Late at night, Murano Rimi and Izumi Shinichi quietly approached an isolated research facility surrounded by forest. This facility is the central experimental site for Tamura Reiko and other parasites, believed to contain crucial data on parasite biology.
Rimi adjusted her night vision goggles and whispered to Shinichi, "We need to be careful here, this place could be filled with various traps and alarm systems."

"Run!" Shinichi shouted, pulling Rimi to run towards the nearby cover. They had just hidden behind the cover when the ground behind them was swept by heavy laser fire, leaving behind blackened marks.
Taking cover in safety, Shinichi quickly analyzed the situation, "It seems that the security system here is more complex than we anticipated. We need to find another way in."
Rimi looked serious as she checked her equipment, "We may need to use a more covert method to enter. Perhaps we can utilize these drainage pipes; according to the blueprint, they should lead directly to the basement of the research facility."
After some effort, they successfully entered the interior of the research facility, where a dimly lit corridor lay before them. The broken laboratory signs and scattered documents on the walls indicated that a significant amount of parasite research had been conducted here.
As they delved deeper into the exploration, suddenly, a hidden door slowly opened, revealing a group of half-human, half-beast parasites in front of them. These parasites appeared more human-like, indicating that Tamura Reiko's experiment had reached a new stage.
A battle quickly erupted. Shinichi and Rimi stood back to back, their movements coordinated seamlessly as they continuously adjusted tactics to counter the attacks of these new type of parasites. Rimi fired several shots of TX-7 tranquilizer, effectively subduing the attacking parasites.
"These new parasites fight differently from before, they seem to have a higher tactical awareness and teamwork," Rimi analyzed as she fought.
Shinichi quickly retreated after a roundhouse kick and responded, "This proves Tamura's research is evolving. We need to find that data and stop her further plans."
After the battle, they finally arrived at a secret room where all the research data on parasite was stored. Shinichi quickly copied the data onto a portable hard drive, while Rimi ensured the area was secure.
Just as they were preparing to leave, the voice of Tamura Reiko suddenly echoed in the room, speaking to them through the surveillance camera: "Izumi Shinichi, Murano Rimi, you may think you have obtained the key to victory, but this is only the beginning. My research goes far beyond this."
Facing this unknown threat, Shinichi and Rimi exchanged a glance, knowing that they might be about to face an even greater challenge. But now, armed with crucial information that could change the course of the battle, they felt hope and strength to move forward.
