Eudiana hurriedly reinforced her "Holy Light Bastion," making the light even more dazzling, forcefully blocking the onslaught of the tide, and splashing water everywhere. Arya took the opportunity to use her new skill, "Shadow Rift Wave," shooting a beam of dark energy from her hand directly at the core of the water elemental.
"Watch this, Arya!" Eudiana shouted loudly, raising her staff high and guiding the surrounding light elements. The light gathered, forming a powerful attack called "Falling Star," spectacularly converging light and power into a shining star, then fiercely crashing towards the "Abyssal Guardian."
The convergence of the two forces created a huge shockwave, causing massive waves on the surrounding water surface. The water elemental creatures appeared quite distressed under this successive attack, but they quickly gathered the surrounding water vapor, attempting to launch another assault. This time, it unleashed "Wrath of the Sea," a skill that covered a wide area, with countless water columns shooting towards Arya and Eudiana.
Arya, seeing the situation becoming critical, quickly cast "Dark Veil," creating a thick layer of dark mist around them, causing the water columns to dissipate before making contact. Eudiana, in this opening, swiftly restored their magical powers, preparing for the final counterattack.
"Now, Arya!" Eudiana shouted. The two of them communicated their intentions and once again unleashed the "light-dark vortex" together. This time, the rotating energy ball was larger and more stable, carrying an overwhelming force as it charged straight at the "Abyssal Guardian."
In the face of this power, the water elemental creature finally could not maintain its form. After emitting a piercing scream, it turned into a mist of water and dispersed with the wind.
"We did it!" Arya exclaimed excitedly. She and Eudiana exchanged a smile, their understanding and strength once again proven.
Enot watched the entire process from the surveillance room and nodded in satisfaction. "They are ready to face even greater challenges," he muttered to himself, planning the next training phase. This was just one step on their journey to becoming true warriors.
Guilas stood alone in his dimly lit study, his gaze tightly fixed on the dancing flames in the fireplace. The room was filled with ancient books and mysterious artifacts, exuding a sense of ancient and mystical aura. Portraits of ancestors adorned the walls, each face bearing a stern and authoritative expression, as if scrutinizing every decision he made.
"They will never understand everything I want to do," Guilas muttered to himself, his voice echoing heavily in the study.
He remembered Arya's remarkable performance in the annual magic academy duel, summoning the "Sword of Light" for the first time. Since witnessing that scene, he had been feeling uneasy.
Suddenly, a figure flashed in the corner of the room, and Sebastian walked out slowly, his footsteps sounding particularly loud in the silence.
"Master, what instructions do you have for me?" Sebastian bowed respectfully.
Guilas turned around, his eyes shimmering with a complex light: "I need you to monitor Enot and those two children. Especially Arya, I'm worried she might truly be the reincarnation of a saint."
"I understand, master. But if she truly is the reincarnation of a saint, how should we handle it?" Sebastian asked, furrowing his brow.
"Then we can only activate Plan B," Guilas said with an unmistakable tone of cold determination.
At that moment, the door to the study was suddenly knocked, interrupting their conversation. It was Karl who entered, looking somewhat anxious.
"Master, sorry to disturb you, but there's a report outside that says Arya and Eudiana have shown extraordinary abilities during training, it seems..." Karl was interrupted by Guilas's stern gaze before he could finish his sentence.
"Karl, this is exactly what I'm worried about. Monitor their actions, I don't want any mishaps," Guilas said, then turned to Sebastian: "I'm entrusting the surveillance mission to you, I believe you will handle it properly."
Sebastian and Karl nodded, then left the room, leaving Guilas alone once again facing the flickering flames, his heart filled with unease and plans.
As night fell, Arya and Eudiana, under the guidance of Enot, entered the battle zone of the Warlock training ground.
Tonight's training involved facing off against a massive stone golem controlled by magic, known as the "Rock Guardian," to test their teamwork and combat skills.
"Remember, do not act alone. The attack of this stone statue is very powerful, and we must use wisdom to overcome it," Enot reminded, with a strategic gleam in his eyes.
Arya and Eudiana exchanged a glance, nodded to each other, and tightly gripped their magic wands, ready to face the challenge. With a command from Enot, the stone statue activated, its stone eyes suddenly glowing red, and its heavy footsteps shaking the ground.
Arya took the lead, waving her wand and chanting, "Arrow of light!" Immediately, several shining arrows shot out from the wand, heading straight for the core of the stone statue. Eudiana then used her Light Magic to create a shining shield, protecting them from attacks from the side.
The stone statue reacted swiftly, swinging its massive stone arm to knock down the airborne light arrows and launching a series of attacks towards them. The ground trembled with each of its steps, sending rocks flying.
"Watch out for the dodge!" Enot shouted loudly as he closely monitored the progress of the entire battle from the side.
Arya rolled to the side, skillfully avoiding a huge flying rock. She quickly stood up and cast her spell again: "Shadow entanglement!" A dark energy rose from the ground, coiling around the legs of the stone statue like a snake, temporarily impeding its movement.
Eudiana took the opportunity to strengthen her attack, waving her wand and shouting, "Holy light, shatter!" A dazzling light descended from the sky, hitting the stone statue and causing cracks to appear on its surface.
"Quick, now, let's do it together!" Arya called out to Eudiana, and they both wielded their wands, jointly casting their ultimate move, the "light-dark vortex." The energy of light and darkness crazily spun around them, forming a huge energy ball that surged straight towards the stone statue.
The stone statue attempted to resist, its eyes glowing red as it tried to launch a final counterattack. However, the energy of the light-dark vortex was too powerful, ultimately colliding with its core and producing a deafening explosion.
As the smoke cleared, the stone statue had shattered into countless pieces, scattered across the training ground. Arya and Eudiana showed signs of exhaustion, but they exchanged a smile and nodded satisfactorily at each other.
Enot walked over, a hint of a smile on his face: "Very good, you have shown excellent teamwork and combat skills. Your progress is impressive, keep it up."
The two modestly accepted the praise, feeling both tired and accomplished. Tonight's training not only deepened their understanding of each other, but also strengthened their confidence for the challenges ahead.
In the distant ancient castle, Guilas observed everything through a magic mirror, his brow furrowed, his plan more determined. He must ensure Arya's identity, no matter the cost, he was prepared in his heart.
