The slanting sun cast a warm glow over the smoky willows, with vibrant autumn colors reflected in the tranquil lake. Golden reeds lined the shore, and a bamboo arch bridge gracefully spanned the water, resembling a delicate maiden leaning over the lake's surface.
Behind the lake stood a vast estate, its crimson sign boldly displaying three gilded characters—"Ling Tai Valley."
