In early autumn in Tokyo, the sky was a deep blue, stretching high above, while sunlight filtered through sparse clouds, draping the city in a golden cloak. However, beneath this tranquil facade, an unexpected tragedy was quietly brewing.
In the bustling Shibuya District, a luxurious villa was home to the renowned sisters, Asuka and Kazumi. Asuka, the elder by a few years, was gentle and graceful, known as a prominent painter; Kazumi, on the other hand, was a talented musician whose melodies could soothe any heart. The sisters relied on each other and led a peaceful life, becoming the envy of their neighbors.
Yet all this beauty came to an abrupt halt one moonless night. The police received reports that Asuka and Kazumi had been missing for several days. The villa stood empty, leaving behind seemingly ordinary yet mysterious clues.
Detective Silence, famed for her extraordinary reasoning skills and keen insight, was urgently summoned to investigate the case. Standing before the villa that once echoed with laughter and joy, she felt an ominous premonition rising within her.
Upon entering the villa, Silence was immediately drawn in by a faint fragrance—the scent of lavender essential oil that the sisters often used. She meticulously examined every corner of the villa, from the living room to the bedrooms, leaving no stone unturned in her search for clues.
In the study, she discovered an unfinished painting. The woman depicted had a blurred face but strikingly bright eyes that seemed to pierce through to one's soul. Silence speculated that this might be Asuka's last work; perhaps the woman in the painting represented herself or conveyed some hidden message.
In the music room stood a piano covered with a thin layer of dust, clearly untouched for quite some time. Silence gently pressed a key, and a melodious tune filled the air—Kazumi's favorite piece—each note seemed to narrate her innermost feelings.
However, these clues did not directly point to the sisters' whereabouts. Silence understood that to unravel this mystery, she needed to delve deeper into their lives and relationships.
After several days of investigation, Silence gradually pieced together a profile of the sisters' lives. Both Asuka and Kazumi had achieved remarkable success in their respective fields but lived exceptionally low-key lives with little interaction with outsiders. The only person closely related to them was their distant relative, Takahiro Kudo.
Takahiro Kudo was a wealthy businessman who frequently visited the sisters at their villa and provided them with financial support. However, as her investigation progressed, Silence found Takahiro increasingly suspicious. He not only visited the villa frequently around the time of their disappearance but also attempted to conceal his relationship with them.
Determined to uncover the truth, Silence decided to secretly follow Takahiro Kudo. After some effort, she finally located him in a secluded warehouse. There she discovered Asuka and Kazumi imprisoned!
It turned out that Takahiro Kudo had long coveted the sisters' beauty while they kept their distance from him. To possess them, he meticulously orchestrated a conspiracy. Using his wealth and power, he bribed surveillance cameras around the villa and seized the opportunity to break in when they were away, kidnapping them and locking them away in the warehouse.
Faced with Silence's questioning, Takahiro finally revealed his true nature. He laughed arrogantly and attempted to bribe Silence with money to abandon her investigation. However, Silence remained resolute.
Ultimately, with police assistance, Silence successfully rescued Asuka and Kazumi and brought Takahiro Kudo to justice. After enduring this harrowing ordeal, the sisters cherished their bond even more deeply and decided to face whatever challenges lay ahead together, come rain or shine.
