"Help me, brother! I don't want to die; I want to live and go to the Dark Side of the Moon, to that safe place!" 0

After saying this, Luo Shanhe fainted. His plea for survival was so simple and pure. 0

At that moment, Leng Fengyang felt a deep inner conflict. With one strike, Luo Shanhe's arm would be ruined. If he didn't act, the Corpse Poison was spreading, and Luo Shanhe would die right here. 0

Leng Fengyang thought of the system. He consulted it through his mind but received no response. It seemed the system also needed constant learning and upgrades. 0

"Wait!" 0

A Yan, who was driving, pointed to the bag slung over her shoulder and said to Leng Fengyang, "There are Soulgrass pills that Grandpa made inside. Let him take one. That’s how Grandpa saved you last time; maybe it will work for him too." 0

Upon hearing this, Leng Fengyang decided that in such a dire situation, he might as well try anything. 0

He opened the bag carefully and took out a tightly wrapped black pill covered in oiled paper, giving it to Luo Shanhe. 0

As the medicine took effect, Luo Shanhe's pale face gradually regained color. The pain that felt like being bitten by ants slowly faded away, and his consciousness began to clear. 0

Luo Shanhe slowly opened his eyes; the surroundings became clearer. He tried to move his body; although still a bit stiff, the fear that had loomed over him had significantly diminished. 0

"Thank you for saving my life, brother. My hand..." 0

Luo Shanhe's voice was hoarse as he looked at his intact arm, tears welling in his eyes from overwhelming emotion. 0

"It wasn't me who saved you; it was A Yan. It was her and Grandpa's herbal remedy that worked." 0

Luo Shanhe looked at A Yan, who was focused on driving in the front seat. He struggled to sit up from the back seat and patted his chest as he said, "Miss A Yan, Brother A-Feng, from now on, my life belongs to you." 0

Seeing Luo Shanhe so serious, Leng Fengyang teased him, "Brother, you know that your life is the least valuable thing here. We went through so much to pull you back from the brink of death; you have to live so we can all go to the Dark Side of the Moon together." 0

"That's right! Let's live together and go to the Dark Side of the Moon!" 0

Inside the car, laughter warmed the space for a moment. Beneath this long-lost joy lay hidden secrets they were unaware of. 0

They didn't know that Old Cabbage Head's painstakingly crafted Soulgrass could only temporarily suppress Corpse Poison and couldn't completely eliminate it. This meant that anyone infected with Corpse Poison was like a ticking time bomb, likely to turn into a corpse at any moment. 0

"The fuel tank is almost empty," A Yan said anxiously. Just as everyone prepared to speed up and catch up with the convoy, the tank's dashboard lit up red. 0

This oil guzzler's trunk was filled with real ammunition; refueling it was a top priority. 0

"There’s a gas station on Liberation Road just a few kilometers ahead." 0

After receiving the System Notification Detected Abnormal Human Transformation, Leng Fengyang couldn't help but feel a surge of exhilaration and satisfaction, praising the sudden appearance of this system. 0

He then looked at A Yan, who was focused on driving, and casually said, "A Yan, let me take over the wheel." 0

Once he took control of the vehicle, Leng Fengyang gripped the steering wheel tightly and quickly drove toward the gas station that might be five kilometers away, following the guidance of the system notification. 0

Along the way, the streets were lined with scenes of decay, an ominous silence permeating the air. The occasional faint sounds seemed like calls from another world. 0

As they drew closer, the outline of the gas station became clearer, accompanied by a stronger stench of rot and decay. 0

Leng Fengyang parked the car at a distance from the gas station and looked through the window at a chilling scene. 0

Inside the gas station, there was no sign of the usual hustle and bustle; instead, groups of staggering corpses roamed aimlessly. Some were hunched over, gnawing on long-dead bodies, while others wandered without purpose. The air was thick with a nauseating odor. 0

Leng Fengyang rolled down the window and carefully surveyed the gas station filled with wandering corpses. He glanced back at Luo Shanhe in the rear seat and said, "It looks like we're in for a tough battle." 0

Upon hearing Leng Fengyang's words, A Yan in the passenger seat felt her heart tighten. Memories of parting with Old Cabbage Head flooded her mind, along with her grandfather's meaningful and earnest words about how much harsher the outside world was compared to their cave. 0

Noticing A Yan's unease, Leng Fengyang gently lifted his hand and placed it over her trembling left hand, trying to dispel her anxiety with his warmth. 0

In the back seat, Luo Shanhe had recovered from his pain and pulled out a rifle and two grenades from the trunk. His revitalized state indicated he was ready for action. 0

"Put those away; this is a gas station. No smoking or open flames here. Are you trying to take these monsters down with you?" Leng Fengyang asked. 0

Realizing his oversight, Luo Shanhe slapped his forehead sheepishly and chuckled, "You’re right! I must be suffering from some aftereffects of being bitten." 0

Leng Fengyang shook his head helplessly. At that moment, he understood that charging recklessly at these wandering corpses would only lead to death; clever tactics were essential. 0

These monsters have keen senses, especially when it comes to anything bloody. I have an idea; we need to coordinate our efforts so we can do this safely while getting gasoline. 0

"A-Feng, what do you mean?" Luo Shanhe asked curiously. 0

Leng Fengyang snatched the dagger from Luo Shanhe's waist and cut his left hand. "I remember there's usually a small storage room behind gas stations where they keep Maintenance Tools and Fuel Barrels. We can start from there." 0

Seeing Leng Fengyang's bleeding hand made A Yan feel a pang of concern as she hesitated to speak. She was scared but understood why he was doing this. 0

"A Yan, you stay in the car and be ready to assist at any moment. I'll deal with these monsters while Lao Luo goes for gasoline." 0

With clarity in his mind and a commanding presence that left no room for hesitation, Leng Fengyang laid out their plan decisively. 0

After exchanging knowing glances filled with unspoken understanding, the three split up to execute their roles. 0

With his skills as a Grave Hunter and the advantage provided by System Notification Detected Abnormal Human Transformation, Leng Fengyang took it upon himself to attract the attention of those wandering corpses. 0

Meanwhile, while Leng Fengyang drew fire from them, Luo Shanhe quietly circled around to find an opportunity to enter the storage room behind the gas station. 0

Leng Fengyang nimbly leaped onto the roof of a broken-down old car, raising the rebar on his shoulder and began to strike it rhythmically, producing a series of metallic clinks that drew the attention of most of the undead in front of him. 0

Luo Shanhe seized the opportunity, swiftly moving through the shadows and silently approaching the warehouse. The door was secured with a rusted padlock, but Luo Shanhe was prepared. He pulled a thin wire from his pocket and skillfully manipulated it a few times until the lock clicked open. 0

He pushed the door open, and a faint smell of machine oil wafted out. Inside the warehouse were several fuel barrels filled with gasoline and some maintenance tools. Luo Shanhe glanced at the capacity marked on one of the fuel barrels; it read liters, which meant it held quite a bit. With the tank's current capacity, two barrels would be enough to fill it up. 0

Time was of the essence; Luo Shanhe couldn't afford to hesitate or be greedy. He quickly grabbed two filled fuel barrels, ready to leave the warehouse. Just then, hurried footsteps echoed from outside, causing his heart to race. He quickly calmed himself, setting down the fuel barrels and picking up a wrench from the ground, hiding behind the door to prepare for any unexpected situation. 0

The door was suddenly pushed open with force, and Leng Fengyang entered calmly yet composed, followed closely by several snarling undead. 0

"Quick! This way!" 0
