As the company established its presence in the market, my career reached a new peak. However, I never forgot my original intention—to create a better life for my family. Every time I received my salary, I would send money home on time, ensuring that my sisters' tuition fees and our family's daily expenses were covered. My parents would always say on the phone, "Wei'er, you’ve worked hard; we are proud of you." My sisters' grades improved steadily, and their homeroom teacher often called to praise their progress. Each time I heard this news, I felt immense comfort and pride.
Despite my busy work schedule, I made sure to take time to call my family and check on their well-being. I reminded them that no matter how great the difficulties we faced, as long as we worked together, there was no challenge we couldn't overcome. Their support and encouragement became my greatest motivation to move forward.
Finally, after several years of hard work, I decided to surprise my family. I took a week off and returned to my long-missed hometown. This time, it wasn't for my father's birthday celebration but to provide them with a brand-new living environment. With the savings I had accumulated over the years, I bought a spacious and bright new house located in a small town near the village. This house not only had modern amenities but also retained the tranquility and beauty of the countryside.
On the day I returned home, I chose a sunny weekend. Driving a brand-new sedan, I entered the village. The village children looked at me curiously; some recognized me and excitedly shouted, "Sister Li Wei is back!" I smiled and waved at them, feeling warmth in my heart.
When I arrived at the doorstep, my parents and sisters were sitting in the yard enjoying the sun. They were momentarily stunned by my sudden appearance but quickly stood up and rushed toward me with excitement. Tears shimmered in my father's eyes as my mother tightly embraced me, repeatedly saying, "Wei'er, you've really grown up; we are so proud of you."
My two sisters also rushed over with excitement and hugged me tightly. Li Na smiled and said, "Sister, you are amazing! We never imagined you would bring us such a big surprise." Li Mei echoed, "Yes, sister, we are truly proud of you."
I looked at them with a smile, filled with satisfaction and happiness. I took them on a tour of the new house; each room was decorated warmly and comfortably. My father walked into the spacious living room and gazed at the modern furniture and appliances with deep emotion: "Wei'er, you are truly wonderful; we don't know what to say."
Meanwhile, my mother busied herself in the kitchen preparing a sumptuous dinner. At the dining table, our family of five gathered together in harmony. My father raised his glass and said, "Today, we are reunited here; thank you, Wei'er, for everything you've done for us. We are proud of you and hope your future path will be broader."
My sisters also raised their glasses to express their gratitude towards me. We reminisced about past moments, recalling those difficult times while looking forward to a bright future. Tears glistened in my mother's eyes, but her lips remained curled in a smile as she said: "Wei'er, you've always been so sensible since childhood; now you make us even prouder. We believe your future will only get brighter."
After dinner, our family took a walk in the yard under the tranquil night sky. The stars shone brightly as a gentle breeze blew; everything felt so beautiful. My father pointed to the fields in the distance and said affectionately: "Wei'er, this land has nurtured us and witnessed your growth. Always remember your roots; no matter where you go, remember to come back."
I nodded with deep emotion in my heart. "Dad, Mom, rest assured; I will never forget my roots. No matter where I go, I will remember your teachings and strive to be a responsible person."
My sisters also expressed their determination to study harder and live up to my expectations. Li Na said: "Sister, you've always been our role model. We will work hard so that one day we can contribute to our family and society just like you."
Li Mei added, "Yes, sister, we will do our best. I hope that one day we can be useful people like you."
Hearing my sisters' promises filled my heart with hope and happiness. I knew that all these efforts were worth it. I had not only created better living conditions for my family but also given them more hope and motivation.
The day after returning to the city, I went back to work with a sense of fulfillment. The internal crisis at the company had passed, but I knew this was just a new beginning. As the president of the company, I bore greater responsibilities and missions. I decided to use the experience from this crisis to drive deeper changes within the company, enhancing its competitiveness and market position.
I continued to optimize the company's internal management mechanisms, improve Technological Innovation Capability, expand into International Markets, and fulfill our social responsibilities. Behind every success was the support and encouragement of my family.
