Standing before you is Ma Yanhong, a woman who has been dubbed one of the most beautiful female death row inmates after brutally killing and dismembering four people.

On that morning, the police in Jiamusi City received a report from a citizen who claimed to have discovered several plastic bags while walking near a bridge. Initially frowning in confusion, he thought they were just trash meant for the bin. However, upon closer inspection, he realized that the bags contained human thighs, causing his face to turn pale as he stumbled back in terror.
Upon receiving the report, the police quickly arrived at the scene to conduct an investigation. To confirm the identity of the deceased, forensic experts attempted to piece together the body parts.
Unfortunately, due to the incomplete nature of the remains—specifically the absence of a head—authorities were unable to identify the victim with the forensic technology available at that time. They could only deduce certain characteristics such as height and age from clues found on the body parts.
Additionally, observations of yellowed fingernails and well-developed muscles suggested that the victim had likely been a smoker who spent long hours working in an office.
At that moment, investigators suddenly noticed that the method used in this case bore striking similarities to an unsolved dismemberment case from years prior.
In September 1994, there had been an incident in Jiamusi where a family of three was murdered and dismembered. Due to limitations in forensic technology at that time, no progress had been made on that case, and the killer remained at large.
With such similar methods employed in both cases, could it be possible that they were committed by the same perpetrator?
To uncover the truth, it was imperative to quickly identify the deceased.
Thus, local authorities issued a public notice seeking information about the remains. However, to avoid alarming potential suspects, they did not disclose that the victim had been murdered; instead, they stated that a man in his thirties, approximately 1.8 meters tall, had died in a traffic accident.
Not long after, an elderly man rushed into the police station to report a case. His steps were hurried, and his eyes were filled with anxiety and worry. He claimed that the man described in the news bore a striking resemblance to his son, who had been missing for several days.
Although the man's body was disfigured, the elderly man recognized it immediately as that of his son, Dong Daqing, and tears streamed down his face as he spoke.
The police then arrived at Dong Daqing's residence. When they opened the door, everyone was stunned. The floor was covered in dried blood and uncleaned remnants of flesh, with blood splattered all over the walls and furniture. Forensic analysis confirmed that the blood matched the dismembered body parts.
The police determined that Dong Daqing's home was indeed the first crime scene of the incident.
What puzzled everyone was that Dong Daqing was known to be honest and straightforward. Although he had been divorced, he had no bad habits and held no grudges against anyone. So who could have possibly wanted him dead?
According to a friend of Dong Daqing, the last time he saw him was on June 1st. When he visited Dong Daqing's home, his girlfriend, Ren Xiuer, greeted him with an unnatural smile and said that her boyfriend had gotten drunk and was already asleep. He thought nothing of it, shrugged helplessly, and left.
Investigations revealed that Ren Xiuer was a very beautiful girl whom Dong Daqing had met through a marriage agency.
As Dong Daqing's girlfriend, she had not reported his disappearance after so many days and had vanished herself. This unusual behavior immediately raised suspicions with the police; if she wasn't a victim herself, she must have known something.
However, the police soon discovered that all of Ren Xiuer's information was fabricated, indicating that she was a prime suspect in the crime.
The police analyzed that since Ren Xiuer had taken Dong Daqing's bankbook, she would likely try to withdraw money from the bank. They promptly dispatched additional personnel to stake out various banks.
Sure enough, after a long wait, the police finally apprehended her at one of the banks.
During interrogation, Ren Xiuer revealed her real name: Ma Yanhong. She was 28 years old and hailed from Huachuan County.
Shockingly, Ma Yanhong not only confessed to killing Dong Daqing for money but also admitted to murdering a family of three in September 1994.
How could such a beautiful woman, who seemed harmless at first glance, turn into a female demon capable of murder and dismemberment for money?
Born in 1967 in Jiamusi City’s Huachuan County to an ordinary farming family, Ma Yanhong became an extraordinary beauty known throughout the countryside due to her stunning looks, attracting countless suitors.
When she grew up, Ma Yanhong married a wealthy man from her village, but the marriage did not last long, and they divorced due to financial issues.
In order to make a living, Ma Yanhong chose to leave her hometown and ventured alone to Jiamusi City, starting a small business.
However, running a business was not as easy as she had hoped. She quickly lost all her savings due to poor management and accumulated significant debt, unable even to pay her rent.
The difficulties of life weighed heavily on Ma Yanhong, causing her to frown deeply, her eyes filled with resentment. She felt it was unfair that someone with an angelic face like hers had to live such a miserable life.
At that moment, the landlord's appearance sparked a wicked thought in Ma Yanhong's mind.
With her head slightly lowered and a cunning glint in her eyes, she lamented her tragic circumstances to the landlord, hoping to delay her rent payment.
The landlord was a kind-hearted man who sympathized with Ma Yanhong's plight. Not only did he refrain from pressuring her for rent, but he also lent her several hundred yuan. Little did he know that his compassion would lead to his own downfall.
Ma Yanhong was aware that the landlord's family was quite wealthy and had already devised a plan to rob them.
On a day in September 1994, while the landlord invited her for dinner, Ma Yanhong nervously poured the poison she had prepared into the soup, rendering the landlord and his family unconscious.
As she stole 5,000 yuan and prepared to flee the scene, fear gripped her at the thought of the landlord waking up and calling the police. Without hesitation, she seized a kitchen knife and viciously killed the landlord and his family before dismembering their bodies and disposing of the remains in a deserted area by the river.
In the 1990s, 5,000 yuan was not an insignificant amount; however, it would not last long given Ma Yanhong's extravagant spending. Seeing that the police had yet to catch her, she changed her name to Ren Xiuer after exhausting the money and went to a marriage agency.
On the surface, she sought a wealthy husband based on her beauty, but in reality, she aimed to find rich targets for robbery through this means.
Soon enough, through connections at the marriage agency, Dong Daqing, an honest man with decent conditions, became her boyfriend and they began living together.
At the end of May 1995, Dong Daqing proposed to Ma Yanhong. To show his sincerity, he presented his savings book revealing he had 20,000 yuan saved up and assured her he could provide her with a happy life.
Unbeknownst to him, this gesture brought him one step closer to death.
On June 1st, Ma Yanhong wore a false smile on her face, pretending to accept Dong Daqing's marriage proposal while deliberately preparing a lavish meal to celebrate.
In reality, she felt the time was right to execute her plan once again. She had poisoned the food, rendering Dong Daqing unconscious, and then proceeded to dismember him with a kitchen knife before disposing of his remains.
The entire process was familiar to her; there was not a trace of emotion on her face, her gaze as cold as if she were regarding an inanimate object.
Ma Yanhong believed that if the police could not identify the victim, they would be unable to solve the case.
However, unbeknownst to her, the police found a way to confirm that the deceased was Dong Daqing, leading them to trace back and apprehend her.
Not long after, the court began hearings for the case. To everyone's surprise, Ma Yanhong changed her testimony in court, claiming she had been coerced by a man named Wang.
Coincidentally, there was indeed a man named Wang who was wanted for murder and had gone into hiding.
To uncover the truth, the police spent three years overcoming numerous obstacles to finally capture Wang.
The investigation revealed that the two had no connection whatsoever; it was purely Ma Yanhong's fabrication.
In 1998, after all the facts were established by the police, Ma Yanhong was executed by firing squad.
Thus ended the life of a once-beautiful woman, who met her deserved fate.
