Sultry and sticky!
Victor feels like his whole body is wrapped in a quilt, making it hard to breathe and unable to move his limbs.
"Just kick the blanket away."
Victor had only this one thought left in his mind, wanting to stretch out and take a breath.
With a vigorous swing of both legs and arms, I finally managed to stick my head out.
Click.
"Finally, I can cool down."
But the cool breeze did not blow as expected. On the contrary, the surrounding temperature made him feel like he was in a furnace.
"What's going on? It's so hot, I need to turn on the fan!"
Victor struggled to open his eyes and found himself not in the familiar old rental house, but in a cave.
"Cave?" Victor's mind momentarily froze at the sight of the cave. He lifted his head slightly and was met with the image of a dragon.
A powerful and beautiful red dragon lay dormant on Treasure Mountain, its resilient tail following the contours of the mountain, its strong claws firmly grasping shimmering coins, and its majestic and domineering head covered in intricate scales.
And underneath it, in the Treasure Mountain, piles of gold coins formed a mountain, burying weapons and wands that sparkled, indicating that they could still be effective.
"Dragon, dragon, dragon!"
Victor was so shocked by the scene before him that he couldn't help but wonder if he was still dreaming. A dragon suddenly appeared in front of him, and the lifelike feeling, the intense heat, and the lingering smell of sulfur around its nostrils all told him - he had indeed traveled through.
Just as Victor was in shock, the sleeping dragon was startled by his movements. Gold coins cascaded like a waterfall from the massive body of the dragon, and came straight to Victor. The dragon widened its eyes, staring at him.
If he cannot speak his true name, it means he does not have the Inheritance of the Dragon.
All the knowledge of the dragon race, including the dragon language, magical inheritance, dragon information, dragon experiences, bloodline, and so on, are contained within the Inheritance of the Dragon. Those without the Inheritance of the Dragon are all called dragon beasts, and they are abandoned by the dragon father Mother of Dragons as soon as they are born.
Under this pressure, a large amount of knowledge suddenly surged into Victor's mind, as if it were about to burst his head. "Dragon Blood Spell," "The Adventurous Diary of Red Dragon Brian," "108 Ways to Identify Coins"... These unfamiliar pieces of information churned in his mind.
Just as Victor was about to be overwhelmed by this sudden influx of knowledge, his true name uncontrollably blurted out: "My name is Victor Lemkin..."
"Victor."
Upon hearing this name, dragon confirmed Victor's true dragon identity and once again looked him up and down. However, as the Mother of Dragons, she only briefly showed interest in her first child, then snorted loudly and returned to resting on Treasure Mountain.
The five-colored evil dragons do not have the habit of raising children. If it were not for the compulsory order of the evil dragon god Tiamat, some five-colored dragons would even swallow their eggs before they hatch.
But even with Tiamat's order, these evil dragons do not care about raising children. Some young dragons even have to resort to eating dirt to get through their youth because of their unreliable parents.
Mother of Dragons lay resting on a pile of gold coins, and a deep silence fell over the cave. Victor stood alone, surveying his surroundings. The cave was immense, and even though the dragon had already occupied a large portion of the space, there was still plenty of room for him to explore.
"Gurgle, gurgle."
Victor had not had time to carefully examine this mysterious cave before his stomach impatiently protested with hunger.
He had only been born into this strange world for a few seconds when a strong sense of hunger surged through him like a tide, engulfing his entire body.
He looked around, trying to find some food to fill his stomach, but unfortunately, there was nothing edible here except for the scattered gold coins and the sleeping figure of the Mother of Dragons. She seemed unconcerned about his hunger, only giving him a glance before returning to her slumber.
Victor felt anxious but was also helpless. He carefully searched his memories of the Dragon Clan Heritage and finally found a solution - after the birth of a dragon clan dragon, they usually eat their own eggshells as their first meal.
The eggshell still retained a hint of warmth, and although Victor felt some resistance in his heart, hunger ultimately overcame his hesitation.
He closed his eyes and carefully picked up the eggshell fragments with his tender dragon claws, placing them in his mouth. The texture of the eggshell was crispy like a biscuit, but the taste was somewhat spicy, as if it were a chili-flavored biscuit.
Victor With the powerful digestive ability of the dragon clan, Victor quickly digested the eggshell. His hunger was relieved, but he felt a wave of exhaustion and fell into a deep sleep after finishing the eggshell.
"I hope to wake up to some proper food."
This was Victor's last thought before he fell into a coma.
After Victor fell into a coma, his consciousness gradually detached from the constraints of reality and drifted into a vast and boundless void. In this space, there was no passage of time, no boundaries of space, only a deep and brilliant starry sky.
In the starry sky, countless stars are shining with dazzling light, as if they are fragments of dragon knowledge, each containing unfathomable mysteries. These stars shimmer in different colors, some as fiery as flames, some as cold as ice, and some as gentle as flowing water, weaving together to form a magnificent and mysterious picture.
"Dragon knowledge inheritance?"
Rumors have it that dragons love to sleep, and each long slumber marks the beginning of a significant increase in their power. Seeing this knowledge being passed down, Victor realized that this was not just a rumor, but a reality.
However, the vast majority of dragons do not actively seek knowledge during their slumber, as even without actively seeking it, their bloodline's growth can lead to a leap in their power.
Victor's consciousness wanders in this starry sky, and he can feel the unique aura emitted by each star. Among them, three huge stars attract him and come to him.
The three stars are dreamlike, constantly emitting a blue light around them.
Victor tried to reach out and touch them, but before he could make contact, the stars delivered a message to him.
"King of Mages: Spell learning difficulty reduced by 50%"
"The Body of the Dragon God: Each time the body is strengthened, the benefits double."
"Make a fortune every day: A gold coin appears every day."
Looking at the three stars in front of him, Victor knew that his "golden finger" as a time traveler had arrived. This would allow him to quickly rise in the alien world and gain growth far beyond that of ordinary people (or dragons).
What should he choose?
This has left Victor feeling confused. All three options seem suitable for his transformation into a dragon, but the problem is that he can only choose one.
If he were an ordinary dragon, he would choose "Make a fortune every day."
After all, dragons are extremely greedy. They won't let even a copper coin slip away from their sight, let alone the opportunity to collect gold coins without having to plunder cities.
One gold coin a day, 365 gold coins a year (for the convenience of readers, time is temporarily synchronized with Earth). In a hundred years, that's 36,500 gold coins, already a huge sum.
To know that the life of a dragon is very long, a hundred years is just the beginning of adulthood for a dragon, and there are many dragons that live to be a thousand years old.
But Victor is not an ordinary dragon; he has already ruled out "Make a fortune every day" from the very beginning.
The remaining ones are "King of Mages" and "The Body of the Dragon God".
