the deity's eyes instantly lit up with a blazing fire.
When the four statues were activated simultaneously, the central crystal ball suddenly emitted a dazzling light, causing the ground of the entire hall to shake. A hidden passage leading to the next level slowly opened. Chu Yun and her team exchanged a glance, and a knowing smile blossomed on their faces.
"It seems like every step is testing our cooperation and understanding," Chu Yun said, then took the lead towards the newly opened passage. "No matter what lies ahead, as long as we stand united, nothing can stop us."
As the passage to the next trial slowly opened, Chu Yun and her team nervously entered a huge circular arena. In the center of the arena stood a towering structure made of obsidian, its tower top shimmering with dazzling light, seemingly the key to this trial.
The audience seats around were empty, with only the cold sound of the wind and faint mysterious music adding to the mystery and oppression of the battle. Chu Yun tightened his grip on Thunderstone, feeling a slight vibration in his hand, knowing that the upcoming battle would be intense.
Suddenly, four stone warriors rose from the base of the tower, each wearing armor representing a different element: fire, water, wind, and earth. They moved agilely, their eyes shining with a life force not typical of stone statues, clearly endowed with some mysterious power.
"It looks like this time we need to face the Elemental Guardian," analyzed Fang Yi, as his smart mirror quickly scanned the opponent, searching for possible weaknesses.
Liang Xiao stepped forward, striding towards the Fire Elemental Guardian with Flame Armor emitting scorching flames, countering the opponent's fire. He wielded the Dragon Soul Sword, the blade drawing a blazing line of fire, heading straight for the stone enemy.
Liu Qing faced the Water Elemental Guardian and used the power of Frozen Episode to rapidly freeze the surrounding water sources, attempting to restrict its freedom of movement. The collision of ice and water produced a burst of steam and frost, instantly obscuring the battlefield.
Xiao Zhe and Yun Xiang each confronted the guardians of wind and earth. Xiao Zhe used the power of Heart of the Wind to increase the movement speed of the team members, while Yun Xiang used the melody of Xianyin Qin to weaken the enemies' attack power and disrupt their formation.
Intense battle rages on, with each team member showcasing their unique skills and tactical wisdom. Chu Yun becomes the linchpin of this battle, as with the assistance of Lei Ling, she concentrates her power to unleash a thunderstorm, dealing widespread high-intensity damage to all enemies.
"Now, Lei Ling!" Chu Yun shouts, and as the thunderstorm erupts at the center of the battlefield, the powerful thunder not only strikes all the stone guardians but also triggers a series of mechanisms at the tower top, guiding that dazzling light onto the battlefield.
A huge beam of light formed, piercing through the tower and shattering its stone exterior. As the beam dissipated, the top of the tower revealed a sparkling gem, emitting enough light to illuminate the entire arena, showcasing the true reward of this trial.
"This is the legendary Heart of the Element," exclaimed Fang Yi in astonishment. "It is said to bestow upon its owner the power to control all elements!" Each member of the team was excited by this Discover, knowing it was not only a great victory but also a significant turning point in their journey.
With the disintegration of the Stone Guardian, the atmosphere in the entire arena became relaxed. Team members gathered around the radiant Heart of the Element, attempting to comprehend the significance of this victory. Chu Yun cautiously reached out towards the Heart of the Element, and as her fingertips touched the cool surface of the gem, a powerful force surged through her entire body, making her feel an even stronger connection with Lei Ling.
"I can feel that this gem will not only enhance our strength, but also enable us to better understand and manipulate various elements," Chu Yun turned to her teammates, determination shining in her eyes.
Liu Qing, Fang Yi, Xiao Zhe and Yun Xiang also felt the power emanating from the Heart of the Element, and their faces showed anticipation and excitement. Liang Xiao burst into laughter and high-fived, "This adventure was truly worth it!"
The team took a brief rest in the arena, using the time to recover and heal from their injuries after the victory. They knew that even though this trial was over, the depths of the Demon Lord's Palace still held many unknown challenges.
"No matter what lies ahead, as long as we are together, nothing can stop us from moving forward," Chu Yun said firmly, and the teammates nodded in agreement. After regrouping, they were determined to continue their exploration of the Demon Lord's Palace, searching for more treasures.
As they continued their journey, every step in the Demon Lord's Palace was filled with new adventures and challenges. With the power of the Heart of the Element, they were filled with confidence and anticipation for the future. Each of them held a common goal in their hearts - to strive for higher realms together and face all difficulties hand in hand.
